Hi, I am a lady from the US that loves all old things, my home is furnished with them. The old things have souls, if only they could share with us, sometimes it comes through what these items from the past send things to people like us who respect & treasure so. I watch you all the time, enjoy every show, you are wonderful young men, the respect & honor you give things how wonderful you share it all with us here in the US. I wish our US youth were more like you boys. I have all my Great grand mother treasures, her tax papers from the 1890's her, old mail & Christmas, birthday cards, her glasses, dishes, her 1896 "Wheeler Wilson" sewing machine, still works, have tin type photos of my ancestors, many photos from my family when they came over from Germany & Ireland. I love your work & respect you boys to the upmost. I am sending you a little money will be sending more further along. I love the Colorado Rockies we usually go there twice a year with our camper, we love to explore & visit the old gold mining ghost towns there ,I also love to visit the old cemetery's in these ghost town, give the rarely visited, some thought & talk to them.

I am from Canada. The pullover hanging in the wardrobe of the master bedroom is a tourist item which is embroidered with the name of the province of Quebec. It was most likely purchased from a store located in a hotel, airport, or tourist area. It appears from the stitching of the seams and weight of the material that it is a good quality sweatshirt.

Fantastic as usual from my 2 favorite boys. This place is beautifull! I love the big kitchen, you are right, we love those in the US. At least we used to, for cooking big family meals for big famlies. New houses have small kitchens, very few big famlies now. Watching this was bittersweet. It made me think of when my family died. He and his second wife were world travelers. After WWII he became an airplane mechanic. He worked his way up to being the president of engineering. Of course he traveled with his job. He retired twice and went back to work, then he and several other big shots in the aviation industry restarted the first airline he ever worked for. He and his wife opened a travel agency that she ran. They traveled every chance they got. When he retired for the last time he finally used the blueprints he had drawn up for his dream house. He bought the land up in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, US when I was still a kid. When he was a young teenager he had worked on a ranch, riding a donkey, that his property was part of. The huge amazing house was sold 1 year after his death because his wife didn't want to live there alone. She bought a small house in Texas close to her kids. She got together all my dad's stuff and all his mother's (my grandmother) antiques and had his kids go stay for a week and divide it all up. My grandmother's huge dining room set was to large for any of us so we called my cousin and she took it. No fighting, just a lot of good memories, a lot of laughter and some tears. I packed up everything no one wanted and took it with me. I thought maybe I could pass it out to grandkids. It is all still in boxes in storage with a few of my mother's things that are left. There is also a lot of my treasures there as my husband and I and one of my remaining sisters are all in the nursing home together. My kids and their cousins talk about getting together and going through it but they all have kids, some grandkids, jobs, houses, you know, a life. I tell my daughter who takes care of it and pays the bill for storage I just want a few things, then sell the rest to pay them back. She always tells me, "Not yet Momma". I don't think she will do it while I am alive. She knows I was the family historian and collector. I would really be OK with it now but I don't think she believes me. She is as sentimental as I am, so who knows, long after I am gone her kids might have to deal with it. Sorry so long, this one just really got to me, but in a good way. I just looked over and it made me laugh, I have my grandmother's brass and marble table/stand that was an antique when she got it right next to my bed. One more thing, love your parents, grandparents, Aunts and Uncles while you can, you don't know how much you will miss them someday. Your videos aren't too long. Grandma J

My sister and I thankfully have been able to split it up with no fighting and since she has no children and I do I have some of the best pieces. Sad thing is my daughter does not care about old things or sentimentality. I am 62 & still struggling to get rid of so much. It’s a blessing but then again it’s a curse. Most young people do not care about antiques China or crystal. You see beautiful sets of china & crystal for almost nothing. Seeing these two young men and the way they describe some things is amusing. Thanks to them for filming these homes and you guys will learn as you go on more explorations. Guys, you got to take more distance with personal belongings. Don't show family pictures and don't touch things like they're not going to break. Remember things have years there and is better to keep them in place. Also if you touch something wear gloves. Don't open microwaves , refrigerator just like that, remember there is Hanta Virus in closed areas, specially if they have years closed.
Your work is good but got to improve. Also a mic would be perfect.

Hi Maureno and Remon, Explomo, It was a real highlight to follow you in mind through the rooms of this abandoned millionaire's family
mansion in Belgium. I must admit, that I also couldn' hardly believe, how many things - beautiful and valuable things as well as normal
every day items - were just there left behind. - I wonder if the children of the former owners, who had both passed away, as you told,
are interested to take over these belongings, or if they just have endless arguments over these possessions. - Anyways , - if these
items could tell stories?!? - In the main hallway and in one of the bigger rooms there were two really impressive and beautiful chandeliers
to admire. I also liked the different quite elaborate wall and arch decorations looking somehow very similar to an old style like baroque.
It was so lovely to hear you making a lot of remarks, where you showed great appreciation and astonishment for the interior artful decors.
But what hurt me in a similar way like you, were these obvious traces of vandalism in some places, although that should be very rare
in Belgium, because people there usually have great respect for the belongings of others. - However it was a great explore and I wish
you all the best and many more safe explores. - Peace and kindest regards from Switzerland.

Imagino as plantas as flores enfeitando á varanda. Os quartos todo jeitoso os móveis é bastante agradável e a escada bem arejada uma casa com luz e muito harmonia pela época está bem conservada e nos passa muita paz...

Too many lovely things to comment on any one. The house is gorgeous. I’m an only child so no problems when my parents passed; however I married a man who has crazy siblings. Went through a terrible time with them when one grandmother died and sister-in-law who was executrix didn’t want to follow the will. My husband did. Now they want to cut me out of the other grandmother’s will. I want the third that’s supposed to come to me so I can help take care of my Mother-in-law because I don’t trust them to do so.Sigh. My daughter has looked at me a number of times over the years and thanked me for her being an only child!
Your videos are lovely. You treat the items with such respect. There are some other explores that are just as respectable. I applaud you for making sure you don’t show names. I always hope that the heirs will see these videos and feel shame at being neglectful.
Thank you for taking us with you. Be careful and stay safe… Your Virginia Granny.

😢I do believe that there to 5 or 6 children with 2 of them being boys. Our parents taught us from a young age not to fight over things that are left behind. I am only talking about items inside the house. The property had been divided before my Daddy passed 20 years after my mom died 😢 💔. She also said that anything each of us bought for them would go to that child. The last thing was there was to have no disagreements about any items. If one child wanted something more than another to let them have it. The money was divided equally between us. We were very close and loved each other and respected our parents ❤️ Doing what these children are doing is detrimental to the family and I don't like what they are teaching their children. Thanks for another wonderful exploration. ❤️

You two would pass out if you walked down into my basement because it has 2572 feet of things that were some of my parents things (I'm 70) and many pieces of furniture from my great grandparents and many of my husbands parents things ( he is 73). Many things of his grandmothers, Great Aunts, and other older family items. Also my huge craft area and a lot of our 11 children's more precious memory things, and more furniture from our passed years of 52 years of marriage. Not to mention box's of pictures. I even use a lot of the passed things for decorations, because I believe they need to be proudly displayed.

This was the best video that I have watched. Really makes me sad though, because so much has been left behind especially all of the photographs of memories of the family. How does anyone just forget these keepsakes. I am going to be 55 next year and when my mother passed away the family just went their separate ways and there is hardly any communication to me by my two nieces. This video has me really thinking that I don't want to leave a lot behind to people that didn't want to keep in touch with me. I am going to donate many things to people that have lost things to fires in their homes or are just trying to make a new start and don't have much money. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. You guys are very cool and very respectful of the things left behind in the homes. God bless you both and the passion that you have for your explorations.

Bebo Gomez It's not left behind, the family is fighting over it. You have a great idea of giving your things away to those in need. I'm getting ready for my eventual death and am giving my kids and grandkids what they want now. Whatever they don't want, I will donate. It solves the problem of there being a chance of fights that leads to fracturing the family, and there won't be too much left for them to clean out. For those who have never experienced this first hand, people's true selves show up at weddings and funerals!

What a shame this is going to fall into the wrong hands as already it shows vandals have trashed some of the home, unless it was family being resentful of the others. The one room upstairs had a tanning machine. This was a loved home at one time. Family being married in the home then the grandchildren with lots of places for them to sleep also. Death can bring out the worst in family. You did a great job showing off this home and sharing it with us Thank You
