I tried the heat method and did not work.sigh.i heat up to the point its too hot to touch as well and start pulling and jiggling but it does not want to come out.smh
Sorry to hear that, but I can assure you your boat will be the same design, just gotta get that bit to crack free. You really need to lever it out mate with decent force

That bushing is not meant to come out
Traditionally they are, this makes it so easy to service the shaft now and have had no issues
