@@Debajitvlogs89 yes absolutely BCS these books clear basic concepts, it is the base of upsc preparation and also BCS in NCERTs you will find things in chronological order, and also it will give you a deep understanding of syllabus.

I am not naming but one lady officer also posts videos in youtube, every video, she takes a minute to say her name and rank, the very reason i subscribed to jindal sir and unsubscribed her channel . Jindal sir could have done that, but he knew very well that the rank is a mere number and that the service to public is more important than credentials, kudos sir! Keep going
This is the most important aspect for clearing this exam . Everybody read the same thing but how they read it & what they take out of it , makes all the difference.

I have just submitted my PhD thesis. I never received such teaching for how to read and take notes throughout my studies. If I were received such training earlier, I would have excelled in academics. Thanks a lot for these kind of programs which are really appreciable

So when you write about existing things it is usually in your own words in a critical and comprehensive manner. It can take two forms - one to review existing literature and say this is the current state of knowledge or more like this is what we do and the second is to justify the decisions you make for instance why are you choosing one particular method of analysis over another - for this you can say that this study showed so and so and that's why I'm using it. While referring to others works they should all be cited. Your own new material will directly flow from the analysis that you do depending on the subject and topic. Regarding the second question, I'm not really sure. As far as my memory goes you now need a PhD for assistant professor I think. You can check UGC notification.
