Most of UPSC aspirants knows very well they will not sail to final merit list...still they will invest atlest 4-5 years in preparation. Most aspirants will never think about plan b and ended up getting nothing but Huge Frustration. So prepare seriously for 2 years. And start looking for plan b immediately. Not everyone becomes Ias ips by just mere hard work. Luck also plays huge role. Many says that they are looking for one seat ..but u have to compete with atlest 50k serious aspirants buddy.
