Heh! We ALL wish we were back at that age... but back THEN! He doesn't know of the pleasure of gowing through used bins at the used record store though... he wants to go with me next time I go record shopping! :)

Jayden has good taste in music. Yes 9.0 needs to be before the letters!!

His tastes are quite heavier than mine! 😋. And yeah, my 3 “#” bands are now at the beginning…. Just because i wanted something at the beginning so the “A” would stand out more…. 😋

I'm sure I pulled Queen Jazz in my last episode as well. I like those Alphabet Dividers!, I need some of those.
Some good picks by Jayden -
Tool Lateralus is the only Tool album I still listen too. Nice to see some Ghost, I'm dying to watch the " Rite Here,
Rite Now " movie. But no-where here is playing it👻

I remember you showing the Queen "Jazz" album! Yeah, i got those alphabet dividers on Amazon.. some are ridiculously expensive, but these ones were like 27$ Canadian (as opposed to between 45-70$ for a set - ridiculous) - shop around on Amazon, you should find some! AS for Ghost, the movie was playing in 2 cinemas here, but I shall wait for the bluray instead... I did preorder the Rite Here Rite Now vinyl soundtrack as I believe there is a new studio track on it... Thanks for watching and commenting once again! :)

That's a drag with the water heater break! Happened to me in late 2010 or early 2011, just 6 months after moving in! All my vinyl albums were in my hobby room closet, but that was behind the wall from the water heater. Everything on shelves was OK, but the bottom level got wet. Most of those covers showed some buckling, but 5 of them got truly stuck together and were so torn up I decided to part with them. I donated them to a Christian Consignment store nearby (kind of like Goodwill or Salvation Army), and hoped they saw how good the vinyl was inside and priced them at a buck or two instead of the usual 50-cents for scratched up stuff.

Two albums were from 1977 by Gary Wright -- The Light Of Smiles, and also Touch And Gone. Thank God the Dream Weaver album had a heavier jacket, so I still have that!

Another album was the self title debut by Zebra! I'm not sure, but another title might have been No Tellin' Lies by Zebra. I love those, but was ready to upgrade to a CD, so was kind of OK with that... that is until I learned they were out of print when I tried to order them a couple years later! D'oh! Just a few years ago I finally got the remaster reissues of those CDs -- no bonus tracks, but nice liner notes.

The last one you'll probably want to strangle me for giving away. It was the Wendy O. Williams album produced by Gene Simmons, with Paul Stanley, Eric Carr, and even Ace Frehley making guest appearances on different tracks. But the time was before all this resurgence in vinyl of recent years. Still I knew a Kiss fan might still like it, but had no idea where to sell it or how to ship it, since Radio Shack didn't even seller LP mailers anymore. I figured at that time wouldn't have gotten more than $10 anyway with a torn up cover. Near virgin vinyl, because the album sucked so badly that I literally only played it 2 or 3 times. The main thing was to be able to hold up the LP cover and brag, "Look what I have!" But once that's torn to shit, the attraction is gone.

Oh my, ya, that sucks for you too! I'm lucky as there wasn't any "major" damage... just lots of water in the furnace room and on the carpet a little... I'd probably cry myself to sleep if i lost any records or cds in something like that...
