Would love to see a few of these 'sash and corner post' type blocks sewn together! One block alone looks ok, but what do they look like in a quilt?
You are a very organized lady! Bravo! You explain very easy! Thanks! And good luck for your lottery!
Thank you so much!
Hi!! I love this design do you have a photo of it completed that I could see?
I love your quilting. You're so real and make things look easy to do. I have to tell you though, I laugh every time you sew because your machine sounds like a machine gun!
Thank you so much. I think the camera just seem to pick up certain sounds louder than others. I once had someone tell me not to throw my rottery cutter down when I was just setting down just out of video. But laughter is good medicine so I'm glad to help. LoL thanks for watching.
Thank you for the shout out to Facebook group!! Your entry looks great!! Good luck!!
I am learning so much by participating in the swaps and challenges and contests!
Awesome!
This block would look cool sashed with a red cornerstone. It would enhance the “chain” effect in the finished quilt.
That is an awesome idea! Thanks for watching!
Very nicely done
Thank you.
Thank You!
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching.
Option 1 i liked the best.
Thanks

What group is this block lottery with? I didn't see below. 🤔 Thanks

March and April blocks are soooo cute!

Very nice. Love it!! Ty
Thank you
Very good 👌💞💞😍
Thanks 🤗
I shpould say do they still do it? Just saw from last year. 😕
Yes - the group continues to host a "block lottery".
I love it. Thank you!!!
So glad you liked it. Thank you for your encouragement!
Isn’t it the same as if you would have folded the 9 patch in half both ways then cut on those lines. ?
I suppose there are many ways you could do it.
Thank you for your tutorial. I love the versatility of the 9 patch. Being a new quilter of only a few months now, I wonder if this 9 patch lottery is open for a new quilt block challenge....can you inform me and others about that? As a newbie, I am not even sure where and how to look for things. Would welcome comment from others also. Did you win the lottery? I hope so. What a fun idea.

When u sew your blocks together the first 3 blocks press your seems to the right the middle 3 blocks press your seems to the left the last 3 blocks to the right. Then when u cut the blocks and re sew the blocks your seems should b facing the opposite so u shouldn't have to re iron your seems.
Great idea!
Option 2
any way get in crazy dave's crew quilting for beginner
sure. Just go to the link in the desciption and answer the questions. Thanks for asking.
You need a better ruler -- one that doesn't slide around on you while you're cutting. Every time you cut thru the block -- the ruler slides.
That may be more of a weakness problem caused by my MG. Thanks for watching.
I saw it slide twice, once in each direction. But it only showed on one side when she pinned it together. A good non-slip ruler is a good idea for all.
