I don't know how many times I've watched this video. I haven't been sewing for a while because of old age and cataracts. I also had a stroke a couple months ago and I'm getting better but my surgery is going to be done in March for my eyes. I can't wait to start showing again. I have a new granddaughter who is 9 months old and I can't wait to make her something. Actually I can't wait to make her a lot of things. Thank God I'm recovering from the stroke. Anyway I love watching your videos. And the repeats are just fine with me. LOL. Happy sewing everyone. Just don't get old like me.
I am new to quilting and after watching hours of different yt quilting channels, i now only watch yours. You present such a logical format, in such a calm way, that i actually think i can start one of these master pieces! Thank you and God bless!
I so agree. I’ve been quilting for a while and still prefer learning from Donna. And when I’m stressed or just too weary to do anything I watch her make a quilt like I would watching a movie🤣💕
I just came home from Joanne Fabrics. I needed more flannel for baby items as it is on sale. I've watched this tutorial twice and can't wait to try it. My hardest part is choosing the correct colors for a project. Some times they call out to me but some times nothing looks good together. Please do more tutorials for babies & children. I love watching you and listening to your instructions.
Thank you Donna. I have been struggling with my 1st disappearing 9 patch. just everything went wrong. I am so new and basic to quilting so trying to get to know how to do it right so squares match up seeing what you did was great helping my craft store ladies explain where I was going wrong and why. Thank you for a full understanding ironing which way the lay material to line up spot on together. So much appreciated from Australia 🇦🇺 Louise.
Why are people so quick to feel like the only way to make a point give a thumbs down. No matter how I may feel personally I would never be so mean to put a thumbs down. All your hard work is very good and you are amazing keep up the great work and keep the videos coming.
I love watching you sew! Reminds me of sewing with my mom. She still used a 1941 Singer bought second hand. All it had was a zipper foot and a button hole attachment, and it’s all we needed!
I love going back and looking for old tutorials when I am trying to find a pattern to make for a new project. I found this pattern when a friend asked me to help her make a youth to twin size quilt for a new baby girl. She loved how it turned out!
I've read printed instructions and watched several videos and still wasn't sure how to do a mitered border - until I watched your video Donna! My very first quilting project a couple of years ago was based on one of your videos and I continue to learn from you. Thank you for your easy-to-follow tutorials.
Thank you! If is very helpful to have something that looks difficult be presented in such a clear, straightforward way. Your videos are very valuable in my quilting journey.
This is, by far, the best tutorial I've found! I searched and searched before making my first quilt. All of Donna Jordan's videos are superb. I'm mitering by striped border now, and found the "FINISH YOUR QUILTS!" video which will take me to the end. I can't thank you enough for your detailed, incredibly clear, and helpful guidance. Your perfect amount of enthusiasm and professionalism which gave me the confidence to get started! Thank you, thank you.
Thank you, Donna! This is fantastic and achievable for me! The rotation of the two squares blew me away because I love the squares and rectangles effects that make another pattern....very exciting!
Thanks a million for this video !!!! I made my very first mitered border and t turned out great. It was possible only because of your perfect and easy tutorial. As others have mentioned I too watched a lot of videos but nothing beats your explanation Donna 😊 thanks!!
This is absolutely the BEST instruction video for a Disappearing Nine Patch on the net! Your clear step by step instruction is again matched by superb camera closeups so we can really SEE the detail necessary to achieve accuracy and success! Thank you once again Donna and your cameraman!
Hi, Jordan. I'm just watching your videos, and I like the way that show step by step, how to do a quilt. I'm a beginner so I'm learning from you. Thank you. Thank you.
Wow!!! I have Learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much for taking time to do these for us. We have a handicapped daughter, which makes it difficult to physically go to classes. These videos are a Blessing. ❤️
Thankyou so much. I saw the weight in the ruler. AWESOME YES less stress on the shoulders. Finger pressing was not a given but it was a new way faster to assemble with the chain piecing. Thanks for posting.
Hello. I am not a Quilter & only just found an interest in the last few days 😋 but this disappearing 9 Patch I'd Truly Great! 😁 I can't wait to make my first Baby Quilt Now 😁💕💚💙💜 Erica x
I've watched many quilting videos but you're one of the best instructors I've seen. Thank you for clear instructions, good photography, and staying on track. You make it look so easy. I'm anxious to try your methods.
I have taken classes, read many quilting books on how to instructions, very complicated, but your tutorial video has given me hope that I too can do it. You are a great instructor, every city & country needs one of you. God bless!
You have a knack for presenting information. It is a joy to watch and learn as you demonstrate how to do something. Somehow you remember to add so many important details. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! My first quilt was one of Donna's patterns and it made me look like a superstar! I have learned SO much about this really cool craft. I've made 7 quilts and a pillow in the last year or so and its thanks to Jordan Fabrics!
@@JesusisKing222 I made the Ribbons Quilt with the Dandie Annie layer cake and it came out pretty darn good. I learned a cruel lesson about bias! 😆 But...i can't complain otherwise. It made me look like a superstar!

Donna I am planning out a queen size holiday rag quilt with some clearence fabric I just picked up. I will make good use of this video, thanks for all your great posts. I have yet to venture into anything more than a crib sized 9 patch many years ago before I had anyone to teach me. You make sense out of the layout here.
This is, by far, the EASIEST MITERING, I have EVER seen done...THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Now, I will ALWAYS, use your technic on all my binding of my quilts... THIS IS AMAZING......
So many tips and tricks. Thanks to you and the photographer for getting right down into the close up shot. It really makes a difference. As a newby, I could follow this quite well and will add it to my list of must trys.
I have made this quilt but different colors. It turned out so pretty. I made a queen size quilt. I have the back, batting and top pinned together and all I like is quilting the top. I am going to hand quilt it. My daughter and her boy friend are coming for a visit in a few day so I will finish it after they go back up north. I hope everyone has a blessed week.
I'd forgotten about this pattern until I saw this video - I turned ten fat quarters into a baby quilt top in an afternoon. It would have been faster, but I fussy cut two of the FQs. So fast and easy and so cute! Thank you for all the videos! 💜💛💚💙💜💛💚💙
My first attempt back at sewing, after 30 years away from a machine. I didn't line up the squares with the first sew, and ripped it out, watched a vid on intersection matching, pinned it, checked it, sewed it! perfect. Did another one, and the bobbin ran out, and since I didn't realize it, when I repinned it back on, I switched it around. No worry, it will work. I learned a huge amount of information from the video, and am watching it step by step. Never underestimate the value of pins, and an iron. Thanks! I'm still joining squares!!!!
