    Laura, thank-you for being so precise and doing everything in detail. Telling the "why" you need to do it helps us remember to do it. ;) You are a great teacher for the beginner and for us oldies that have become a bit hap-hazard with our quilting. This is the first of your videos I have seen, but I have a feeling I will be watching many more. We appreciate your knowledge and experience. Please, keep the tutorials coming!

      Thank you so very much for you ultra kind words of encouragement. I try to teach the way I like to learn. And I'm still learning! For most part, I'm self-taught by the home school of Trial and Error!

      Yes -- I'd rather take extra time with pinning than having to rip seams! Thanks so much for watching

    Glad I found you. I am a beginner. I had a written instructions but I learn by watching. I had made 2 9 quilt squares but my corner is off a bit all the time. I thought I have to open it flat and match it that way but can’t make it to match. I will try your way. Thanks. I am a new subscriber.

    Your camera is not showing your steps -the material and how you’re laying fabrics together. What the viewers are seeing is mainly your cutting mat. Otherwise, this is a good technique

      Over the last few years, I have been part of many block swapping groups and have really enjoyed them. Most of the have disbanded due to covid and I have decided to take a break myself. Of course, I do recommended our group, Sewing and Crocheting For Beginners m.facebook.com/groups/2049729035302494

    Your camera IS NOT showing nothing please review the video before you put it on RUclips

    • @CrazyDavesCrew
      @CrazyDavesCrew  10 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure what you mean. I edit each video before it is uploaded. I have rewatched the entire video after you comment and it is showing all the way through. Some times the angles may not be the best, but at no time is the camera showing nothing. Perhaps the problem is with your computer or internet provider. I hope you're able to get it corrected. Thank you for watching. Have a great day.

    • @CrazyDavesCrew
      @CrazyDavesCrew  10 месяцев назад

      @@hanaansari5975as I said sometimes the camera angle is off, but saying nothing is showing implies the scene is blank. Laura is an excellent sewist and does an excellent job of explaining what she is doing. It is very difficult to make sure the camera angles are perfect and cut an Sew at the same time. If you will also read all of the comments, you will find most people were able to understand what she was doing. I apologize that Laura is not a professional Hollywood camera operator, but she is an excellent sewist and teacher according to the other comments.
