  • Here's how I connected my Blaze King Princess PE32 to outside combustion air. If you have allergies or sensitivities to smoke, connecting to outside combustion air can dramatically reduce the amount of indoor smoke from your wood stove. Thanks for this video, we had a Princess installed in our manufactured home last fall. On a low and slow fire we get reverse draft and smoke comes out the air intake of the stove. Doing this same project soon.

Nice video, I’ve done the same install except I used a 4”-1/2 hole bit, had to go through, tile, 2 bricks, 3/4 plywood and 2” of fur boards, I then ran the
4 “ pipe through the hole and foamed to seal with a ring covering the hole and foam for looks, the outside air dose improve air quality in the house as well as reduce the likelihood of Radon intrusion as the house no longer is sucking air from any cracks from outside or crawl space if your area is subject to Radon and it’s a dirt crawl space

Excellent point about the radon. My outside air intake pipe ran through the ceiling of a finished basement. Glad your install worked out well!
