WerewolfLord Idk, but in the revived series, Chris as the Doctor said he was 900 then David as the Doctor said he was 904 years old in this. So maybe it’s a miswrite or the writers were clearly not paying attention to how old the Doctor was after the last great Time War.
@@WerewolfLord the doctor lies... probably was making it up at that point or maybe the time war really did muck up the timelines enough that he actually *did* loose age from events he experienced just not happening. Its the Doctor, you have to take anything he says about his past with a grain of salt and scepticism.

To be fair, though, it was Moffatt who started trying to make the Doctor a more sexual character. His very unsubtle metaphors in "The Doctor Dances", that bizarre 'relationship' with Reinette in "Girl in the Fireplace", and it just kept going from there.

The show seems to have grown out of it since Capaldi showed up but it feels like a lesbian relationship is possible with Whitaker. They practically teased it with Yaz in Arachnids in the UK. I don't care either way though since Doctor Who has been dead to me since the Doctor Falls. It actually started with the Eighth Doctor and honestly I don't think the Doctor should ever have romantic interests. Not unless its done in a certain way such as an old time lords crush like his first wife.

You know, I disliked the eleventh doctor for the longest time. I finally figured out why. He’s the most outwardly childish, exploring the universe with a childlike glee in order to mask the dark pain hidden within him.
But that makes sense from a story standpoint. If he thought this was going to be his final regeneration, of course he’d rather spend his final lifetime as an optimist.
Then with the Doctors regeneration cycle reset came the 12th Doctor
David Tennant and Matt Smith play off each other so well. I wish we could've seen more of those two.
