I have the ender 3 v2 plus. Is my first and only printer. It’s been a fantastic learning experience on how to actually get it working good. Very frustrating at times and very rewarding when it goes well. I think I’ve got mine in a good place right now. Prints well with only brim and good z seam quality. Stringing is something I need to figure out how to fix I’ve got a dryer and an enclosure to keep temp consistent but still stringing a lot.
I gave up on the tinkering with the Ender 3, bought a Bambu P1S, and I am extremely happy. I am picking up another this weekend, as my wife has taken mine to use for her crafting. It is THAT easy to use.
As far as the Neptune series of printers go I present you with my own story: I bought the 4 max in April of this year and started pumping out mark 85 pieces. I was also printing out smaller print in place pieces as gifts. The printer lasted about 3 months before going bonkers. I agree with your thoughts on klipper. I hate it personally. I got in touch with elegoo support and after exchanging several emails the sent me a free brand new motherboard. I love elegoo. I still dream about a K1max though.
Great video Franky. I have 4 printers and my favorite by far is my k1. I rooted mine and with the ability to use mainsail and all the available options, it is an amazing printer. I find it to be the most reliable printer as well. I have way over 1000 hours and Creality has been great. I broke my front door by mistake and they sent me a replacement right away. So I can't complain.
Oh my gawd......just when I thought it was the last word for economical printers with clout like the Ender 3 V3 SE along comes this one with more bells and whistles blowing and clanging for all their worth.........I just received my Ender 3 V3 SE today and it's still in the box waiting to get out........oh and BTW, I like the presentation very muchly .... it has real excitement and those prints are awesome.......the jointed dragon is out of this World......etc. etc. Also, this will be my very first attempt at 3D printing....I already have the first Ender 3 printer with a few upgrades installed but haven't used it and will sell in on as a new item on Ebay or wherever.
Hi, great video but can you tell me what the total surface area of the printer is? The minimum dimensions you need to place the printer, only the printer. Thank you.
Just what is not included to start printing right away. Is there anything Ill need to get. They offer two different add on kits are they needed? and if so which 1 Thanks for your time love your content
I just got the ender3 v3 plus and the usb drive wasn’t working properly because before it printed it had an error. Also is the ender3 v3 plus wireless?
I have the 3 V3 and it is a workhorse. The only issue I have had with it is when you pause the print to change the filament, or pause the print job for an extended period of time, the filament tends to snap off inside the extruder just below the gears.
Always been a fan of your videos and your videos have helped me out many times with various prints, but........................ I have been using my little CR6SE for the past 3 or so years and just love this printer. Yes, I have modded and frankensteined it so much, but it just does what I need. But now I need something that won't break the bank, but has a large print bed. I have to say, I've been eyeing this printer for a while, but after watching this video, I'm a bit worried because you kinda do say go for it, but then you don't... And the K1 Max is just way out of my price range for now. So do I or don't I? Oh, I also want to be able to slap my Pi with Octoprint on it! This is a MUST HAVE! I don't want Creality spying on my prints and networks... 🤣🤣🤣
Love ya Frank but I'm never buying Creality again. When they work they're fine and when they don't it's aggravating. I've been working on my K1 all week because it got a bad clog. Had to replace the motor, heat block and one of the tension cable plates because that broke somehow. Then I was getting a weird line in the center of the prints because the belt tension is off. Tried updating the firmware and it just bricked the whole printer. Meanwhile I've had like 10 Elegoo 3 Pros and a P1P for almost a year and rarely had any issues with them. I just don't trust Creality anymore.
I'm with you as well. My KE is all over the place, some days it works, others it fights me. I've replaced the hot end twice and recently had my x limit switch fail and I cannot find the parts nor a video on how anywhere. I put an order in for a P1S this morning.
Love the videos I've had the v3 plus for a few months and have had really good results especially since they dropped the new slicer software, also heard that the new CFS system will be compatible with it and the k1s
If you enjoy a lot of messing with clipper to get it to do the basics then yep. If it was as usable as the N3 max i have i would get one but all i see is people messing in clipper for weeks.
Hi! Would you recommend this printer over the anycubic kobra 2 plus? I can't decide between the ender 3 v3 plus, the anycubic and the elegoo neptune 4 plus.
Excellent, thanks for that perfectly timed review. It is like you knew I was on the Creality site looking at new printer options last night! I will strongly consider that Ender 3 V3 for my next unit... I do have one question; Do you have a video, or general recommendations on what to do with older printers that are not being used any more?
I had purchased the v3 KE earlier this year and have close to 700hrs on it. I've replaced the hot end twice and just recently my x-axis limit switch failed out of nowhere. Creality parts are almost impossible to find unless it's hot end/nozzle parts. I ordered a P1S this morning.
I love mine but man does it squeal at low speeds. Found I had to slow down the top layers because it was set too fast when Orcaslicer first released it. The Creality 5.1 has a really good one which I copied over to Orca and have been using that with slight tweaks to my liking. The Neptune 4 Plus was plagued with firmware drama on launch. Took me 2 months to finally tune it in and install replacement parts for parts that arrived damaged on the printer.
@Xunjie3D Never heard of you. You have littne to no good reputation, if you were just advertising maybe id trust you, but since youve lied i think ppl might wanna avoid your stuff
@@A-scketchy-otter-lol I also never heard of you - even if I was in the last 38 years many times in China. Your comment is rater weird and unpolite. Why I do not buy a Creality printer anymore is the reason, that Creality's firmware is always prototype level only and not working properly and customers will never get a proper working firmware update. Chinese, especially Creality should not only copy hardware and software from Western companies but should modify and optimise the open source firmware to work perfect for their hardare. But Creality never does.
Great reviews. Just slow movements when showing closeups and use manual focus with small aperture (high iso if needed) . Most cameras can't autofocus well enough. movies use manual focus techniques ! google depth of field and manual focus. cheers
Solid overall. Really hard to tell exact print quality though without some actual stationary in focus close up shots. The key issue with most Creality printers right now is the extruder design which leads to a lot of artifacts.
Do you know how to send the print directly to the printer? I have creality print hooked up and can monitor the print there, but is there a way to wirelessly send the exported g code from Orcaslicer to the printer via wifi? Right now i am just shuttling the gcode via a thumb drive. thanks
I like the large build plate. That dragon would never be printed for my kids. I couldn't imagine stepping on that thing early in the morning after waking up.
I really thought about getting this one. I’m debating this one or wait for the K2 plus. I’m just worried this Ender plus will have the layer shift wobbling cause by the bed slinger when printing taller prints.
7:30 completely agree. I have been using Orca* Slicer as I had terrible results from creality print. The new creality print is fantastic, Even support for layer pauses and other options that should have been there a long time ago :D However. My next upgrade could possibly move away from creality
When you print with the printers you are testing, are you using the stock slicer or do you switch it up between orca slicer too? Wondering what is better to use for my Ender 3 V3, whether I should use creality slicer or orca slicer?
Use whatever works best for you. I started with Cura, then moved to Prusa slicer, for features like bridges when printing over infill. And later I switch to SuperSlicer because it have control over width of different model parts. And now I tried swtich to Orca and it just does not work for me. I do not like the UI which makes me feel Cura flash backs. And it game poor quality for me. It have lots of cool stuff, but I do not see difference only trouble with them. If you want again to change something you need remove clones, then repeat. So some features are absent to my surprise. So use whatever you like and what gives you the best experience.
It's nice and I'm glad to see Ender starting to push new printers again...but I really don't see how it justifies it's price. It's $479 and can only do single material printing automatically and at best matches speed with the A1 from Bambu which at this exact moment is $489 Including the AMS. The only thing it brings to the table is less then 40mm additional capacity. Which while that isn't nothing, unless you are mass printing extremely large prints just isn't that big a difference. Now if it was pushing 400x400x400+, then sure they have an argument. But as it stands, beyond "I just want to buy an Ender" it is inferior to it's direct competition in price in every metric that matters. Sorry, disappointed that Creality couldn't do better than this. Sadly I feel like this printer really just takes advantage of people who are new to 3d printing and don't know there are better options.
Just picked up the Core xz! Only been about a week and already 2 extruder jams lol, I'm new to this and yanked on the filament the first time, second time was kinda weird, dug into the bed and then jammed, about to change the z offset up a couple .1s, anybody got more advice?

As painless and easy as that machine is to root. There is no reason to suffer through using Creality Print ever again. You can use Orca and print directly to the Plus just like any other Klipper machine.
The filament untangle thing is hilarious. Just add a bowden tube and fix the end somewhere stationary. Issue gone. I'll never understand why so many printers just drag the filament around. Completely pointless and an issue that can be fixed with almost zero cost by just adding a bowden tube.

the iron man part is why ill never use a bed slinger again, the design needs to just be retired and core XY should be the standard, better speeds, better quality, and lends itself much easier to enclose.
It goes up to ender 7, i think, i haven't seen one, but i have seen an Ender 6, but the Ender 3 is the most popular. I still can't find what an Ender 1 is, though
AFAIK the first Ender was the Ender 2. My first chinese printer. After that I bought an Emder 3, a Tevo Tarantula Pro, two Kingroon KP3S, and a Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro. None of them (perhaps with the excepcion of the N4P) have the same print quality of the Ender 2.
@luciomachado9582 it might be to do with the previous models only being prototypes, and then the tesla model 3 and the ender 2 are the first models that can be sold
30x30x30 is actually not a verry good concept for a bedslinger... Probably also going to give some dimensional errors when prints are getting bigger/heavier.
The top 3 comments talk about not wanting to buy a reality machine again, and I agree they’ve been sitting not high or mighty but they have a spot cornered in the market that they’ve had for too long, good vid tho

About the ender 4, it goes from the ender, ender 2, ender 3, ender 4, ender 5, ender 6 and ender 7 (the printers from ender 4 or 5 are in a box shape)

@luciomachado9582 Why is it called the ender 2 if it's the first one?
@@kaelan_123 It's mystery. Why there is a Tesla model 3 if there are no models 1 and 2?
@luciomachado9582 it might be to do with the previous models only being prototypes, and then the tesla model 3 and the ender 2 are the first models that can be sold
best 3d printing youtber 🐐🐐
I want big Bambu
can you review bambu lab a1
30x30x30 is actually not a verry good concept for a bedslinger... Probably also going to give some dimensional errors when prints are getting bigger/heavier.
stringing depends on filament xd
I’m happy for all the creality hate in the comments, it’s about time.
What hate? Lol
The top 3 comments talk about not wanting to buy a reality machine again, and I agree they’ve been sitting not high or mighty but they have a spot cornered in the market that they’ve had for too long, good vid tho
@@FranklyBuilt Shoot, autocorrect i typed creality not creator, you dont deserve any hate, my b
Nothing to do with the printer but is iron man your favorite superhero?
My experience with Enders is they work great until they have an issue and it’s always a drastic issue. Anyone have experience with this on these?
I need some new friends that design stuff for cosplay events or just for mutaual friendship.
Orcaslicer all day

Proprietary crap that was a knockoff of a traitor to the open source community. Avoid them.
