I vaguely recall several people mentioning it but who knows. I was under the impression those serious people with expensive machines and large build areas run a battery backup on their machines. Wouldn't effect me as I disable power lose recovery in my firmware.
@@brianswille Yeah, I did mention it, but I don't think the bed falling down is too much of an issue. Reason being, if the printer ever loses power it will need to re-home to figure out where the Z axis is, and if it homes to the bottom it can get its bearings straight before resuming the print. If it homes at the top, it is unable to determine it's Z coordinate while a half finished part is inside the machine. I did see on Sam's video that he had a gap upon resuming the print. That was likely caused by the print shrinking while the printer was shut down, and when it picked up where it left off there was suddenly a larger gap. I think it could have been salved with a custom Z offset command, but that's getting pretty technical. Maybe it could touch off on the part using the nozzle loadcell to figure out where it should resume.
I bought a K1c based in part on your reviews as my first 3d printer. I now have a Sovol sv08 and love that I can print a full size Storm Trooper helmet in one piece. I wanted a multi color printer, so I ordered a K2 plus. I’m just a hobbyist getting into to cosplay and the large format printers work really well for me. The sv08 does great with any single color PLA print. I want the K2 to handle large prints in other filaments. I may have to do a second ST in ABS.
You know, when you look at the AMS on the P1S/X1C, it fits at about the same width as the printer. When you look at the K2 Plus, their 4-spool CFS looks small (because the K2 is so big, obviously). They could've probably made a 5-spool version within the footprint and made that another selling point...350mm-cubed and a 5-color CFS. They might have missed a trick there. Still, I'm really happy to see something this size out there, and with something resembling pretty good quality prints. I wonder if stuff like this and the Qidi Plus4 will spur Bambu to kick it up a notch?

Hello Frank. Just wanted to say I'm new to the channel but have watched several of your videos (and many others, from other channels) about 3D printing in general (as a beginner). Your videos have absolutely been some of the best and most informative to watch. I decided to pick up the K2 Plus Combo with CFS because there was a 20% off coupon for it, so I paid $1199, before taxes. I think it was a pretty sweet deal, even if it is a bit overkill as my first printer. Just wanted to say thank you for your videos and efforts, they were very useful!
I'm hesitant on the K2 Plus just because of that slicer issue. I'll be looking forward to the video on Orca Slicer, that's what I'd be using if I had a K2 Plus.
Your overview of the K2 Plus is excellent, the heated chamber and large production volume are really its standout features, especially for projects like full size helmets, the black friday deals you mentioned are definitely tempting, but balancing features and budget is always a challenge,I've been using the Flsun T1pro for quite a while now, and it's been a reliable workhorse for me, while it doesn't have the advanced CFS system of the K2, it has consistently delivered great results, especially for tall single-material prints, it's amazing how fast and efficient it can be,however, i'm also keeping an eye on the upcoming Flsun S1 Pro, its speed and accuracy sound impressive, making it a solid contender in the market,i'm really excited to see how it performs once it's available, looking forward to your in depth research into multi color systems, your reviews are always spot on, and they help a lot when making purchasing decisions. what do you think about the S1 Pro compared to the K2 Plus? I'd love to see a comparison between these two machines from you. Your reviews are always honest, and I'm looking forward to your next update!
For me, the deal breaker is the price on this thing, and not my well-earned distrust of Creality always failing to dot all the i's and cross all the t's. The K1 Max has been a mixed bag, but still firmly in second place ahead of the QIDI, the SV-08 and the Kobra 2 Max. If Bambu delays past 1Q'25, I'll probably get one of these, assuming they don't jack the price up. Otherwise, I'll bide my time on the Bambu, because I know it will work. I have five of them in four different models and they all just work.
I think bambu has been waiting to release a new model until another company did first, they've been talking about their next gen for years now just biding time. They probably just wanted to make sure they could top the market
I had to come here straight away when i saw this video as i know you'll absolutely give a honest review. Im very tempted with one of these but i think im going to hold out for Bambulab. The way i see it us Creality are now chasing Bambulab. But Bambulab are taking their time. You just gotta look at their first attempts and you know what they bring out next is going to definitely be up and beyond Creality with extra new features. I think im going to play the game and wait for Bambu. Its not that long to wait. Thanks for the video bud, was definitely good to see.
Nice to see the K2 is looking good out of the gate. Personally I'm waiting to be able to upgrade my K1 Max's. I'd like to see part for part what the K1 would require to become compatible with the CFS. May even be able to speculate costs on some of the parts that can be purchased already. If Creality's upgrade kit ends up being well over $300 I can see a lot of people just moving over instead.
To fix your support material being stuck, apparently you can print your support material in a special different type of plastic designed to be support material. So it can sit under or ontop of your PLA with zero layer height difference and once it cools it just comes off because the 2 different types of plastic don't adhere to each other.
Don't get sucked in to expensive support material. You can actually use petg as your support interface material with zero z gap between it and your model and it breaks away like butter. Well maybe not butter but it comes away easy and leaves a great undamaged surface on your model. You gotta use petg as support interface when printing in pla. You can do it the other way around too but I've found that doesn't work as well
Thank you for the advice. I still wish I did spend the extra buck and got the K2 cfs but went for the K1 max. I hope they upgrade it to use multi color system
I ordered mine the night it was released. Im still new at 3d printing I. Sure it will have a learning curve just like my k1max. I have e heard that alot of the printers are having issues printing silks. looking forward to your next video. I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you.
Great information Frank. Thanks for the video. I’m gonna hold out for the next Bambu and hope it has a solution to the filament waste on color changes along with those LONG print times.
I wish I could buy mine now.... Have to wait due to unforeseen issues but hopefully soon...... Have a K1 max and love it!! Made the mistake buying an A1 combo but thats another story. Still dealing with that mistake...
Everyone's use case is different, but I bought the Ender 5 Plus years ago with its 370x370x400 build volume. I never actually needed to print anything large enough to justify that purchase, and the machine takes a lot of space.
This looks awsome i just getting started with 3d printing after a friend gave an broken ender 3 to me, i fixed it by swapping the hot end fully rebuilding it, works a charm Creality is nice :)
Thanks for the review Frank! I never bought a Creality machine and I took a shot at the K2 with the black Friday deal. I'm coming from Bambu P1P and AMS system. The size of the bed is why I wanted this printer. I have a big head and I need a big printer for helmets. I just hope I didn't make a mistake with this machine......
I asked bambu about the heated chamber on the p1s because there is an output on the board and a software setup for it. They said they explored it and even with nylon it isnt needed. They said they found their printers actually need to vent heat most of the time.
Would love to see some example prints with flat sides. 👍 Curved surfaces make it a lot harder to see how it will do with surface quality and more functional prints and such
I pre-ordered the K2 Plus for the size and extruder (This beast claims it can hit 350 C, and it can do it. I still wouldn't recommend hitting above 330 consistently). It absolutely chugs PA6, going to see about purchasing some PA6-CF and seeing what I can do~ as well as other filaments such as ASA. My only regret is that it can't handle PEEK. It does just work out of the box, heads up, it's heavy and when the extruder starts printing quickly, you need a solid desk and anti-vibrational pads, or else it will start shaking like a mofo (I have a metal office desk with a solid wood top, thing weighs around 80 lbs. I also have it's 8 drawers filled with filament and such, resin, etc. Easily another 60 lbs. This thing shakes it. I have an Ender 3 V3 SE sitting on the desk next to it, and it shakes so bad it feels like the filament roll will pop off the spool holder (it doesn't, just feels like it) so be prepared to find a suitable place to put it on if you want to take advantage of faster print speeds. "14" (15) minute benchy came out remarkably fine. With some fine adjustments, I was able to get it to do an 11 minute benchy with better results. Only thing holding this thing back is honestly the slicer, which I absolutely love Creality Print, but, it needs some slight improvements on the back end for better results. Printer Quality: 9.2/10 Printer Features and capabilities: 9.7/10 (350mm^3, 350 C extruder with 140 C bed and 60 C ambient active enclosure heating, 600 mm/s print speed, 30,000 mm/s^2 acceleration, 2x cameras to identify failed prints (1 on extruder, 1 on side) but I've heard the one on the extruder isn't great (a print already failed and messed up the extruder/heat block from a reddit post), etc) Printer reliability: 9.1/10 (if the extruder camera failure detection rate goes up and the slicer gets a bit better, I will come back and update this to likely around a 9.7/10) Printer cost for performance: 9.9/10 if you use it's full potential, 8.7/10 for regular consumers. For most people the P1S is just cheaper and does 90% of what this printer does, which is all they need it for. Cosplayers may want to consider this printer for larger parts, but they can also go and build an enclosure out of wood, buy a Neptune 4 Max (400x420x480 mm iirc) and save $1,000, but it takes more tinkering, etc. The only people who will need all of this capabilities are enthusiasts and niche audiences (for example, I've already printed some functional car parts out of PA6 for my older brother, and some useful car parts. They're working just fine, but they were large and used PA6, but the alternative were $1,000+ for a replacement BMW part or god forbid the $2,800 OEM BMW part) Currently printing some large dungeon tiles from Hexengarde I scaled up to fit 32 mm bases on (tile is ~10x10x4 inches or 254x254x102 mm) which barely fits on the P1S and X1C. The regular size is 6x6x2.5 inches which comfortably sits, but many of my models are 30-32 mm and thus I'm biting the bullet and printing a larger size, as well as some car exhausts out of PETG and PA6 to test if they can handle the heat (we live in Texas, if it survives here, it'll survive just about anywere) Note: My Pre-order price was $1200+tax (free S&H) w/ CFS. If you bought it without the CFS, I believe it was $950 at the time? or $1000, I can't remember. I believe they're still offering it with the CFS for $1500 before they put it up to their MSRP $1800. Hope this helps to inform others o/
I managed to get mine in the second wave of preorder and got it for what I paid for my P1S with AMS. But, they also have delayed it 3 times in total now. The first delay, they gave me 4kg of filament and a space pi dryer. The second delay they gave me a "10% off for life coupon." The other delays they straight up didn't notify me til I emailed them, offered nothing other than a written apology.
I've been happy with thei Alpha launch for this printer. (Alpha as in the hardware is sold but the first months firmware bugs/issues need to be ironed out like any other video games. 😅 ) I'm one of the earlybird buyers so hopefully I'll get it by December with no shipping issues. Watch all the firmware updates for the printer.
I would like to see over time if they do hardware changes like the K1 Max. Pretty happy with the K1 Max so far but a bit hesitant to invest in a new design considering how many changes the Max went through after I bought it.
i got the k1c just from these reviews as i had the ender 3 max which was a disappointment so i almost went bambu but heard there fussy with other companies filament in them but i love my k1c but i now want the k2 plus for that multi color printing and the fact its larger so it can print full size helmets without having to split in multiple pieces.
Regarding the z-banding. I hope it really is just the slicer, but I'm skeptical. How much wobble is in the bed since it only has two lead screws and is primarily stabilized with linear rods? All of the rods/bearings I have had from Creality have quite a bit of play in them and cannot be adjusted ( there is no spring (or set screw) for applying tension between the mount and the bearing ). Also, please test the CFS at heights lower than 0.2mm.
Does this model have warped beds too like the K1 Max? Require a lot of messing with the lead screws to get it level and a glass to stop the warping of the bed surface?
That's what im hoping for! The k2 plus is a good printer in that its stacked with next gen features, in fact its the most feature rich consumer model on the market now, but the layer shift problem is a big issue for people like me who don't want to troubleshoot a problem in a 1,500$ printer.
In regards to the Captain America shield, would it have been possible to change the support colors so that it prints with one default color or whatever the color of the current layer is rather than printing with the color of print above the respective support? Or would that effort be wasted compared to the actual time and filament saved? Sorry for not wording that better...
Me too. For me, it’s that Bambu have already proven themselves with the A1. The fact that I can’t tell the difference between a PLA print printed on my X1 Carbon and the way cheaper and newer AND bed-slinging A1 makes me believe that their insanely good prints and ease of use are consistent in their tiers. I have no reason to believe that this won’t continue when they scale things up.
I know you mostly do PLA prop stuff, but do you know if the fumes from ASA or ABS are any better than a P1S or X1C? I personally own both and they are great machines, but when I need to make functional stuff and I feel ABS or ASA are better materials for the project, I always dread starting the print. I've resorted to putting tape around the door and turning the chamber cooling fan on, and it seems to help, but not ideal as it lowers the enclosure temperature which makes my parts more likely to warp. I have been considering a bento box. But with the bigger build volume, the heated chamber, and the air filter of the K2+, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't highly interested. I'd also be interested to see a follow up video a few months down the line to see if the heated bed has any warping. I believe I saw someone indicating that Prusa went with a multipart bed to prevent this issue on such large build volume with the XL.
I’m pretty sure Orca doesn’t support multicolor for the K2 yet; another RUclipsr said as much in their K2 video anyway. I’m sure it will soon though, but I’ve noticed it usually takes a while for them to update stuff like when new filament types come out from Bambu. Whenever I’m using a brand new filament from Bambu, I always have to go back to Bambu Studio for a while until Orca updates lol
Something else I thought about just now, if you put additional dessicant packs in the CFS, will that in turn add to the effectiveness of moisture control inside the CFS? Wondering because I'm in coastal NC and it gets VERY humid in the summer, averages about 85% and my voron v0 already has issues with the abs that I run through it.
As much as RUclipsrs make this thing look great, I'm still hesitant. I was told the K1 Max was great too, that was a damn lie. I bought one for over $1,000 CAD and the VFA on the thing is absurd, the bed is a bloody taco, the tool head design makes nozzle swaps ridiculously difficult for no reason, immediately had to print parts to fix the drag chain issues, the wires to the tool head are already wearing out from the cable chain itself rubbing on them. The issues seem to never end with this thing, not to mention the terrible bed levelling.
Hi Frank, thanks for all your detailed reviews and tutorials I really enjoyed them 😊 .. just need your advice on something, I'm new to 3d printing and about to purchase my 1st printer and planned to purchase "K2 plus combo" but from a lot of videos that I watched lately there is an issue (in my point of view) in print quality when printing multi-color model compared to "X1 Carbon" .. as what I see X1 Carbon has way better detaild and smooth surface, K2 Plus prints has some artifact, shifts and visible defects around the leyars that has many colors compared to X1 Carbon .. as I see there is no issue when printing one color the quality is very good but I'm afraid if there is an issue with multi-color print and to be hardware issue not just software update or print parameters .. so what you recommend, buy K2 plus Combo or X1 Carbon for better multi-color prints?
Thanks for the review, that is odd that on camera the quality of the single colour red hood prints are a lot better than the CFS prints, I still want t see what Bambu have to offer, being very picky on my next printer as I rushed to upgrade my Ender 3 Pro and missed out on good deal with a Bambu, by no means is the CR-10 Smart Pro a bad printer it’s just slow and I board with sorting out 1st layer issues.
Powering down Bed drop, is that from gravity only, or is it forced down. Maybe print an x brace to keep it higher, unless it is forced down from the control. love your videos.. huge contributor.
Hello great video s for beginners thanks I have one question for you I can’t decide which one is good for beginner. I wanna print some droids and helmets you suggestion is this device or bambu ?
I'm not sure but I think you forgot to weigh the x1 poop with the supports, but you weighed the k2 poop with the supports. So the waste weight might be closer to each other.
Can you talk a bit about advantages or disadvantages of using the multi-color prints vs. single color and then painting? When or why would you choose one option over the other? I see some up-side in avoiding having to do the messy/smelly painting, but it seems to come at a substantial wasted material cost with all the poop generated from the color changes.
Im looking to upgrade my first printer (QIDI XMAX2) and this thing is checking all the boxes for me. A little apprehensive switching brands but QIDI and Bambu are dragging there feet.
To me the AMS will always just be Palette since Mosaic came up with it first. XD That thing was ahead of it's time back in 2015. Cool to see though just getting the hang of the K1C myself I just got. Contemplating looking into upgrading the speeds of my Ender 3's to match the K1 but might just resell and upgrade to help uniform the shop. Though the K1C's AI doesn't pick up blockages from what I've experienced. With the USB slot mounted on the side can get some 90 degree USB adapters btw. Guilty of doing that with other printers I have as I'd rather have the USB port on the front.
@@FranklyBuilt May not have worked but was still the first. Kind of like how the chips in our credit cards and Micro SD cards were reverse engineered from Blockbuster's Pokemon Snap cards still gotta give credit to the original creator even if a failure. XD
Would be more cool to hear about what real practicality it has in printing more than play fun in PLA. How is it with CF and TPU? How does it perform with Wood PLA?
I think that Z banding issue stems from the CFS. like it might be an issue with the spools. Enraged rabbit carrot feeder has a "buffer spool" to fix z baning on large prints.
I'm trying to decide between this one and the bambo. My hangup is crealitys support and updates. My first and current printer is the ender 5 plus and it hasn't be3n a great experience. I can't even update to the newest software because it's so buggy.
What about the Creality app to control the printer, is it still the same as the K1? I got 2 Bambu Lab P1Ps currently and I find myself using the Bambu Handy app very often to restart prints from print history. Last time I checked the reviews for Creality K1 printers I was really put off by how messy the app looked, with ads all over the place, looking more like a (Temu) webshop than a way to control the printer.

You're killing me! LOL I just bought the FlashForge AD5X, and now pulled the trigger on this K2 Plus combo. Glad I have no debts :D :D
Thank you for the advice. I still wish I did spend the extra buck and got the K2 cfs but went for the K1 max. I hope they upgrade it to use multi color system
Cant wait for the AMS comparison. Glad i thought of the idea :)
I ordered mine the night it was released. Im still new at 3d printing I. Sure it will have a learning curve just like my k1max. I have e heard that alot of the printers are having issues printing silks. looking forward to your next video. I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you.
omg that CFS easy maintenance thing for the filament breaks would be soooooooo handy
Great information Frank. Thanks for the video. I’m gonna hold out for the next Bambu and hope it has a solution to the filament waste on color changes along with those LONG print times.
Lets hope 2 tool heads with preloading filament for next switch 🙏
This is looking awesome! Got a p1s and just bought a k1 max looking forward to using cfs with it!
Bought it as kickstarter for 750 and it works great, have to see what time does but for now its the best ready to go printer you can get.
Incredible video man I was waiting for this 😂 btw keep up the brilliant work
Got one coming in Saturday moving up from a K1Max, thanks for the video 🔥
It feels like the Creality and Anycubic printers are like the cheaper version of bambu lab printers.
any update on this?
I just want the cfs to work for the k1 max. That 1499 price is definitely worth it for everything
I asked bambu about the heated chamber on the p1s because there is an output on the board and a software setup for it. They said they explored it and even with nylon it isnt needed. They said they found their printers actually need to vent heat most of the time.
Would love to see some example prints with flat sides. 👍
Curved surfaces make it a lot harder to see how it will do with surface quality and more functional prints and such
0:27 9oo😊😊😊pp😅😅😅😅😅😅
I think the killer features are the auto calibration related stuff with flow, belt tension, etc.
I can’t believe they finally made this and one day I will have one
The CFS seem neat. Hope it really come for the K1 max.
Also, please get a better table.
Printer Quality: 9.2/10
Printer Features and capabilities: 9.7/10 (350mm^3, 350 C extruder with 140 C bed and 60 C ambient active enclosure heating, 600 mm/s print speed, 30,000 mm/s^2 acceleration, 2x cameras to identify failed prints (1 on extruder, 1 on side) but I've heard the one on the extruder isn't great (a print already failed and messed up the extruder/heat block from a reddit post), etc)
Printer reliability: 9.1/10 (if the extruder camera failure detection rate goes up and the slicer gets a bit better, I will come back and update this to likely around a 9.7/10)
Printer cost for performance: 9.9/10 if you use it's full potential, 8.7/10 for regular consumers. The regular size is 6x6x2.5 inches which comfortably sits, but many of my models are 30-32 mm and thus I'm biting the bullet and printing a larger size, as well as some car exhausts out of PETG and PA6 to test if they can handle the heat (we live in Texas, if it survives here, it'll survive just about anywere)
Note: My Pre-order price was $1200+tax (free S&H) w/ CFS.
I'm one of the earlybird buyers so hopefully I'll get it by December with no shipping issues. Watch all the firmware updates for the printer.
Frank are u recommended buy this printer for daily used?
I would like to see over time if they do hardware changes like the K1 Max. Pretty happy with the K1 Max so far but a bit hesitant to invest in a new design considering how many changes the Max went through after I bought it.
i got the k1c just from these reviews as i had the ender 3 max which was a disappointment so i almost went bambu but heard there fussy with other companies filament in them but i love my k1c but i now want the k2 plus for that multi color printing and the fact its larger so it can print full size helmets without having to split in multiple pieces.
If you could pick only one would you pick this or the X1C combo?
is this a good pick for my first printer?
0:07 you should make a 3D printed Capentopod table!!!
I've got a QIDI Q1 Pro, which I like, But I'm looking at the K2 Plus build size. Thank you for the review. Subscribed.
Waiting on my preorder one still, hope it ships soon
Im pretty sure the 2k has a longer hotend so it has to purge more leading to a bit more waste
Frank bought my second K1 Max....love it. Maybe K2 in my future ❤. Thanks buddy
I barely got my A1 last week!
Bambu gonna come back with something good next!
That's what im hoping for! The k2 plus is a good printer in that its stacked with next gen features, in fact its the most feature rich consumer model on the market now, but the layer shift problem is a big issue for people like me who don't want to troubleshoot a problem in a 1,500$ printer.
Thanks for the informative video! The 350 size would be really helpful for printing my custom board game inserts. I have a K1 Max right now.
In regards to the Captain America shield, would it have been possible to change the support colors so that it prints with one default color or whatever the color of the current layer is rather than printing with the color of print above the respective support? Or would that effort be wasted compared to the actual time and filament saved? Sorry for not wording that better...
ill continue to wait on Bambu to release a larger printer.
Is it the ecosystem?
Just had my K2 delivered in the UK, what would be cool now is a series build of something cool on the K2😊
Is it possible with the CFS that the printer automatically continues printing with the next or a specific filament roll when a roll is empty?
Bambo lab or creality ? What is the best choice?
Is it worth waiting for the newly announced flagship Bambu printer or get this or a Prusa XL?
Wait for my video next Saturday
Where did they announced it?
At least its not an Elegoo
Did u get any results on if the slicer of the one u did the review on was faulty or if they all come out like that?
K1 max is on sale for 12 hours debating on getting it or save for the K2 plus
Do you have an ETA on the multi-color printers round up?
Powering down Bed drop, is that from gravity only, or is it forced down. Maybe print an x brace to keep it higher, unless it is forced down from the control. love your videos.. huge contributor.
It’s just gravity
I agree with this guy said I hate levelling beds 😂
Hello great video s for beginners thanks
I have one question for you I can’t decide which one is good for beginner. I wanna print some droids and helmets you suggestion is this device or bambu ?
Creality: “We don’t do it amazing but we certainly do it bigger for a fair price.”
I'm not sure but I think you forgot to weigh the x1 poop with the supports, but you weighed the k2 poop with the supports. So the waste weight might be closer to each other.
Happy holidays!
My first printer is the k2plus now to just wait for it to show up ordered before black Friday been watch all your videos afterwards
Thanks! Does the paneling scratch easily? This is the 3rd review I've seen with scratches around where the screen is mounted
Oh it’s smudges. I still have the plastic on it too
Iron man helmets are super in focus
Santa Frank, can we just get a P1P XL with 300x300x300 print bed for Christmas? 🤣
I mean. That’s 100% up to the user
Im looking to upgrade my first printer (QIDI XMAX2) and this thing is checking all the boxes for me. A little apprehensive switching brands but QIDI and Bambu are dragging there feet.
never, but never point anything sharp or not towards your body. nice review it help my decision thank you very much.
Hahaha, you convinced me to buy a Bambu P1S at the Polaris 😂 but I don't regret it, was a proper upgrade from my Ender
Yeah but the Palette never worked lol
@@FranklyBuilt May not have worked but was still the first. Kind of like how the chips in our credit cards and Micro SD cards were reverse engineered from Blockbuster's Pokemon Snap cards still gotta give credit to the original creator even if a failure. XD
I got a K1 max but right after I got it the K2 plus released so should I return it and get the K2 plus or is it not that big of a difference?
Would be more cool to hear about what real practicality it has in printing more than play fun in PLA. How is it with CF and TPU? How does it perform with Wood PLA?
That’s not really the purpose or focus of my channel. Plenty of other 3d printing RUclipsrs who cover that.
I think that Z banding issue stems from the CFS. like it might be an issue with the spools. Enraged rabbit carrot feeder has a "buffer spool" to fix z baning on large prints.
i really want to buy the K2 but im holding out for Bambu... im a Prusa fanboy, but there's no way they are catching up with the small core release.
Cant wait to receive this beast.Lets see on the next video Orca vs Creality print ok K2...
Hey Frank interested to see your thoughts on the sovol sv08. Ive been burned by creality twice on printers so im looking cor larger but this one just doesnt seem worth the price tag
It’s way way worse. I wait for my best printer of 2023 video next Saturday
Great review as always. I got the cr 10 v2 pro since you recomended it and i was interested in this one but yeah a little bit too expensive maybe? Idk, lets w8 for the babu and compare both but at this rate I'll finish my lich king armor by the time bambu releases their bigger formar printer haha
Again, grear video as always 👌
I think the multi head printer is still the best option for multicolor printer
I will get it for my christmas and birthday i was shocked at price until now i noticed its almost newly released printer
You could have used another material for support interface on Cap. America shield
Have ever looked at any Raise3d printers? They seem like they are good quality.
Hi Frank, what filament did you use for the flexi-rex at 10:04?
I think it’s CoolkieCAD
@@FranklyBuiltAh tysm! i was assuming cookiecad witchcraft because you mentioned it before, great looking filament. couldn’t get one due to stock issues yet. love your content always!
For the cms and reviews for others, do all spools fit and spin when the lid is closed? Half of the brands I use are too tall for bamboo ams
I’ve never had a spool big for the AMS. That’s wild
There’s a running list of brands that don’t work if you search for it. I don’t know if Atomic has changed but their older spools don’t. 3d-fuel has acknowledged it in email and are making adjustments as they produce new spools going forward
