WoW, when you think it can't get any better in a review video, you see this video. From A to Z perfect explanation, attention to details and throughout the whole video remarks that make sense. Then you have all the recommendations throughout the video, also explained in detail. For me, this has to be the new standard in doing a review of any product. And I was looking for a review of this printer, and you answered every thinkable question anyone could have about this printer in one video! Great job sir!
I will check your recent videos to see if you've covered more about the bed mesh issue. I have 2 of Ender 3 V3 Plus printers. I actually love them! But, one shows the bed mesh as being very level, and the other one is literally opposite to yours, in that the left side is lower (blue) and the right side is higher. On that higher side, there's also a bit of a peek in the middle of the mesh (highest point). At that point, Z is about 0.45. I'm not sure if that's bad or not. I've run the input shaping and bed leveling a few times, in 2 experiments, one with the plate textured side up and the other, smooth side up. No difference in the mesh. As I'm totally new to Creality machines and especially the design of this one, I'm not sure where to even start to resolve this. As for the prints, what got me to even look at the bed mesh, was that the 1st layer has some consistent "waves" in it. But once a few layers are laid down, the end result does seem to smooth out some. Again, since these printers are new to me and they don't have the lead screw to adjust things, I'm not sure about checking the belt tensions. For one thing, I have no way, other than feel, to know if the tension is the same on both. Any ideas??
I had the crappie print the first 3 prints but I think it burns the chemicals on the nozzle and whatever and prints better because when I replaced the hot-end I got crappie prints again in till it broke in
I could not find the stl for the fake runout sensor in your links, could you please add it to the makerworld pages for the V3 and V3 Plus? Edit: it's there when you go to download individual files
Hey if you click the download STL file in maker world you'll see it's already in the individual part list: makerworld.com/en/models/499405#profileId-415093 I just need to update the picture on the listing as it still only shows the original two parts. Thanks!
I am abit late to reply to this, but between this printer, the Ender 3 KE, and the BambuLabs A1, whouch would you personally recommend to someone who it just starting out their FDM 3D printing journey. I have been looking around and these 3 have caught my eyes.
the dummy sensor runout guide where can we find that file please? i just one of these but am based in south africa so cannot buy as shipping is beyond expensive
All of the printable accessory parts like runout sensor holder specific for the V3 PLUS shown in this video can be found here: makerworld.com/en/models/499405#profileId-415093 and you can find links to other printable parts for other applications here: embracemaking.com/blogs/resources/universal-top-mount-spool-stand-accessories-and-adapters Thanks!
The bottom right of my screen just says slice plate or print plate. there isnt a LAN printing option. do I have to toggle it on somewhere? I tried to go to the help and type in a topic but it just pulls up MACos help articles. thanks
If you look at that green button in the bottom right corner, you should see an arrow on the right side of the button. Click the arrow to get the other options like LAN, export to local, etc.
Ender 3 Pro owner here and the main reason for going with the V3 plus was because I’ve had such a positive experience with my ender 3 Pro… I may be an exception, but it’s been a great printer. With that said, I just ordered the V3 plus so we’ll see how it goes

Wow, thanks! Hope you come back for more :) I have more printer videos on the way and maybe one day Bambu Lab will send me an X1C 😀
I've been running a Ender 3 Pro for years, now I have one of these and its incredible
With the latest Creality Print 5.1 it's been a great addition for me
Same! Big leap ahead thats for sure.

Amazingly detailed video!!
Glad you liked it!
sorry I am old and senile where can I get the top mount kit you showed
No problem! Link is here: embracemaking.com/products/universal-top-mount-spool-stand thanks!
I have both the 3v3 and the plus and have seen much better results using creality filament
I had the same results as seen in this video - the Hyper PLA was the best on this machine
Hi! What is the name of the extension cable that you use to move the runout sensor? I have been trying to find one on ebay to no avail.
They are jst-xh connectors, 3 pin
@@EmbraceMaking thank you so much for replying 😊

@@EmbraceMaking ya no LAN option, even while monitoring a print. just upload, export, print etc. thanks for the help though.
Honestly I don't know why anyone buys Creality's products at this point? So many better options out there.
Honestly I don't see what qualifies you to speak so if you haven't even used all yourself. V3 Plus is awesome for me
@@crusader-hcq I had an Ender 3 v2 and it was nothing but a nightmare, thank you very much.
@@gcmehojahyeah same. Got the v3 plus and it is a huge step up. Print speed is insane
