Made by Magnus Hellebust. Based on characters created by George Lucas.
Stay tuned for more Star Wars animations, next project based on: REVENGE OF THE SITH. I will be posting renders, scenes and teasers for upcoming projects on: / hellebustcg

This is a non-profit, unofficial fan-film that is not intended for commercial use. It was made for the love of star wars. Characters are owned by Lucasfilm/Disney and this fan-series is not connected in any way to said companies.
Absolutely love when Star Wars fan filmmakers say fuck it and just use the actual Star Wars soundtrack not caring about copyright claims. Love all the mixing and track choices!
I don’t know all the details but Lucas actually supports fan films and allows the use of Star Wars sounds
@@briangrayson2805 Does Disney too?
It's all fair on RUclips as long as you ain't making money on there copyright
Wants to speak to the Star Wars manager 🤣
I use the theme song for first contact to open my videos for RUclips when I play star trek and their policy is as long as its non profit and that I'm not make money on their music it say copyright found but the owner allows it to be used on RUclips as long as that is showing and your not making money off that music or sounds you can't be charged or suited for using the copyright. As you are not making any kinda profit form their material.
Awesome work!
The idea of being a rebel prisoner when Vader is angrier than usual and wanting to lash out is genuinely terrifying.
Yeah personally I probably would have made assumptions and tried to provoke the troopers to kill me as soon as I saw that ship coming in to land.
@@MrMikellsof88 then why not meet the Darth in person and spit on his helmet?you die anyway.
@@MrMikellsof88 Your last grenade is not for the enemy...
This masterpiece gives Empire strikes back fr 🔥👌
Vader almost certainly wouldn’t just slaughter Rebel prisoners on Yavin 4 with no other objective in mind. He would have them interrogated first, trying to discover where their ships had fled to.
Love the mix from the New Hope soundtrack to the Empire Strikes Back soundtrack. Very well done.
Vader coming back for revenge is great, Always loved that starting mission from Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike where the Empire launches a massive assault on Yavin in the aftermath.
Galactic Battlegrounds also featured a similar mission playing as the Empire, we truly were blessed with so many Star Wars games over the years.
@@RoyalFusilier OG Battlefront 2 also featured a similar mission; a lot of games from back then tried to be consistent in that.
Loved the OG B2 mission!!!
@@OldCityBob One of the three missions that consistently kicked my ass. Felucia, the Jedi Temple, and Yavin.
@@cakeboss4194 Those were all tough missions. I HATED the part in the Jedi Temple where you had to protect the Archives from the Jedi.
This looks incredible. From the visuals, camera angles and the secret sauce for anything star wars related… the sound. A huge congratulations on the making of this film.
Thanks🙌🙌
I can’t remember the last time I watched something like this that FELT like Star Wars. This was outstanding. Amazing work!
Agree
agree
Learned of this fan film through Dave Cullen. He said, I'm paraphrasing, "fan films are much more authentic then anything coming from LucasFilm at the moment." It's because fan filmmakers love Star Wars; current LucasFilm does not.
agreed
"IMPRESSIVE, MOST IMPRESSIVE!" ❤ DARTH....Well done, MORE PLEASE!
This is great, definitely a big improvement compared to your last two projects.
I didn't expect the graphics to look that good. Wow. Rainy Yavin is best Yavin.
I agree 100%, but there's one small thing, it's Yavin 4, not Yavin. Yavin 4 is one of the moons of Yavin Prime.
@@thodinthorsson8028 More 'small things': The Battle of Endor should be called the 'Battle of the Sanctuary Moon'.
What's next? That's not the Deathstar it's the 'DS1 Orbital Battlestation'. LOL. I live in America. "Don't you mean North America?" *O M G*
Everything here is great, but what really stands out to me is the choice in music and the way you weaved it into the events being displayed on screen. Absolutely fantastic!
Outstanding! The music intergration with the action was spot on. I loved Yavin at night/in a storm. Most impressive!
The animation in this is stunning, great job! I can’t wait to see what you work on next!
A short fan film gets the tone, tenor, and pace with all the glorious John Williams music right while KK and BI run the IP into the ground.
Awesome job! It only took 47 years to know how DV was found after the battle...fast action, great graphics...kudos! Thanks for posting it...your time and effort is appreciated...!
Vader's TIE Advanced was equipped with a hyperdrive.
"So Lord Vader, when you gonna tell me how you made it home in one piece?"
"That is classified, Gunnery Sergeant."
"Hrmph! My ass! Well you can forget those adjustments to your lightsaber-"
“Somehow… Darth Vader returned.”
I also like the Family Guy account, where he is stuck in his suit in space for two weeks and calls Palpatine.
At the end of the original 1977 cut Vader gets his TIE under control and he is seen flying off under full power. Though he could have had an engine malfunction afterwards which left him drifting.
this was awesome, people like this should be the ones in charge of the lucas legacy not the shills in hollyweird.
10/10 would recomend.
Awesome. The way you managed to fit your story to the musics is amazing.
Also, the idea of the tractor beam for Vader's TIE is a great one.
Amazing job! Loved the sense of scale and movement of every ship. In my opinion they do not use to get it right on fan films but you did it!
Also the lighting and look of the planets! I hope it gets many views and appreciation from fans. You deserve it!
“ Arise Lord Vader”
Excellent work
This was amazing! Well done!
I felt the magic of the OG Star Wars trilogy in this one.
Absolutely impeccable!
The explosions in space were phenomenal!
The environments look very very good! Also the lighting is on point! Can't wait to see what you work on next!
Highly appreciated!
and the search for new rebel base starts all over again... love it , thank U for this 🙂
I always wanted to see a project regarding the evacuation of the yavin base. Great job!
Dude, This was actually really good!!!! I want more 😃💙
Awesome, thank you for doing such a wonderful job.
This is GOLD SQUAD! Even with a slight and welcome retcon (originally, Vader just jumped into hyperspace after he managed to stabilize his tie-fighter), you brilliantly mixes the atmospheres of Episodes IV and V, as well as the Vader we all want to see.
Perhaps one way to show the hardship Vader went through (and which above all shows our favorite sith's irritation afterwards) would be to show him staggering out of the smoke-filled cockpit of his damaged tie-fighter.
Your video undoubtedly presents us with a good Star War, in a more satisfying way than much recent canonical material. It brings true TESB and NH vibes. Love the intense imperial march!
I'm pretty certain we saw Vader flying away from the destroyed Death Star at high speed, but his TIE Advanced was never shown jumping to hyperspace in the aftermath.
I love how it's accurate to the Star Wars universe and can really fit into the Canon
Star wars isn't dead.We don't need Disney for content when fans keep making short films
Vader sounds good. Good video all around. Nicely done.
This has more Star Wars feeling than the disney movies.
Yep!
Like-bait ahhh comment
If my dad watches this, it's going to blow his mind... yep, that's what's gonna happen, 'cos it's blown mine. Oh my god!! I've not felt like this since Rogue One!! MAGNIFICENT WORK!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Looks really good! I love how you put in some of the old Star Wars Battlefront music.
To be fair, it's not really battlefront music, it's all from the movies lol
This seriously might be the best SW Fan Film I have ever seen! So realistic looks just like the OG Trilogy!
Puts Disney to shame. At the risk of sounding like an absolute nerd, the force is strong with this clip!
Amazing! WE WANT MOOOORE 🔥
The fans are doing the best work!
Fantastic! Beautiful!
Great Job with the music it hits so right
This is what I was wanting in the theatres....this IS star wars !!!!
Awesome stuff, thank you!
Excellent work! One of the best Star Wars themed fan films I've seen! Compliments!
Great job! Yavin looked amazing🤌🤌
A cut of this would have been a fantastic way to start Empire Strikes Back.
The use of the score was impeccable. Good short film that kept the real Star Wars feel which is most important.
I want to say thank you for creating this masterpiece. This is better than the crap Disney is pushing out.
Magnificent!
Impressive ! Very well written and the CGI are awesome. Congratulations !
Once again a fan made a better film in his bedroom than a multi-million dollar studio can do with worldwide resources
I wouldn't call this a film, more like a trailer. There's technically no story.
Sad but true the soul this fan made short film has
Jesus just hush and enjoy the film
Compenies care more about The MESSAGE
Can’t you just enjoy the film without crying and complaining about Disney and the whole complaint that we have heard for like a 10,000 times from purists fans?
Congratulations! Im convinced George Lucas would proudly agree the Force is Strong with this One..!
See Disney? It aint so hard.
It definitely isn't hard when you make something with next to no storyline, and you just copy all the best shots from the original trilogy.
Do you say that because of Disney or a 8 minute fan film?😅
Very nicely done. Great to see these fan films help fill some of the gaps.
i loved it great work bravo
I love it!!!
I love it!!!
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!
The entire thing was so brilliant! Picking up where the action left off after Han and Chewy out flanked Vaders Tie Fighter attack on Luke just before they destroyed the Death Star and caused him to lose control of his space craft and go spinning into deep, dark space, only to reemerge in The Empire Strikes Back!
You filled that void between the ending of A New Hope and the beginning of Empire Strikes Back!
Wonderful story and excellent movie
More immediately please
Loved the use of shadows and how showed the use of shields without them being seen.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! Great work!🎉🎉🎉
Better than this Disney Star Wars Shit on every level...
Love this!!
It would've been cool if there was a scene at the end where Vader interrogates the remaining rebels and discovers that the young rebel who destroyed the Death Star was Luke Skywalker.
As long as content like this is created, Star Wars is still very much alive!
Heck yeah! More on the way
Brilliantly done. Got the look and feel just right. And the opening shot of the Death Star debris field was a clever touch.
A lot of people are doing really good with animation. I really like these types of films.
Great camera work and animations and the music really sets the vibe and makes it Star Wars, great work!!
When a fan film is more entertaining and interesting than current garbage produced. Felt mystery and wonder as I watched it.
Amazing work! Loved it!!! Thank you guys!!!
Such a FANTASTIC fan film this is please keep doing what you do and May the Force be with you! 👏👏
Nice job!! This all looked great! And cool story as well!
This short video is fantastic and better than the three Disney films. Great video thak you
Excellent job! The Vader voice was very well done too!
Thank you, very entertaining, very enjoyable. Fantastic work.
You and all who participated did fantastic!!
Well done bro, great piece of work you made there!!
This was an awesome video I loved the way Vader didn't even say anything and just took out his Lightsaber
if only they made movies like this,,, what ever happened in between the original movies.. love this!!!
AMAZING LOVED THIS - STORY CHANGES COMPLETELY
Love that Vadar is the boss the goes hands on when needed.
Please keep this up, independent filmmakers. Take back what’s rightfully ours.
Well done. You capture the spirit of the OT very well in this.
At 4:04 when the tie fighters start chasing the rebel caravan is my favorite Star Wars song. It reminds me of Shadows of The Empire on the junk yard planet when you fight IG-88. Good times, better times.
This was very well done, thank you!
Wow this is cool, well done to all who worked on this. 👍 👏
Outstanding. You really captured the feel of the original trilogy 👏🏻
Great rendition. I thought I was watching an actual movie. I really like the realism of this. Keep up the good work.
That was very cool! A period of the story overlooked! Excellent piece 🧩 to the puzzle! 😎😎👍👍
Its so great that we get fan films with MOST of them using stories from the original movies or E1-3. I have yet to see anything that anyone would base off E7-9. Great job with this one and look forward to more!
EXCELLENT JOB!! I LOVED IT!! I always wondered what might have happened immediately after Star Wars
Great animation! Interesting story line. Surprising how fast ISD's arrived. (the correct class for ANH) I always thought that Vader's TIE's hyperdrive was still functioning and he hauled ass out of there! Yes eventually Imperial forces would arrive, but the Rebels had enough time to hold an awards ceremony!
The fans are making the best Star Wars everything now. Fan made is the way to go now.
This was awesome!! Great idea and great execution!!
DAMN that's one scary scene at the ending! Also I love the shot Vader's ship is descending towards the planet! Well done, I'll add it to my list of great fan flims!
This is far better than all the recent star wars tv series and movies which Disney produced. Great job, Hardman! the Force lives on with your support!
The Music and Sounddesign are the best of all the Star Wars Fan Film´s so far! I LOVE IT!!!
This was cool, great job!
This is million times better Acolyte. Great job
better than most Disney SW productions
Wow this so awesome wish you could do the whole movie like this i just glad i am old enough to see all the movies in the theater
Absolutely outstanding! I am so thankful for all of your hard work!! This is truly first class!! SO Happy!!!
That's damn good work! You are to be commended for this!
Great animated film! really was fun and intense, very good quality music and audio mixed in
Very impressive! Great job and I hope you do more.
Dude the soundtrack was perfect, like seriously 10/10!
Thanks!! The soundtrack was the first thing i worked on. Made the scenes for the score.
