RU been down for months so last 2-3 thumbs we just made up the placements to keep the theme (Though it actually just came up again under a different domain)

That combo in the beginning is sick and actually something that can happen off a match (universe dandy H) I started labbing that immediately and now I wanna know that other starters can get that

6:36 Actually it does have invul frame 1-6 which puts it on par with tbe heavy backdashes but, it still feels ass compared to it 1-20 invul in previous games.

It might be easier. Do the special motion, return to nuetral, dash macro, jump, hit the special's button. Or if the special ends in forward you don't have to do the return to nuetral input.
I figure you could grab him when he crosses up with that command-crossup move? Just like every other character that has that?(Millia, chip, ino, leo, sin... )

So, I have a few things I know with this character that are worth mentioning. First off you can super jump cancel his dash

I have seen so many people spam that stupid forward punch that hits twice and the purple attack and then do those both back to back and it frame traps you if you block it. It's obnoxious af. I believe it's close slash and normal slash. I'm not 100% sure though

For people who are struggling to play against slayer's mappa hunch you can 6p it but it is hard to time so if you miss time the 6p you can get hit. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
i believe he'll have trouble against characters like Axl and Faust if he ends up not being all that good.

Unga bunga pilebunker mappa hunch. But in all seriousness, idk I faired pretty well against Bridget and Bedman who I find to be more aggressive and annoying than Testament. As a former Test main, I don’t think slayer would struggle unless he gets stuck in a neutral loop or bounced by overheads. Then again, I don’t play many fighting games and I’m rather ass at Guilty Gear so take me with a grain of salt.

A reminder to Strive players that GG Strive has not been a competitive game for 3 years. The whole meta in this game is cheap brainrot gorillas or broken characters with autopilot mod for 3 seasons in a row. Balance simply doesn't exist
