I have been playing the piano for 60 years. If I played for another 60, I would still not be able to play this etude like he does. Bravo Sir!
It made me cry...This etude is beyond the imagination...it is made of pure magic.
Me too ! there is something in this etude i cant explain
Wspaniałe i ponadczasowe. Ta muzyka będzie zachwycać wiecznie. Dzieło stuleci i symbol naszego narodu polskiego ❤️
ONLY CHOPIN COULD compose an etude of this magnificence!!!
Listening to this performance gives me so much emOCEANs
haha good one!
Well done sir!😂
Words cannot justify how beautiful this rendition is.
I thoroughly agree!!! It’s an amazing performance!
All these jerks on the comment board pointing out a few tiny finger slips in this performance need to upload a video of themselves playing it live in a competition/ public performance with zero finger slubs before talking smack. They couldn’t come close to what this pianist has achieved. Also, this mindset of performances needing to be note perfect is killing classical music and needs to stop. Some of my favorite Horowitz recordings have many finger flubs in them. Give me that any day over a note perfect robot.
@@alainspiteri502 Chopin is Overrated! you all should give yourself a chance to listen Czerny Op.756 Etude 10, And Czerny Op.399 etude 10
@@czeynerpianistproducercomp7155 I feel dumber now that I've read this.
@@czeynerpianistproducercomp7155 but a piece doesn't need difficulty to be beautiful
@@czeynerpianistproducercomp7155 missing the point! This performance is very well played in terms of interpretation, lots of good use of dynamics. Sure some mistakes but I personally do not give a flying f*ck as long as the musicality is good.
Also this one is not known to be the hardest of the Chopin etudes, people often say it is opus 10 nr. 1 which I personally do not agree with either as I am currently learning it and it is much easier than I expected.
Czerny I know is often difficult but melodically is usually boring and as such you will not hear it in concerts whereas the Chopin ones are played regularly as they are simply beautiful and fifficult.
@@czeynerpianistproducercomp7155 you have a right to your opinion but you could be a bit more classy about it as well as keep it as an opinion rather than trying to state it as fact as most well informed music historians and pianists will disagree with that thoroughly.
Personally I find Mozart boring, doesn't usually touch me. Doesn't make him inferior or whatnot to me, its just not my taste.
Great use of dynamics. So many pianists just pound out the notes and forego any idea of musicality, well done!
the one who has not practiced op25 no12 before never ever understand how perfect this performance is.
I've played 25/12 and this is not by any means that perfect, not bad, but very far from perfect. To start with, the base line melody is not enough noticeable while too many accompanying notes are listened. Good tempo though, clean enough, that's not bad of course but, "perfect"?
@@Ala13ManOWar The accompanying notes can create character, so it's not necessarily a bad trait.
lol ok mate, he made infinite mistakes
This isnt bad but Perahia, Pollini and Sokolov do this one so much better with this etude..
Have played this myself. He was not good.
Eventhough there are some mistakes I really like his passion and dynamics , the worst thing you can do with this masterpiece is playing it like machine without any mistakes but also without emotion so let's forgive him some of the mistakes
Yes I heard a few minor slips, but it’s doesn’t matter as the whole performance was magical!
Wonderful Version from Frederick Chopin Master Daniel,
Congratulations !!!!
This is beautiful. so emotional - exactly how I imagine Chopin's to sound!
Love that arch in the hand. Amazing! Live performance too. The level of playing here is legendary. Bravo!
Most musical version of this etude I've ever heard. Never knew it could sound so beautiful!
listen from idil biret
listen to sokolov
I've been playing this piece for over 50 years but hearing this performance is like hearing it for the first time. Superb expression and impeccable technique. I would love to hear Daniel play the Polonaise in F# minor opus 44.
The next Tchaikovsky Competition will be in June 2019. I believe Daniel would have excellent winning chances with a titanic, no holds barred, account of Rachmaninoffs 3rd Piano Concerto or the Prokofiev 2nd.
This performance resonates volumes for me! It's passionate, poetic and assured!
He is AMAZING! Really, congratulations! This is such a hard piece to perform
Daniil..., you are absolutely fantastic, no other words. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome interpretations. It is really a great pleasure to listen to your music.
So beautiful melody 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹✨✨
One of the most flowing passionate takes on this piece I have ever heard And he's only 17?
Agreed
The best interpretation of this piece, i ve heard so far!
you need to hear lang lang
@@brandonsanchez398 Pollini is better, my opinion
Listen from idil biret , the best interpretation you will see
Polini and Sokolov.
Piękno muzyki Fryderyka Chopina to fenomen graniczący z cudem ❤️
Sounds awesome. I was at the hall on 27th June in Korea. Loved your performance there.
Genius!
Wowwwww! I wanna play like this.
Wow, very nice playing
Every nuance is pronounced, such a wonderful exhibition and what an handsome guy Daniel is! Your career is set, young Sir!
Bellisima interpretacion, Daniel! Muchas gracias!
The colurs of the pice was flowing around the room while he was playin even though it was a recording, it is the best chopin etude no.24 I have ever listened.
different of others except Alfred Cortot ( 1933 ) All pianists play the same thing for me , with Kharitonov it's a song
Awesome and complete performance, I felt like when I was reading a classical masterpiece 📚!!
I really enjoy and admire your such natural, elegant, sensitive, yet passionate- in one word GORGEOUS - interpretation and performance. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😊👍🏼
I learned this piece a few months ago and although I could play around 120 bpm I hit the ceiling and hadn’t played much.
Finding this video a few days ago and listening to it over and over inspired me, and made me go back to this piece and I am really enjoying it. I especially loved your buildup of the last long section where you expressed it with such deep emotion and expressive dynamics. 🙏🏼
Splendid as ever !
outrageous, wonderful and above all: PASSION! BRAVO!
Hermosa interpretacion, Chopin estaria feliz de oirla!
You're the best pianist and forever
Great job! I love your dynamics, beautiful emotion!
Beautiful performance, Daniel! Allegro molto, con fuoco. Very happy, with fire. Greetings from Czech republic!
Very very nice, pasion and dedication!!!
Your mistakes don't win it to you great interpretation...beautiful...magnific job!. I love this piece with Trifonov, Kissin, Pollini and you.
difference is that with all pianists op25-12 is not a melody , only Kharitonov plays it as a melody , lyrical pianist others plays the same thing in fact
listen from idil biret too , you will fall in love
WONDERFUL play Daniel Kharitonov , thanks a lot maestro !
Stunning rendition, Daniil - expecting great things from you in the years ahead!
The base melody was handled well, I really felt it the way he ended some of his phrases. really great
The best interpretation of this etude i have heard sofar and i was not born yesterday (last century).
yes the least worst one All others on youtube no matter how 'know they are called as if they have no ear no relation to Music Absolutely No musicians

Daniel! That was a most brilliant and extraordinary performance! It’s my favourite Chopin Etude!
Well done my friend - you captured all the nuances and melodic features and your tone production was beautiful!
Awesome! I've been trying to play this piece for over 65 yrs and don't even come close.
great great great
Just amazing! Congratulations!
Fantastic!!!
The best interpretation I could find on RUclips.. well done. I love your phrasing... very similar to what I wanna do))
Love it!
Amazing!!!!
just great!
Amazing
gorgeous...
Alejandro Aranda brought me here too! Nice to see how Alejandro holds his own on this beautiful Chopin etude. And if what he says is true that he has only been playing 4 years self taught them he’s a virtuoso not only in piano but, guitar as well, composer and songwriter Genius next level definitely 🙏👍👏🙌😱😁🌎🎹🎸.
Ocean Etude
Excelente interpretación ,,,

An exciting and dynamic performance.

Okay so this is utterly astonishing. I've just discovered this guy and have now about 30 recordings of him. I heard Richter play this live, along with Argerich, and the very early Horowitz live recordings. This is by far the best.
I know how it feels to perform at a big public music competition, you pull off your performance with far more panache than I could muster at any of my competitions :D
Bravo🎉
Great
