About third gen Firebird, you put data from TBI engine. I have 88 GTA with 305 TPI. TPI 305 engines had 215 HP and much more torque. Mine is a 5 speed and really fun to drive. Now a new TPI crate engine has been installed in my Trans Am. When everything will be done and tuned, it should have 400+ HP.

My first car in high school was the '71 Mercury Comet GT.... A sweet little muscle Jr. car.... Great though for a 16 year old kid! Over the years have had perhaps 20 muscle cars from the 60s & 70s, mostly GM cars. I really feel sorry for the youngsters now a days... Poor souls have nothing but s**t for cars... and music.

We can only change what is ours. It is impossible to change the young generation. It's a pity, isn't it?

Ah, those were the days. Today's performance cars offer better all-around performance and reliability, but they lack the character of the original muscle cars. With that said, I love both eras of Detroit's performance-orientated cars.
