Fabulous suggestion. At 200,000 miles, my wire connectors were baked in place. Using Liquid Wrench, only one of 8 came out; 7 others broke so I pulled the wires out of the body and followed your recommendation. They all came out. Thank you for saving the day!

I watched your video after the fact . What I ended up doing was breaking it up with a screwdriver and a hammer and eventually picking it out using a couple Harbor Freight pics with the O-ring it was a pain but I did get them out. Got everything changed in about two-and-a-half hours

Trick #1 is to go in through the wheel well instead of from above so you have better access.

For the passenger side yes. If you remove the air filter and relocate the de-gas bottle, everything is accessible.

Mine broke as soon as I touched them at the T. I got a couple out clean but a couple broke like yours did. I was thinking just run a deck screw in it and hit it with on blaster. Thought I would check to see if anybody else had done that

Has anyone ever tried twisting them a little before removing, to loosen them up, or is that something no one thinks of or does. Or is it not possible.

Twisting probably won't help. The o-ring sticks to the head and twisting is only rotating the plastic inside the o-ring.
