I remember my collage experiences, back in the dark ages. My first piece of advice would be to find out exactly what each professor expects of you. I had profs who would tell you, "Now , you're in college. These are essay questions on the test. I want full and complete answers! At least one or two full sentences!!" And others who were all, "Don't put down too much! Be brief! No more than a blue book per question!" But I had far more that just assumed you knew where on this spectrum they would land. The idea that surely ALL the profs did it like they did! Also, with Gen Ed classes (aka, but this has nothing to do with my major. Why am I forced to take it?), Yes, you still need to try at these. Yes, they serve no purpose other than to get you to pay more tuition and fees and make sure it takes 4 years (or in my case 8) to get a degree you could have in less if you just focused on your core studies. But, like daylight savings time, some people think they're a good idea, and they aren't going away anytime soon. And trust me. As much as you hate it now, you'll hate it even more if and when you have to RETAKE the thing again!

@@TheFlightofPheonix intro to drawing systems: its like learning about one point perspective and two point perspective (google if ur unsure what that is) so it helps with drawing backgrounds both inside rooms and outside city/landscapes! 3D design is like working with physical materials to make 3 dimensional sculptures, like we worked with clay, cardboard, etc and would go through various planning stages and helped understand structure and stuff. Hope this helped a bit! Drawing systems was one of my fav classes cuz the professor I had was so cool

Tbh I am currently in Art Fundamentals but since I have a huge medical study operation going on that keeps shifting to later months. A Sheridan Advisor suggested online electives since the program is primarily an in-person experience. But I am able to head out to VCA (Visual and Creative Arts), I am not sure if you had it before or now. But if you had, Shans, then can I have some words of advice for VCA, animation or illustration?
I transferred to the second year of VCA after art fundamentals and it's pretty much the same thing! I did both Art fundies and VCA online so I can't say what it would be like it person but it's nice and has a variety of classes to choose from
Make it like a movie or tell the old Dougherty somewhere like that or no what do people do that that’s it I imagine you need to be with you to burn down low likes
