You do very nice work and very neat. I guess the only thing I do differently is I always do my curb top before walls, I just like that detail which is like doing floors before walls and doing nitche sill first then back of niche. I noticed on the right side of curb you ran the wall tile edge schlueter all the way to ground but imo that schluter should stop at curb. Anyways in the end its a beautiful job
I've seen curbs done with the schluter strips and some curbs done without. Are there considerations you take into account when deciding wether the curb needs them such as tile size and shape, or do you always install the strips to mitigate the risk of a foot scraping on a sharp edge or perhaps a tile piece breaking off?
Please advise................. Is there a minimum height of a finished shower curb inside the shower? After preslope and sloping mud deck it doesnt leave a lot of curb?
So you do curb first then butt floor tile to that? If so I disagree because risers should always go on top of floor.. why is it more work having floors done? Because now you have to cover tiles?
