I ended up purchasing one of these in February (received it in early March) to have a backup when I decided to replace my ageing Safelife belt for work. I recently decided to finally swap my kit over and try it out, I immediately noticed the issues you brought up with the center section not being supported and the lack of velcro, casuing it to feel a bit loose. While I think it's well made, I feel like these are geared far more toward flat range and competition use moreso than duty for those issues, I ended up ordering a DM Mech Belt to replace it and regret not just ordering it in the first place.
My favorite inner belt is also my EDC belt. I am using the Ciguera Gear Emissary Belt. Great For EDC and hold my pistol all day long comfortably. The outside has Velcro loop and I can easily slap my Bison Belt to it when I hit the range.
Battle belt review channel is back! Anyways, rewiew request list because more belts are more better: Quore performance inner belt and iceplate exo carrier, Blueforce gear GRID belt with their holster adapter and tenspeed chest rig, Beez I/O belt, Shaw Concepts Usurper Belt, Aliengear and other duty holster alternatives to Safariland. And a test / comparison / showoff between all the ultra high candela lights. Surefire, Modlite, Arisaka, Malkoff,...
Imagine if Nocturne did a Tanto panonridge? It would be lighter weight and for those with neck injuries/pain a lot better than four PVS 14’s that serve the no neck battle dwarves so much better on.🤔
Glad to see you're keeping "Skip It" in business Lol how many did you actually go through with all of your testing? Also how many face palms did your other half have when you broke them lol.
I find that the direct overwrap inner belt adheres better than the reduced tail of the wrap through design unless the fit is perfect. Was worried innitially and planned on ordering a Blue Alpha inner but the HRT inner was acceptable.
There must be some tactical application of this "skip it" i bet if you get really good you would be like the bruce lee of combat in a snake pit or something 😂❤
@@ThinLineDefenseCo one of the most wildcard bludgeoning devices ever. I would probably just run away if I ever see one of those tactically deployed from a rear belt mount or something similar. Sheeesh 😂
What kind of mag pouches will work this this since no MOLLE loops on outer belt? I normally run Esstac kywis but I've not used a gen 2 belt yet and dont know what options there are for attachments
You'd use the same stuff as normal for those, you can use the Molle+ from DM, the Wilder clips, or malice clips. It's the same, you just don't have to weave it. -Walsh
stupid youtube didn't post my reply - Gen 1 is the old style normal battle belts....think ronin senshi Gen 1.5 is that older style but with tegris/curve integration. This will be your magnetix from Agilite or this Wilder option Gen 2 is full curve or tegris like the DM Mech belt or HRT ARC. Hope that helps!
The new agilite improves on the ronin design with a cool magnet attachment that also works great with a carrier. The DM mech is a new generation of belts that is lighter and a totally new design. Wilder is a more lightweight take on that style So it's more a question of what you want but we have videos on all 3 and discount codes for them all also.
I ended up geting one of these and after the first shift my hips were pretty sore. It not being supported around the buckle really lets the weight sag onto your hips after long use with a full duty load. I ordered a DM Mech to replace it, sounds sturdier so I'm hoping I have luck with that. These definitely seem more competition oriented.
@TheBigjake240 just like all these belts are pretty much the exact same thing velcro inner and outer belt and similar ways of attaching gear. But people still like to see the comparison
Shots fired at the WPS sling.
Worst Possible Sling....
Extreme Testing Regimen. I feel both optimized and synergized. Max battle belt points. I do like that the focus now is on slimming up these belts.

You had to be a Wizard for that Skip It!
Do you think the clips that you use to attach mag pouches and such will work with the DM mech belts?

haha we were both excited to see it came in an 8 pack. I broke the red one almost immediately... I fixed it though!
Thank you Walsh! Say hello to the crew. Be safe! 🤙🪖👮🙏🇺🇲
Thanks for the support as always!

WT JUST MAKES SENSE
I went with Blue Alpha and it is such a PITA to get things in, I really don’t want to move things over.
Just ordered mine 💪 I’m still trying to pick a safariland holster any opinions.. would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

with all the rocks and bits in that thing....it's gotten me in the side of the leg a few times! I could fight some thugs with it for sure lol

how well do the clips hold up? the nut being embedded in plastic gives me pause
I've had a few that have had issues from this exact issue. I didn't run into it until after the video

It's finally here. Question, looking for a new belt, been running a Ronin belt for about 4 years for work, any thoughts on what to get?

@@ThinLineDefenseCo appreciate it. I got to mess with a Ferro bison belt from a coworker for a short stint. It's nice but that price ruins it.

HOW MANY BELTS CAN ONE MAN OWN???
This is you guy's fault!! I'm just glad we don't need to see the bison belt lol
