Excellent review as always! It's cool that Wilder Tactical is pre-configuring belt setups.... it looks just fine for someone who doesn't want to put the time into customizing their own, but I know its not for me. I just spent almost 6 months researching and building my own battle belt. Oh, and a duty belt / competition style rig... and an EDC IWB setup... and a bag carry setup to stow my EDC when its not in my appendix. In the end, if I had just ordered the Wilder setup, the shock cords would have driven me nuts!!! The journey has been an adventure I'll never forget but this channel has been a godsend and saved me a ton of money and buyers' remorse. Thank you sincerely for all the help!
hah I'm with you....I'm particular so I'd want to pick it all but they give you that option along with this "hey this is probably what 95% of people need to get started" Glad I could help too! I either get told I'm saving them money....or costing them money haha Thanks for the great support -Walsh
I started buying kit a year ago next month, The Urban Elite Kit is what I started with, I have had my Hitman Elite Kit on order for about 4 weeks at this point and I am super excited waiting for it to be assembled. My Urban Elite Kit I have consistently used with a belt pad while my Magnetix 2 piece set up being my go for running the an inner/outer belt. With the weight reduction & tegris/curve stiffener upgrade, I really hope the hitman replaces/outperforms the original UAB kit I started with.
I'm a shill for Refuge Medical so I just buy their kits haha, this looks like their SOB kit when packaged. Your upgrade is exactly what they do with their kits. I have an ARK which is now discontinued for the new kit. Side note they have a preorder for a brand new kit called the OPFAK.
@@ahmadcampbell2626 His video last night on Patreon Live, if you're not a member, he got rumor from someone that with the Defense budget not passed yet that when it does pass to watch out. They will try to spend like 800 million in 6 months and will deplete the poop out of things. The guy asked Bear if he had the capacity to ramp up or keep up in the sew shop.
I'm a real WilderTactical Fan. WT is The Quality Bang for the Buck... I have 2 of the MHP Setups and looking to have a 3rd when the Urban Defender Elite Belt kit shows up
The full review dropped on your website yesterday, but the video is on private and thus doesn't work. Was that supposed to happen? Looking forward to the video working properly.
haha you're paying attention! I updated the website yesterday but yea the video is scheduled for this afternoon. I usually do that... people just don't notice haha
I have guns and stuff too.... no? just ... more belts and carriers.... oh.... alright hahah seriously though! cool belts and carriers on the horizon. And night vision goodies
1:35 When I started out, not knowing a dang thing, I bought the G-Code Assaulter System. Knowing nothing, it was good to get everything all at once and figure out the best way to configure it. Knowing what I know now, I would not do that again.
I agree but just getting started it's good to know a lot that "checks most the boxes" but then as you learn you're like "ehhh I don't need that or OooO I want that instead"
Looks pretty awesome actually. I'll have to try it out. I... well the screw part has me confused. That's only like two styles of pouches. None of which I own. Means you'd have to use some adapter with it sticking out.
I’m looking into wilder tactical and I really like their mounting solution for pouches on the belt but can their attachment clips be used on other pouches like esstac, defense mechanisms, and other company’s ?
Wilder is an ok brand. Their shipping time sucks but their products are decent. From past experiences they aren’t as responsive when checking orders status after waiting patiently for 3+ weeks.
I wish Walsh would stop bringing up the Grim Hunter pouches. Nobody wants to try to buy a pouch that takes a year to be delivered when you can buy Esstac or Defense Mechanisms pouches that will take no more than several weeks to arrive on your doorstep.
That is frustrating but I did try a different medical sleeve from DM and it didn't fit in the pouch. So I'm not purposely showing you those things lol I do hope GHTG fixes their supply issues. It's turning a lot of people away -Walsh
@@ThinLineDefenseCo I was mostly talking about the mag pouches. I think Grim Hunter's mag pouches are a cool design, and I'm clearly not alone in that opinion. But to be honest, I'm surprised that another company with bigger manufacturing capability hasn't started selling very similar mag pouches. I have some DM mag pouches, and when the Unobtanium Gear SLEDs came out, all I could think was if DM added tegris sheets on the inside back and front of their mag pouches, ease of indexing would be greatly improved.
I LOVE the look of a LOT of GHTG stuff... but the shipping times on the website were 2 weeks to 6 months when I last checked. Hope they hire more help and get stitching!-)
@ThinLineDefenseCo this is why we don't trust swype...links to products. I didn't know if RUclips would shun you guys off the platform for it. But links to your orifices works to 🤣
haha I'll see if I get the more specific links added so it's clearer. But the whole loadout is just the elite kit that comes preassembled. I'll see what I can do though! orifices lol
apologies man....I thought I DID put the link to at least the main stuff...apparently not. Made this just for you hahah thinlinedefenseco.com/wilder-hitman-elite-kit-loadout/

I use their Urban Elite kit, tuff as nails and works great like all my Geissele triggers.
At elf tactical you can use discount code TLDco to have a good trigger though!
Definitely a good “I have no idea how to set a belt up….I guess I will start here.” idea.
That was my thought!
dudes the king of belts and plates
I have guns and stuff too.... no? just ... more belts and carriers.... oh.... alright hahah
seriously though! cool belts and carriers on the horizon. And night vision goodies
MYLAR PANTS!!
You should do a review on the “RDR Gear” war belt bro 🤙🏼
They have a range belt and a duty belt, either will work ✅
I always heard good things about that one!

@@ThinLineDefenseCo Definitely. It takes a lot of the stress and indecision out of the beginner process.
They Also have the Swivels for the Mag pouches
Saw those too! they just seemed a little more pricey in comparison. Good point to let people know though!

What do you think of the Baer solutions belt it’s unlike any other one I’ve seen. Wondering your opinion?

No quikclot in the kit ???

yea, the tabs just slide into standard molle slots!

haha get out of here!

REMOVE the plastic packaging pf your turniquette !
JUST BUY ESSTAC POUCHES. THATS MY SPEAL
Esstacs are fantastic but I've found the new HRT pouches improve on the design so you don't need a hair dryer every 6 months.
