The chipset on almost all AM4 X570 motherboards gets very warm. Since it is actively cooled, the fan can get really annoying over time. I show what exactly causes the problem in this video and how to fix this issue.

I replaced the thermal pad on my Aorus X570 elite chipset cooler with paste yesterday. It went from idling at 65c to idling at 54c. Even during gameplay it does not go far above that. It was indeed very easy and I'm quite pleased with the results.

The temperature dropped by about 14° when I switched to thermal paste. This is a remarkable value.
