Great video Ace! I pretty much have only played ranked over the last 3 games, just a more enjoyable experience, less bs deaths to upset about. If you die its generally because you made a mistake, didnt communicate properly, or just got outplayed, I can live with these deaths and theyre alot more acceptable than dying to shotguns, throwing knives, akimbo pistols or anything else cheesy from pub game modes.
Ace, Did you try the Bruen Pendulum on the Vaz? Most Pro’s use that Muzzle. Also by chance did you test it with No Stock or the New Stock that was just added with the SZ2 update? Thank-You 👍🏻

Hi Ace what you think of the Kastov 545 in ranked since you did release a vid ranking it the best gun in the game. Would be great to get your thoughts and ranked build for it. Thanks.
Ive seen pros use the xten drop grip instead of the sharkfin, its bascily the same as the shark fin but u get better hipfire for a little bit of mobility
Now that the M13 wa massively buffed is it a competitive gun to use in ranked? I find the recoil to be a bit too strong but with the right attachments it can easily challenge TAQ 56 users at range and subs up close, making it just as versatile as the M4 which is banned
No, the Virtus is still a bottom tier AR, even when it comes to pubs. It's a 4-shot kill with 3 UT shots and you'd still get a 213ms TTK. So not only do you have to be very accurate with your shots, you don't even get that good of a payoff for your work. If you're going to go through all that trouble, just use the SCAR-L.
@@zffrailgun1630 I thought it needs 2 UT shots but you are right, Ace made a mistake in his previous video. Still, it kills about as fast as the TAQ 56 if you hit the same areas, but it is much more forgiving due to the faster fire rate. The M4 has one of the slower ttks in the AR class but it is considered OP due to its consistensy, and the M13 is extremely consistent if you always miss a shot or two, which is usually the case at AR ranges
@@KekusMagnus No it doesn't. The SCAR-L kills in 192ms with 3 UT shots and 288 without. The Virtus kills in 213ms with 3 UT shots and 284 without, and the further you go the worse it gets for the Virtus. With the exception of it being 4ms faster in the 2nd highest damage range (which is an irrelevant amount), it's consistently slower. I don't see a single reason to use the Virtus over the SCAR-L, ever. The SCAR-L has better TTKs, better recoil and better range. Nobody considers the M4 "OP", my dude. The only reason people like it is because it's a very easy gun to use. You have relatively low recoil, fast fire rate and a TTK of 222ms anywhere in the body. The Virtus isn't even close to being as good as the M4 since you don't need any precision to achieve the M4's max TTK, while you need to consistently hit 3 UT shots for the Virtus and even then they aren't even that far apart. Basically, the Virtus is a worse M4.
@@discipleoc6645 It makes a big difference for perceived hit detection, you can say it doesn't all you want but it doesn't make it true. Especially if you're playing anchor or watching a sightline, there is less of a chance for someone peaking to get back behind cover with HV ammo.

EDIT: is there a ranked rule with no laser attachments? that could be it I don’t understand that first Vaznev setup with only 3 attachments. Why no laser? there’s literally no reason not to run some kind of laser, at least the ones that aren’t visible and only help ADS or hipfire.
Just an educated guess but yes very likely a (GA) gentleman's agreement on no lasers. What I do know for sure is Pros have a ton of unofficial rules every year they make themselves follow because cod is very willing to have anything goes.
Great video, I think it is great that you point out the controversy with the Hemlock. I would say that even in the lower divisions it is frowned upon to use the Hemlock. I think it is just a matter of time before the gun goes away from ranked play.
so what your saying is when you get matched with some on fire sweats all rocking taq56's, then my whole squad and I should jump on the hemlock? got it lol
I use the aging grip which only has one con and that's walking speed. Since I don't walk in this game, I only Sprint. Should I use the agent grip or should I use the fss sharkfin?
Is it worth rocking the kas barrel with vaznev? I feel like the ttk is much faster at mid to far range but I was wondering how bad it affects the ads speed
Ace, why do your numbers show the TV xline stock hurting your movement speed when the game shows that it’s supposed to increase movement speed? Is the stat bar showing the opposite of what is happening, or is there an error in the charts? I know the stat bar is often wrong, I just want to clear this up because if your testing shows there is actually a negative impact on speed, then there is really no benefits at all to the attachment, and I’ve seen Cellium using it. A response would be greatly appreciated! 😁
Hi Ace, geniune question, you put Kastov 545 as NO.1 on the top 10 best gun after season 1 reloaded patch video. Why not use it in ranked? AFAIK, 545 hasn't been touched in terms of balance and it is NOT restricted in ranked mode.
I dont see people get angry about people using the ISO, they get angry because you either have a group to play with or a bunch of randoms, playing against a stack usually isnt fair. ranked solos would be a nice option.
Oh thank god. The pros are amazing at the game, but they use a lot of bro science when coming up with their builds. Love to see Ace come through with the data.
It’s more about ttk then it is about leading your target. You might gain 10ms to your time to kill at range with high velocity rounds. Also I tune for recoil and damage range because the boost is plenty and recoil smoothness is useless
I see this point but I can't help but feel like this is pretty pointless. 10ms isn't something most people will notice, even very competitive players will struggle to perceive a change like that. But I understand the point. The TAQ has a 957m/s velocity with tundra+high velocity, and 664m/s with just tundra. So here is the difference at some range values. At 10m there is about 4.6ms of difference. At 20m there is about 9.2ms of difference. So for every 10m, the gap increases by about 4.6ms. That feels like it would go unnoticed until a good deal away. At 60fps, it's not even a frame of difference until at least 36m which is long shot range. I will admit that AR's are designed to push ranges more than SMG's, but given that, even in competitive, average engagement distance is within 30m. It will really not be noticeable. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I feel anyways
@@harrydurham2844I think the real reason it's a good choice in ranked is: There are fewer attachment options available; out of your five attachment slots you will almost always have one open, so you can throw high velocity rounds on your gun without sacrificing another attachment. Even though the advantage they provide is generally unnoticeable, they make a bigger difference than you might think over the course of thousands of gunfights. For example, if they are only making a difference to the outcome of every 40th gunfight, that's still 250 more kills and 250 fewer deaths for every 10k fights you get in - that's 2.5%. Realistically, it's probably closer to 3.5%, considering the average TTK of guns and the average gunfight distance. That's significant. TLDR: You might as well shove it in there if you have an open slut... I mean *slot*.
@@brinklaubscher2283 Given that, unlike the Vaznev, every other slot has a couple of choices, I feel like it just isn't worth the effort. I have played with the High Velocity builds and they always feels like they lack vs other possibilities. The build I always end up defaulting to is: - Tundra Pro - Demo Cleanshot - Cardinal Stock - FJX Fulcrom Pro - Commando Grip This combination helps with recoil better (something the TAQ has a lot of), and doesn't hurt movement as bad as you may think.
I just have to ask, why High-Velocity on both the TAQ and the Hemlock? is it just for the extra range and extended hitscan? I was under the impression that the vast majority of skirmishes in 6v6 sized maps, this wouldn't affect the outcome all that much. Is there something about High-V that i'm sleeping on?
Because ranked is on a more playing field, you want your shots to get there first. Ranked is a game of inches and this can very well be the difference.
@tryharderpls sure, but if you're using high-v for it's recoil control, you'd just be better off with another attachment that provides a greater recoil benefit
@tryharderpls muzzle, barrel, grip, underbarrel, stock /sight (dealer's choice). What i'm getting at, is swapping high-v for any of the above gives less benefit than its worth. Even if you account for the downsides of any given attachment, the benefit either hightly outweighs it (if your focus is recoil), or provides better recoil control with the same negligible downside (a well tuned grip can have -0% ADS with +3-+5% recoil control, based on Ace's testing) which still outpaces the high-v recoil control, at least according to the tuning sliders
I still see a lot of people not using high velocity rounds on the taq, its the most important part for the gun and everyone should have it, even on my fast taq class I was beaming people across the map because of the massive difference in bullet velocity
This is my first time playing ranked, and I started using the M-13. I was seeing a lot of other players using the tac-56, so I decided to give it a try. Didn't really care for it personally, so I switched back to the M-13. Is there a GA against the M-13 that I should know of?
Does anyone know how to fix the ammo glitch not unlocking armor piercing for the vaz9k it’s annoying cause u can’t use on so many guns because it’s still locked and mines gold!!
Ive been running compensator instead of a barrel on my taq, just bc the extra velocity isnt much in the ranges im fighting but is it worth it for damage range?
i run the bigger mag size it comes in clutch when you need to kill that third enemy and you really only lose a little bit of aim down sight speed in my opinion
Ace, what's the reasoning behind the sharkfin on every build? Is it cause the pros GA the other underbarrels? I use phase 3 in ranked, and it's way better to be honest. Even with the minor cons, there is no reason to run sharkfin over that.
Why no Kustov762 build? While I know it’s GA in the actual pro league with the pros, it’s still available to use in ranked. So if we have the option should we go for it? Or are the rest of the guns better on this list?
Ranked play has been way more rewarding than regular multiplayer, where I swear every match for no reason🙄 at least ranked I sweat and earn some pretty cool stuff
Can you make a video about how ranked SR gains seem to work? I see people getting +200 some games and I'll have a better KD and Score, but get much less.
Thanks for all your hard work as always. Appreciate this so much. Only question is if you can also give us a build for the Taq-V since its allowed right now like the Iso Hemlock. Thanks again!
For my Accuracy Taq I don't use the rear grip and replace it with the fss sharkfin, also the line of sights on these maps are just way too long to use that pure fast SMG except on a couple specific harpoints.
Dude you should do a side-by-side comparison with guns I don’t know if it’s possible for you to start with my two favorites, the 74u & the ISO they are both hands 2 of the best ARs in MW2
I've really enjoyed most of ranked so far, but the matchmaking is super uneven. Last match my whole team was bronze, and they were all on their first match. Meanwhile the other team had a silver, a gold and two bronze. Both bronze players had the Orion mastery emblem. How tf does that make any sense
My understanding is everyone from bronze to gold can play together. If your team pulled the W you guys would probably get a ton of SP, and if they won even if it was a blowout, not a lot of SP because your team wasn’t super high skill. Just what I’ve observed so far.
No stock hemlock has felt really powerful. Muzzle, barrel, laser, red dot, no stock. Seems like the no stock isn't affecting sway or recoil as much as it should
For my tac 56 I use short barrel and high velocity to mitigate the bullet velocity loss , same muzzle you use, no stock attachment , same rear grip you use and ftac ripper under barrel I believe it has faster ADS than all of your builds and recoil is very easy , it’s slightly tuned for ads on the ftac ripper underbarrel just try that build out
Thoose setups seems pretty interresting. I was kinda wondering about the ads sens, it seems so strange, like 0.8-1.0, seems faster than 0.7-0.75 It seems that 1 ads sens multiplier matches 1:1 sens, in other games ive played I had to have a higher to match 360 distance

Suppose make the weapon hitscan incase you wanna beam far out, if you ever need it
Its because both tuning bars on high velocity ammo can be tuned for recoil, so you put it on and tune them both all the way to recoil
@@tryharderpls personally do this myself it's goated although in this case Ace doesn't do any tuning
Do you tune any attachments Ace?
No
Great video Ace! Thanks for thinking of us competitive players out there... i have a few suggestions for the Vaznev... most pros, as i have seen, use the Bruen pendulum muzzle, and ive been finding great success with it. I know its about nuances, however in ranked you have to take every inch you can... is there a major difference between this and the other muzzles?

Thank-You 👍🏻
Yes I tested the pendulum and it wasn’t nearly as good as the ones I showed today. I tested the new stock and almost included a build but it simply wasn’t as good so I cut it
@@TheXclusiveAce thanks for the response and thanks again for all the hard work you put into your videos 👍🏻

Hi Ace what you think of the Kastov 545 in ranked since you did release a vid ranking it the best gun in the game. Would be great to get your thoughts and ranked build for it. Thanks.
If you can control the recoil, or just shoot in short bursts/semi auto at distance Kastov-7.62 is a beast.
It is but you need the highest possible accuracy in Ranked
Thx for this vid. Love your channel.

Now that the M13 wa massively buffed is it a competitive gun to use in ranked?
I find the recoil to be a bit too strong but with the right attachments it can easily challenge TAQ 56 users at range and subs up close, making it just as versatile as the M4 which is banned
Imo m13 is closest to m4. I dont thinik its bad
Pretty sure it actually got nerfed
Are lazer attachments not allowed? I typically throw on the one that's not visible just for improved hipfire with the Vaznev
Nope
I know this is off topic but how have some people already got the crossbow? Half the challenges are still locked
Call of glitchey. 2022
Are high velocity rounds really neccessary?
Yes
No they aren't your velocity increase isnt making a huge difference but its a nice attachment without much downside
@@discipleoc6645 It makes a big difference for perceived hit detection, you can say it doesn't all you want but it doesn't make it true. Especially if you're playing anchor or watching a sightline, there is less of a chance for someone peaking to get back behind cover with HV ammo.
was wondering if you're going to update this with the newest patch?
Can you test the Broadside stock attachment? I have seen a lot of people swap between that and the ortrezat stock and idk which is better?
I tested it and almost included a build with it in this video but it was simply a little bit worse than any build I had with the Otrezat stock
@@TheXclusiveAce gotcha! One last question....did it even aim down sight faster? Thanks again for all you do! Been watching your videos since Black ops 4!!
I believe it was faster but by a negligible amount
@@TheXclusiveAce Gotcha! Thank you again so much for help! God bless!
EDIT: is there a ranked rule with no laser attachments? that could be it
I don’t understand that first Vaznev setup with only 3 attachments.
You can't equip lasers
Great video, I think it is great that you point out the controversy with the Hemlock. I would say that even in the lower divisions it is frowned upon to use the Hemlock. I think it is just a matter of time before the gun goes away from ranked play.
Great video thanks Ace
so what your saying is when you get matched with some on fire sweats all rocking taq56's, then my whole squad and I should jump on the hemlock? got it lol
quick question you prefer stock attachments or is tunning more toward the player's preference?
If you’re just doing ranked, do both, for competitive, just stock because tuning is banned
I use the aging grip which only has one con and that's walking speed. Since I don't walk in this game, I only Sprint. Should I use the agent grip or should I use the fss sharkfin?
Thank you for this! One question, why is the high velocity ammo type needed for the Taq?
Not needed so much as there’s no reason to not use it and it can help a lot for longer ranges fights with a negligible downside
@@TheXclusiveAce awesome thanks Ace! Just thought the damage range reduction wouldn’t be worth it
Is it worth rocking the kas barrel with vaznev? I feel like the ttk is much faster at mid to far range but I was wondering how bad it affects the ads speed
I’m one of those people that are now switching from TV XLINE to the Cardinal stock. Thanks for the comparison!
Thank you again, Ace!
One thing I'm wondering is why the high velocity rounds?
Did you try the new Vaznev stock? Or the other one that increases sprint speed?
Ace, why do your numbers show the TV xline stock hurting your movement speed when the game shows that it’s supposed to increase movement speed? Is the stat bar showing the opposite of what is happening, or is there an error in the charts?
I know the stat bar is often wrong, I just want to clear this up because if your testing shows there is actually a negative impact on speed, then there is really no benefits at all to the attachment, and I’ve seen Cellium using it. A response would be greatly appreciated! 😁
The TV Xline doesn't hurt movement, it just doesn't help it as much as the Cardinal so you'll be seeing lower numbers in relation to that
@@TheXclusiveAce Thank you Ace you're a goat 🙏🙏
Oh I been waiting for this to drop
Is there a reason for not using lasers to improve ADS speed? Some laser attachments give good ADS speed without hurting anything else.
no lasers in ranked
@@It0chi Oh I didn't know that, thanks
I honestly prefer an ADS speed build for the hemlock because it already has low recoil. Consider trying one of those builds.
I'm hooked on ranked. The ISO is nasty!!
why the no tuning? is it also frowned upon in ranked? or is it just not needed
It’s frowned upon because it’s GA’d
Hi Ace, geniune question, you put Kastov 545 as NO.1 on the top 10 best gun after season 1 reloaded patch video. Why not use it in ranked? AFAIK, 545 hasn't been touched in terms of balance and it is NOT restricted in ranked mode.
I've been using your accuracy build for the Lachman 556, but because we can't use lasers, I use the phase 3 grip and Sprint-to-Fire handle.
I dont see people get angry about people using the ISO, they get angry because you either have a group to play with or a bunch of randoms, playing against a stack usually isnt fair. ranked solos would be a nice option.
what are your thoughts on the Vaznev barrel?
Oh thank god. The pros are amazing at the game, but they use a lot of bro science when coming up with their builds. Love to see Ace come through with the data.
Thanks for the load outs
Given that you often say that the base bullet velocity isn't really noticeable in 6v6, why does high velocity matter in this case?
Because it's ranked. Every millisecond counts. In other modes movement or mag size is more important
@@harrydurham2844I think the real reason it's a good choice in ranked is:
There are fewer attachment options available; out of your five attachment slots you will almost always have one open, so you can throw high velocity rounds on your gun without sacrificing another attachment.
The build I always end up defaulting to is:
- Tundra Pro
- Demo Cleanshot
- Cardinal Stock
- FJX Fulcrom Pro
- Commando Grip
This combination helps with recoil better (something the TAQ has a lot of), and doesn't hurt movement as bad as you may think.
@@andyxprophet Nothing to do with it the hitscan ranges are very far out without high velocity rounds, its because it can be tuned for recoil control
@tryharderpls sure, but if you're using high-v for it's recoil control, you'd just be better off with another attachment that provides a greater recoil benefit
@@Sabadasz theres none left, cant use laser, dont need red dot, dont need extended mag, u get the idea?
@tryharderpls muzzle, barrel, grip, underbarrel, stock /sight (dealer's choice). What i'm getting at, is swapping high-v for any of the above gives less benefit than its worth. Even if you account for the downsides of any given attachment, the benefit either hightly outweighs it (if your focus is recoil), or provides better recoil control with the same negligible downside (a well tuned grip can have -0% ADS with +3-+5% recoil control, based on Ace's testing) which still outpaces the high-v recoil control, at least according to the tuning sliders
Does the high velocity round have a meaningful impact on the actual TTK? I mean it decreases the time for bullets to travel to a far target
I suppose it makes it super hit scan so there's absolutely no delay?
Some tips for the most acurate build for vaznev?
I still see a lot of people not using high velocity rounds on the taq, its the most important part for the gun and everyone should have it, even on my fast taq class I was beaming people across the map because of the massive difference in bullet velocity
For the longest time, I thought the pros GA’ed it from ARs but apparently I was wrong. I’m honestly surprised the pros allow it
This is my first time playing ranked, and I started using the M-13. I was seeing a lot of other players using the tac-56, so I decided to give it a try. Didn't really care for it personally, so I switched back to the M-13. Is there a GA against the M-13 that I should know of?
no m-13 sucks lol
No but once you get higher up in rank, you’ll get punished for that gun. At lower levels people just run around
Does anyone know how to fix the ammo glitch not unlocking armor piercing for the vaz9k it’s annoying cause u can’t use on so many guns because it’s still locked and mines gold!!
Ive been running compensator instead of a barrel on my taq, just bc the extra velocity isnt much in the ranges im fighting but is it worth it for damage range?
can we use slightly extended mags or does it spoil it and/or unneccessary? not using the higher extensions cos no armour in mp
i run the bigger mag size it comes in clutch when you need to kill that third enemy and you really only lose a little bit of aim down sight speed in my opinion
@@wendellwoodward9397 i find 40 rounds is enough for that and thats slighly extended but ye sometiems its harder to aim but eh thats why pistols exist
Ranked mode has saved this game for me.
Why are there only 2 attachments on these guns? Is that what's required for ranked play?
Ace, what's the reasoning behind the sharkfin on every build? Is it cause the pros GA the other underbarrels? I use phase 3 in ranked, and it's way better to be honest. Even with the minor cons, there is no reason to run sharkfin over that.
Sharkfin doesn’t hurt ads speed at all, unlike all of the others, and it’s really nice for added stability which also technically impacts recoil.
@@TheXclusiveAce Thanks for the reply. Understood :)
Why no Kustov762 build? While I know it’s GA in the actual pro league with the pros, it’s still available to use in ranked. So if we have the option should we go for it? Or are the rest of the guns better on this list?
The Kastov is great but you need maximum accuracy and reliability in ranked. The other guns are just better in those stats
Ranked play has been way more rewarding than regular multiplayer, where I swear every match for no reason🙄 at least ranked I sweat and earn some pretty cool stuff
You should look into the broadside stock for the vaznev that came with the new shotgun in the update. It seems like the new way to go

Thanks for all your hard work as always. Appreciate this so much. Only question is if you can also give us a build for the Taq-V since its allowed right now like the Iso Hemlock. Thanks again!
Why not using optic if we only have 3 attachments, I cant see good enough with with std taq56
For my Accuracy Taq I don't use the rear grip and replace it with the fss sharkfin, also the line of sights on these maps are just way too long to use that pure fast SMG except on a couple specific harpoints.
Why are we using the ammo? Isn't velocity already near instant in 6v6?
Dude you should do a side-by-side comparison with guns I don’t know if it’s possible for you to start with my two favorites, the 74u & the ISO they are both hands 2 of the best ARs in MW2
Is the bullet velocity needed on the 6v6 maps ?
What if u used a muzzle with the the fss sharkskin underbarrel to remove horizontal bounce?
Ace, can you confirm that tunning really does any effect? For me it feels like placebo... Most of my guns I use without any attachs and feels better
You don't have to be good at the game to grind camos
My understanding is everyone from bronze to gold can play together. If your team pulled the W you guys would probably get a ton of SP, and if they won even if it was a blowout, not a lot of SP because your team wasn’t super high skill. Just what I’ve observed so far.

No stock hemlock has felt really powerful. Muzzle, barrel, laser, red dot, no stock. Seems like the no stock isn't affecting sway or recoil as much as it should
why did they ban the 725 , will they bring it back?
Too strong
For my tac 56 I use short barrel and high velocity to mitigate the bullet velocity loss , same muzzle you use, no stock attachment , same rear grip you use and ftac ripper under barrel I believe it has faster ADS than all of your builds and recoil is very easy , it’s slightly tuned for ads on the ftac ripper underbarrel just try that build out
Thoose setups seems pretty interresting.
I was kinda wondering about the ads sens, it seems so strange, like 0.8-1.0, seems faster than 0.7-0.75
It seems that 1 ads sens multiplier matches 1:1 sens, in other games ive played I had to have a higher to match 360 distance
