I’m looking to run further distances, road and trail. Marathons to maybe 50k. And be faster. I’m in the western US. Ive a 25k trail run next month. Will be my longest distance. Eek!
Ah I see, the best place to start is talking to people you know and see who has tried what, if you don’t need to see someone physically then great to post what you’re after on an FB page to see who recommends for your area.
Great video - you were skipping down those trails like Kilian. Completely agree with the recovery. When I stated running properly a few years ago, a hard 5 or 10k would have me in bits for days if not weeks. It's amazing how the body adapts.

Ran it in the VJ Maxx and very pleased how they performed! Courious what will be your choice! Keep pumping and stay well!!

@@DarrenSmithTrailRunning Where abouts are you based? I have a big Ultra commitment next year and wondered if I may see you on some of them - all Northern, a local Leeds one, then Hardmoors 110 , next up the Lyke Wake and then the Dalesway in August
That’s quite the schedule! Some of those are local to me I’m 40mins drive either side of the HM110 and much of the Luke Wake is similar but not doing any big ultras this year I’m maxing at 30 miles because I’m trying to develop my speed at that distance to carry into the longer stuff
