The is for the video, I really enjoyed it. I’ve moved to the edge of the Lake District recently so I’d love to do some of those!

Great effort on the video with maps. Halls fell off Blencathra is an experience.

Yeh it’s an awesome route, really needs full focus for quite a long descent, I’m actually heading out there tomorrow can’t wait

@@DarrenSmithTrailRunning Thanks for the reply. That's great, have a good run. I've written a comedy on fell running and putting it up on my channel if you would care to check it out. Good luck on Halls Fell.

Great route often do this one . If you took the oath going up skiddsw instead of little man there's a path right down to dkiddsw house . That's great route down blencathra . Once again another great video

Yeh its a got some variety and I really liked the descent off Blencathra. I've done it in reverse before and taken the path you mentioned from Skiddaw House, somehow it looks so different the other way on lol

Great video , the heat will help you in the long run it's as good as altitude training and will add character .

Thanks and good point on the heat, its just another stressor to stimulate growth I suppose.

What an incredible film Darren - those views, you just couldn’t imagine them let alone see them for real. It’s definitely another for my bucket list! Your face was like a kid at Christmas on the descents, it was lovely to see! So excited to see the three peaks run, it’s come around so quickly 😱

Great video. I’m doing my first ultra in a couple of weeks and it’s great to see how other people get on.

Thanks and good luck with your first Ultra, key is to go out way slower than you think is necessary...so often the stomach is a limiting factor in Ultra's and by going slower you have more blood in there early on to digest food and keep topping up before the inevitable happens.

Another good film, been following you for a while but never commented or subscribed until now. I just wanted to say buy a 1L water filteration system for your next hot run, that way you can fill up from any stream and never run out of water. I always carry one when I'm in the lakes or snowdonia.

Thanks for following Jonathan and cheers for the tip, you’re probably right I should look into one. Even if I’d carried 3 litres I don’t think it would’ve been enough.

Thanks for the video. Mungrisedale Common is a pig. Not looking forward to that bit!
Just a really small point for reference though - it’s pronounced Skidda’ (or Skidder), not Skid-door 🙂
