Cadillac Seville's FILTHY Filter Unchanged for Years

The in-line fuel pump filter hasn't been replaced in years, and is FILTHY. I had some troubles along this work, but in the end it paid off with a scenic cruise.

My Seville has a parasitic drain and if I don't shut my car off using my main switch, something drains the battery. I have a whole series upcoming in August, where I search for the cause of that.

some of the weird camera angles you are getting would have to be invaluable to a mechanic. Perhaps that type or technology is out there and utilized by auto repair shops, but in the past all of it was merely accomplished by "intuition" or literally "feel"

I really want to make it work, but before I am tackling this task, there are a lot of things that I have to address first, like replacing the timing chain, waterpump, maybe resealing/regasketing the rengine/trans. My masterplan is to swap the whole subframe with engine and trans with my rebuilt unit. After that, a new paint job and vinyl roof are needed urgently - rust spots are already showing up underneath the vinyl roof and on some spots of the sheet metal.
But after all that's done, a working AC would make my car complete ❤️
