Such a fun car!
Thanks for watching!
What ??? It can't be done !! But you did it !! You are the tuning wizard .
🙏🙏🙏🤝🤝🤝
Unreal! Someone who did it right! the FD2 made 222 HP! What an accomplishment! I would love to see the R18's get some love.
Thank you for your kind words!
And I fully agree 100%! R series engines need some love too!
Huh? They can do 300whp stock internals
@@shadf7902 They can do more than that. But that's not what he meant.
I will do the same set up on mine thanks bro to opening up my eyes 🤝 big fan from QC MTL
Love what you did brother , you're humble and very there for the people, as 4 your English I understood everything you said and so will the world , we need more information on how much it costs and the supporting mods
Thank you for your kind words and support my brother 🥰
Your English is great! Your tuning seems good too!
Thanks for the support!
Nice build!! I also run stock 02 sensor and I run at 10.5 afr wide open throttle.
Do you suggest even lower afr ?
Check out my turbo r18 in America!
Hi
Stock O2 Sensor in these cars always report richer than the mixture actually is when the mixture is rich, they are ok when it's not as rich. That's why I said I did it rich using stock sensor, to avoid going too lean. Then I refined the tune with a wideband later.
@@XGNPerformance what afr are you targeting in boost now with wideband?
And is your factory o2 still saying 10.14 at wot
@@BulliKidFactory O2 says 10.14, Wideband says 11.5-11.0:1 at 10psi/0.6bar and 10.8-10.5:1 at 15psi/1bar
You’re the best my master! Saludos desde Honduras!
this is an one of my dream builds
using WinOLS for tuning is crazy. Very powerful utility in the right hands though. Glad I got haltech working on my b18 lol.
Definitely be one of yur big fans kub
Hey man!
Stumbled upon this video, it really inspired me to Turbo my R18. I love my 8th gen non-si civic... I want it to live forever. It is also my first car.
I have just one dumb question... does the R18 Turbo need higher octane fuel? or can still run 87?
That closing remark really hits man, I am so glad that you are tuning cars and it makes you happy!!!
Hey!
Thank you for watching and your kind words! I really appreciate it!
Regarding fuel, minimum fuel recommended will be oct91(ron95) for the boost stock sensor can prrovide, which is around 6-10psi with considerate timing.
Totally awesome!!! Keep up the amazing work you do!! 👏👏👏
Thank you my friend Paulo
Thanks bro inspiration for me to finally go in and get my turbo build started I’m just running cold air and catless at the moment and I am looking to pull more power from this block thanks for showing the potential and big ups from the us to Bangkok homie keep ripping tec (vtec) my man‼️‼️‼️💥🔥
Let's go!!!
I'm just glad what I do means something to others. I really am. I wish you the best and success and your project!
Honda forever!
Thank you for watching and thank you for your kind words!

Asian Einstein at it again 🙏
Thank you my friend
I made 240 whp on my 8th gen civic si full bolt ons on E85 tuned all motor k24 swapped on mine
Congrats, that makes about the same as our Toyota VIOS when it had K24A2 on E85. Nice power you got.
What other mods are you running I made 253 on my k24 swapped 8th gen on 93.
@@Motofried I’m trying to buy supercharger for my car to make better numbers
The Wizard of ECU's doing their job ;P
did you ever end up sleeving? or was it just the OEM pistons
Stock sleeves and stock pistons are fine for 15psi with conservative tuning
Have you used or Heard of people using kingtec racing rods and pistons?
This car has KingTec rods
@@XGNPerformance what’s your feedback from them?! I just got their R18 forged rod and piston kit.
I got 247.96 hp 29.68 torque with stock engine and td05 stock turbo ✌🏽✌🏽
Congrats on your success
What turbo you used
What kind of turbo manifold are you using nice build
Thanks!
Custom made locally by TstepsRacingShop!
That’s unreal 🔥, do you have partners here in the Philippines?
Thanks
I have one in Cebu, and could do more in Manila if needed.

SUH DOOHHHHHHHHH
Subscribed! Love this kind of stuff! Canada here - could this be done with automatic transmission? Could I safely boost the car and start to build the rest as I go? Or should I start by swapping out pistons and whatnot? Great content man - love what you’re doing! Would love a breakdown video of everything you’ve done so far :)
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words!
Yes, you can do 5-7psi with automatic fine. This car was also boosted with automatic + stock internals before.
Way to go... the car needs a good wash though.
Isn't r20 pistons aluminium? What is advantage over r18 pistons?
Hello!! How did you deal with the MAP and MAF sensors?
MAF is deleted and converted to Speed Density with new tuning tables I created. MAP sensor is 4bar from Toyota Turbo Diesel, rescaled correctly, can read boost directly from obd2.
Can it be done online? I’m loving it 🚀😍
Respect from Macedonia 🇲🇰
Thank you for your kind words
Yes, online tuning can be done. We just gotta talk about the specifics. My Whatsapp is +66864099800
Ratatatata👌
Brahpppppppppppppppppppp
Fuel consumption increased in comparison with R18 atmo? I mean cruise load.
If you use the same power, there would be almost no change in fuel consumption. And better responsiveness, because we tuned knock limited ignition timing to suite the fuel well. So the car will get better ignition timing in all range, thus better efficiency.
Hello sir ! Great work
I am doing somewhat of a similar setup as well
Any way to get in touch with you regarding the tune
Thank you
@@CheatsCustoms Hi!
Contact me on Whatsapp at +66864099800
Can you please tell me why you used the R20 pistons over stock r18 pistons?
K20/k24 here 240 hp 184 torque.
Good power, we made similar power with our Toyota when it had K24+20 before we remove it for a J35.
I thought you’de make more than that with a k20/k24 setup my k24 swapped engine makes 253 on 93 .
@javielo1374 It's also up to dyno we use. We also just made 272ps on Dynapack @tcf=1.06 SAE with just JDM K24A2 block + DC5 oil pump + RBC cam gear using E20 OCT91(RON95). It would make less on some other dynos.

I have a 2006 r18 automatic. How did you tune it in a stock ECU ? What did you use
WinOLS for editing
PCMflash for reading and writing
Lots of things need to be done. I do my own firmware reverse engineering deep down to Assembly codes. That's how I'm able to do these.
👍
Where you get her vacuum form the pvc
Stock internal and stock block and stroke?
What injectors are you using bro? And how many cc?
Chinese 650cc injectors bro, but it's maxed out. I recommend using 850cc for stock fuel system.
Ok brother thank you, we are planning to build and r18 turbo with stock internals with skunk2 cams. Is 400-500cc injectors good?
@@Budgetmealracer No problem. How much boost?
@@XGNPerformance my kit is still in transit and we will install in later on. My tuner mr. Julius told me that we will run on low boost only.
By the way if i would use a k20 injector would it work bro?
@josemichaeljochin870 K20 will only be enough for super low boost. Does is happen to be Julius from Philippines?
Can you tune a factory Lexus ecu ?
Can do many of them, but not all.
May I know How much it cost ?
Hi
Turbocharging cost around $1,500-1,800 up to the turbo we have to use, with some Chinese parts and custom fabrications. Building the engine is entirely up to the parts we want, rebuilding labor cost alone is about $800-1,000 not including parts. Tuning costs $500-800.
I can do online tuning for many cars.

@@XGNPerformance oh that's expensive 😂
in dollar or thailand bath sir?
@@XGNPerformance
@@xerxestheii856Yes, even with Chinese parts, it's not cheap. But all these will make it a lot less than what we usually had to spend back in time. It will be much more expensive with all genuine parts.
@@Rimbabara-r1e It's in USD.
Hello. Where is your location. Can i add same turbo and tune stock ecu on my r16a

What turbo manifold was that ?
Stock bro
I was reading it wrong and thought u were asking about intake 🤣.
It's custom made locally.
Stock internals?
Chinese forged rods and Honda OEM R20 pistons

wow just a year im jealous

yeah, really wish my r18 had more power but getting an si just makes way more sense
