    here is a request: would you be able to do a video explaining all about veins.....how to place them correctly etc. I'm really struggling with getting them to look right. Don't know what Im doing wrong. Either there are too many or not sloping in the right direction etc etc etc, they just never look "real" or correct. thank you. :-)

      Hello! Do you mean leaf veins? I can do that 😊🙏

    I love your videos, thank you. I would have loved to be able to see each real petal while you were painting it.....side by side. :-)

      I’m painting from my own references, with children in the house it is almost impossible to paint from life. Petals, leaves and flowers fade away really quickly 😊

      @@KristineArt ok, understood. I love the way you paint. I could see some petals on the left of screen, that was all. :-)

    Thank you for another wonderful tutorial! Is there some form of technique or any tricks to seeing the under colors in a reference? I find that so difficult.

      I also found it very difficult and frustrating 🙈😂 in the beginning. It is all about - the more you look and practice the more you start to see! And it is really true 💝 In real life I now notice things which I never noticed before. And the same is with all those colors any subject has!

    Thanks so much for this tutorial. Very helpful to see the in-depth detail of layering. Can you offer any advice on having a light touch?
    I also noticed you are using a very high quality paper. Maybe 300lb? Do you always use this paper? Is it hot or cold pressed?

    • @KristineArt
      @KristineArt  2 года назад

      To stay light - don’t make too saturated and big color mixes. Make smaller amount of color mixes and paint transparently

      I’m painting on Saunders Waterford 640gsm and Canson Moulin du Roy 300gsm. Both are hot pressed paper

      That’s the thing - practice more and more and more. This is an exercise to which you can come back again
