The most beautiful botanical demonstration I have ever seen on you tube. Very well explained. I rarely comment on anything but how you shared your talent free. You deserve applause. Thanks
You r an inspiration.... And a benchmark as welll for others as well... An endevevour to understand play of light and colours in nature...
Beautiful results. It gi es me a good idea of what level of instruction to expect in the leaves and the vellum tutorials.
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful... it looks like you could pick it up off of the paper. You are a masterful genius. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Very helpful tutorial. Thanks!
wonderful job!
beautiful!
Stunning !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent video and good narration of what you were doing. I really struggle with roses, all the little veins. I must practice.
Excellent!!
Very beautifull and you really create the visual texture and it gives a very “breathing” painting with a tectile and vibrational feel - and its a wonderfull meditative drawing-painting to really look at and see nd feel and paint the beautifull rose petals in all its mysterious beauty
Wonderful 👏👏👏
Amazing !!
Very helpful demonstration.
Could you tell me the name of your brush
Please, and number
Thank you
Beryl Rose it’s Winsor and Newton Series 7 Sable Miniature size 4. I love these brushes and have them in sizes 0,1,2,3 and 4. Only downside is they are very expensive but last well if you look after them. If you go for one make sure it’s a Miniature they are better for this type of work.
Are there any books you could recommend for an experienced watercolor painter wanting to try botanical illustration?
Billy showell has a good collection to start with.
