I don't watch AEW and haven't played their game or even want to, but 2K needs to step their game up anyways; it's the same game every year with better graphics and I do own WWE 2K23 and I grew up watching WWE during the Attitude Era so I'm not just spitting venom when I say that.

I'd regret paying full price for a 20 dollar game and only play 2 matches and it wasn't no barb wire deathmatch either

as someone who was on the development team for legends of wrestling series it take time to make change too gameplay and make match types and too me it lookling like there going the mobile way of release content every month
I played the game for one day and haven’t touched it sense, the major problem with the game is the lack of match types and options and lack of modes and stadium mode is buggy as hell

Protip: I played through it a few times to build up a high flyer type, a brawler, a giant etc., then each time I wanted a new character I'd just duplicate one of my leveled-up characters and change the moves and appearance. Duplicating wrestlers is way easier than going through the whole thing every time

A 30 dollar game sold for half price. If they took the time and effort from making mini games and instead used that for their undercooked creative suite and barren ass road to elite, it wouldve been great Glad i used store credit to buy it. This game might only be saved by making a free to play version tbh
While yes I believe most people got it on console, having 20-30 people playing it at a time for any platform Isn’t good, especially coming from a company like AEW. I don’t think console is really that great either for the game.
As strictly an offline gamer i love the game simply because the gameplay is amazing. Even as an offline gamer it needs more content. Im sad to see the state of the game since they nailed the most important part, the gameplay.
