I'm doing no contact with my ex gf after 6 weeks. playing the long game. Patience. But since then I've gotten a new job, hit the gym, and really paying attention to these videos to craft myself and understand relationships. I was with my gf for 6 years and realized I made a lot of mistakes. But I can no longer look into the past. I only look at what I can do in the present. you guys really helped me look forward to either reconnecting with my ex or having a really healthy relationship later down the road with someone new when i'm ready again! For me I don't need for him to contact me. Once I'm done that's it. Apparently, his not available in all areas. Which I 'm not making myself available for the unavaible. I definitely move on. My time is very valuable.

Same here I went NC, and I have been getting into rigourous outdoor activities like hiking, raquetball, outdoor aerobics, its been so freeing doing what I love, eating healthier and dropping pounds at the same time.
I did the no contact rule and his now texting me telling me that he misses me. I don't even how to reply or if I should even reply

Probably one of the most inspiring videos I have seen yet from you guys. Thank you so much for this video I have been doing about three months of no contact and I feel stronger each day. Although there are times that I miss him so much and want to contact him again but I am trying to do the best I can to be proactive and not reach out and work on myself. In a message, he told me that he will not reach out to me and please not to reach out to him..but i tried a few times after because i really wanted to try to move past our fallout and try to salvage what we had but he kept blocking me everytime. So i gave up on trying. I have not contacted him and these past couple of months he is still on my mind, i am just stronger mow and recognize my worth and dignity and that he in reality lost something good.thank u for this

This is even true when married if one person gives all the time. The other person may start to expect and assume that even if he or she neglects their partner that their partner will continue to put up with it.
In some cases these uneven relationships will continue but in many cases the “giver” will address the unevenness and in some cases just give up and leave.

I KNOW that my ex still loves me. That doesn't mean she will admit it or do something about it. That doesn't mean I should chase her either when she keeps pushing me away. So I'm deciding to move on because I need someone more mature and up to MY standards, whether it's her or not. Infact I don't need anyone, I'm happy being on my own actually. Love advice TV coaches are really awesome :) I came across of this channel when I was desperately trying to get answers from all the questions inside my head, I only had two boyfriends in my 28 years of life, and both of them, they leave me for someone else, can you imagine how damaged my self esteem and self worth was? Self pity, feeling worthless, feeling that I am replaceable. I was crying the whole 2 weeks. And I am very thankful that I found you guys, your words are really helpful, you always say to your videos to value ourselves to not put them on the pedestal to feel good, little by little as I continue to watch your videos I realized "yeah, I am unforgettable, I am awesome, I have a great personality, I am valuable, I have a lot of friends and they like me for who I am because I am fun to be with, I have a sense of humor, witty, and always laugh a lot. Whenever we have a get together with my friends they always make sure that I can make it because there is no fun without me. If that people can see my worth why am I sulking at home thinking about my ex who dumped me and decided to be with someone else. I ve been doing no contact for 6 days. Our last contact was Mar 22nd. I emailed an apology for my part in ruining the relationship. I apologized for anything I said that made him feel that I didnt love him, whatever that happened to be. I told him I dont expect him to reach out to me. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. As of today, I go back to no contact and working on myself and going on a date here and there. I want him back, but he also has to want us to succeed. I accept it whichever way it goes.

We almost got back together then I repeated the same cycle ( for the 3rd time) ... being needy, emotional, crazy! So he ended it again but the good thing is he said he loved me and maybe down the road we can talk again but he doesn’t want to be with me if I keep losing control of my emotions. That lady example is so relatable because you see on Facebook Instagram that he’s living his best life then makes a comment about something you post and you’re not friends on one of the pages, you know he is still checking for you. No contact works. It’s having patience while it is happening that sucks.
Once a man says give him space, time, pull away thing YES it's your priveledge and his priveledge too. Initially yes "miss"word is a layman's word we normally use . But here both most think especially "US" ladies that it is "NOT" your responsibility as a woman or lady to make him a man. Please define the word "Clingy " because that is what my ex said a few times before our breakup. I would you to explain exactly what your meaning of it is? He was saying because I wanted to see or be around him" I am being Clingy or Needy" but my definition is when you love someone you would want to be around them.
nicole browne I definitely agree! My ex sometimes told me this as well. I was like "so me being all about you and loving you is considered clingy?" It's so confusing..doesn't make sense to me.
@@tierra4390 "all about you" is exactly what they mean by being clingy, you have to have your own life as well, your entire life cannot revolve around your partner only no matter how much you love them because it makes you look desperate, needy and someone that he or she will drag along without knowing it and will start to feel like a burden to them
It’s manipulative and mentally abusive to call u clingy when u only expect him to spend time with you. That’s basic in a relationship. It’s the beginning of the end when he starts calling u clingy. My ex did the same when he spent absolutely no time w me at all
The problem with no contact is if your goal is to get back with them, then during all the months of no contact he’s having sex with other women or investing time in at least one other woman while you’re out of the picture. Then if you do get back with each other after no contact, then we have to try to get rid of the last chick he was with or the women he was having sex with. They’re still in the picture unless the man chooses to drop them cold turkey which won’t happen because he’ll want to keep her or them around as an option just like he kept me on Facebook as an option. I hate dating and relationships in this day and age.

My ex husband periodically comes around asking for a second chance. But the only reason why is because I'm done for good...I never contact him during the entire time he left n it's not bc I was playing games but bc I had truly move on with my life!

I am now 2 weeks into my break up with my ex-fiance. 2 months after buying our first home together, he explained that he needed to go away and think, concur his fear of being alone (he went from relationship to relationship to relationship) and see if being with me is what he truly wants. Yesterday, I made a foolish decision and saw him walking down the street and (though I had the intention of just asking to get some of my things out of his car) I broke down and begged him to come home and get back together. As I walked away, I realised instantly my mistake and regretted doing that. I want to begin the no contact and work to improve myself with the goal of getting back together. I want to be able to leave him alone and give him the space he asked for but now I am in our place alone and feel like I am constantly reminded that this was the first step we were taking as a committed couple and it is hard and I feel fear that it won't work out. Any advise or guidance would be appreciated. We live in a very small town so it is hard to not see him and feel like I am back at square one in this whole process.

Many people in relationships today are not in love, they are in like , companionship, familiarity, desperation, dependency, they do not know what love is.They have found soneone who is in the same boat or who shares the same ideas of what a relationship is and that's why they're together. My guy friend at work fell in love with me.He was my agony aunt. I was in an unhappy relationship but I have kids. Then I told him I cant sleep with him. Then he kept his distance and disappeared. Now after years we work in the same building. So he sees me laughing chatting with me new female friend. He greets when he is with his colleagues but not when he is alone. So I pretend like we never were. Cos thats what he did to me. I still have feelings. But I will never be a doormat again. When he asks how I am Im always running on my way somewhere. No take backs. What if its been 28 days, without him reaching out? Other than him saying he hopes the best for me 13 days ago. We were together for a year and a half, broke up once before 5 months before this breakup, and he said he loves me but isn't in love with me. But besides the breakup, we had a great relationship. Minimal fighting. It truly felt like on my end, that we were really into eachother. Loved deeply. I know I did. We had one argument, and the next day he didn't reply all day to my texts other than to tell me we were going to talk when he came over. I knew immediately he was leaving me. I called him and begged in that moment but I haven't since that day. The breakup was drawn out over 4 hours, we held eachother. Cried together. He just said he knows he can't go on anymore. I want him back, so badly. The first breakup we only lasted 13 days without eachother, and he came back. He reached out during then too. He looks at my insta stories occasionally, deleted me off of snap. His parents told me they miss me. I miss him so much, and them. I'm having a hard time accepting that it is the end, if it is the end. But it is the end. Lol. I don't want it to be.

After the breakup, he told me everything that is physically wrong with me vanity wise, called me every name in the book....asked me to come over...slept together, told me he loved me and the next day, I asked if i could come hold him and he said nuh, I'll pass then eventually blocked me. It was a 2 year relationship, no infidelity...just lots of Leo Type A against Leo Type A and he says it is tired and doesn't want me anymore.
Guy once get a woman, never leave her until she does too much stupidity to lose herself, lose her control or too much kind or too much over acting or need any serious help etc. Let him go if he is not smart & wise one rather taking advantage of your simplicity or kindness. I been doing the no contact going on 4 months haven't heard from him I hope he falls in the 80% that he will miss me n reach out but I'm kinda doubtful in the part that he had a rebound so that but yeah it does scared me we was 2 years together n me living an hour n a half away he had trust issues so I'm just hoping for the best in him reaching out but I do feel stronger now did a new look making myself feel better I know I was a good woman to him n he knows it to he has told me I was the only one who treated him right so it took me off guard when he left me hopefully I be another success story

Kitty Cat he broke up with me I lived an hour n a half away we grew up together I found him on fb we was 2 years together but he had trust issues from his pass n in a way couldn't pass we grew up together but he was happy he said I was the only woman who treated him right n he was fighting his feelings for me n I think in a way I paid for what his other relationships did😢 I he stopped replying to me over a month so I went to see him than he told me he couldn't trust plus he fucked up n couldn't fast me I reached out in Jan n Feb he didn't reply so I didn't reach out no more its been 6 months haven't heard from him I still miss him n all but he has to reach out he was the one who made that decision but I feel like he won't plus he did a rebound so idk anymore

For me th no contact rule i did i for me ... I was sooo needy and he was soo mean to me ... That i didn t felt goof at all ... I missed my older self ... my laugh .. the way i enjoued life and the peace of mind and powerfull woman i was before ... So made the defision to not contact him to find my power again ... And mad it clear to myself that even if he move on or leave iam ok with it .. because i need to gain myself and the fact that i ll gain myself is wayyyyyy much powerfull than the fear of losing him ....
I have a lot invested but, I walked away because, I was not getting the attention that I deserved. I simply said, I wish things were different. If he doesn't care to ask what I want then he is a self centered moron & he will never put my needs as a priority. Focusing on me as I couldn't date if I wanted too, I'm in Love with this man.
