The message I feel gets lost in fear, it’s important to know that most of us watching this are in a negative place of fear, so when you say it’s about being happy our ears perk up but then when you say the “or else” it gets us back to fear. There’s a huge difference between “When you become the person you want to be and find happiness and fulfillment alone, it will act as gravity to those around you” And “If you fail to change who you are because who you are isn’t enough you will lose them” Please make a video on this ^^ The “or else” way of putting things isn’t helpful and doesn’t pump us up, it just scares us and makes us wonder more why who we are fundamentally isn’t enough
Because If you do it you're out of the depression and feeling desperate which your ex doesn't want. If want your ex back you have to force yourself to do this challenge of changing. And when you're at that point of happiness you can also decide if you even want your ex back or not. So when you see your ex you'll be so fresh and new she/he will want you because it's like she/he has never known you because you're a new person. That's what's attractive. Unfortunately this is some bs to go through but it's all part of the plan I just hate how hard it this has to be, wish there was an easier way.

I am in week 5 of no contact, my ex left me over a year ago but we reconnected this year and things got messed up because I was in a hurry and he's in a new relationship. I became more happy with my life and my relationship with the people around me, in the past.. all I want was just to lay down and cry and not care with the things I should be dealing with like school works and deadlines.. but as time passes by, I became more happy although I detached myself from social media because It is one of the reason or a thing that hurts me, like seeing him posting a lot.. i did also the radio silence and not making him the priority.. he starts to reach out, everyday and sometimes I meet him and sometimes I dont, but I keep my self happy and vibrant and not ask him to walk me home whenever we meet.. and it may not be the time where he will ask to get back but theres a progress, all thanks to the videos I've watched from this channel. patience is a virtue

Please do a video on long term friendship relationships that turned into a new loving relationship. How to make it work. How to get it back if 1 flees out of fear of commitment. The battles that interferes with the previous friendship and how to keep the friendship part in the new lovers relationship going. I don't see these types of videos but as you know this type of relationship can be very explosive and intense bc the 2 people were already friends. This type of relationship can be bad bc the old friendship part can get lost in the newly sexual very intense part of the relationship. It can be a emotional rollercoaster as the 2 people already care for each other as long-term friends and running buddies. It can be very happy at times bc the 2 friends already had love for one another. But communication shifts bc now they are not sharing info and always talking like friends they are sharing like lovers.

Well it's all about balance. You can still and should have your own goals and life when you're with someone. The tragic part is when you live your life through that other person and you become so dependent on them that you lose your identity. I've been guilty of that a lot but it's a lesson everyone has to learn. Nothing is more attractive than your significant other who has goals of their own.

I got the chance to talk to my ex again and now we’re kind of back together but haven’t made it official to call each other boyfriend and boyfriend. I’m having problems with overthinking a lot! I tend to overthink and that’s what puts me in a sad mood and stops me from actually enjoying the moment with him. He’s very happy to be talking to me and we’ve gone out a couple of times and it’s gone great! What do you think I could do about overthinking? I love him but I tend to think too much of the future and if I’m still going to feel love for him next week. Or tomorrow or whenever. I get some anxiety from overthinking.

I faked that for a month or so but burnt out ... it really does need to be real and motivated from a place of self care ... not to try make him want you back etc. I'm trying to gather the reins of self care now but it is hard. I'm a single mum and its difficult to carve out time for these things. But we all need to regardless I think as if we truly feel great our sparkle comes back and that positively affects everyone around you 💗

He tells me advice to find someone new, but then he rubs what I didn’t do to him in my face and he posts stuff about his new girlfriend. He never directly told me he had a girlfriend.
I dont think so man...but there is a possibility that they could change later if they do see you as your best and happier without them. But I wouldnt wait for that. I'd do all of this for yourself. You never know if you find someone better than your ex later

How do you pull away when you live together? We dated but didn't date exclusively. Now he's seeing someone else, casually. I pulled back as much as I can with having to talk almost daily about general things that have to do mostly with the logistics of the house since I can't move and I watch his kids. Other than leaving the house when I can and not going out of my way to do things for him, I'm not sure what else to do....

So my ex and I have "technically" split up for almost a year and a half, shes moving to Hawaii and we're from Oregon. She says she'll be gone 6 months max. Does anyone think I have a chance? We've been hanging out and sleeping together basically thru the whole break up, and she notices moments where she sees the me she fell so madly in love with but still isn't ready for an actual commitment with me. Long story short, I got into drugs and took her for granted and hid my addiction from her.the last couple years of the relationship, and she stuck thru it a while but finally gave up. I'm clean now, and have been for a year, I'm making goals and doing responsible type things that weren't really my forte before. This women is my everything and the absolute best thing in this existence. I have acted a little jealous and if were being honest I'm sure I've come off a little desperate for her a time or two, but in the last few months or so I've really calmed down. She says if I'd like I'm more than welcome to come visit her in Hawaii and she'll be coming to Oregon every 3 months and wants to spend time together while shes back for the few days. Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated!
Hey Anthony Schliecher, you should feel good about yourself. You're still in the running and you still got this. It sounds like she's coming around after you getting sober. You just need to keep a cool head. You need to exist in this "in between" space for a while - where you two aren't exactly exclusive, but the romance is still going and moving forward. We went to the coast yesterday with her and sadly I had a slip up with my use. i thought plans were getting canceled and that she may have been working on "ghosting" or putting me at a certain distance. And obviously i let it get to me, which i know i shouldn't have butttt unlike everyother time before. I voluntarily was honest and forthcoming, which is a new experience for her ha. Needless to say she was very upset but she remained very calm and we had a good crying heart to heart even though she wanted to take off. It changed her mind about coming over with our dog and spending one last family night together though. She said she needed to process what she was told and exactly how she feels about it which is understandable and I told her I understand and just to get ahold of me if she changes her mind before she leaves. She ended up wanting to talk and fall asleep together on the phone lol😅 which is better than it could of been right?. In my gut I know she'll want to come over tonight before she leaves tomorrow

However, when you accept full responsibility for what you did then that is enough for you. It is not your responsibility for the decision your husband makes. Clear communication is key right now. The message I feel gets lost in fear, it’s important to know that most of us watching this are in a negative place of fear, so when you say it’s about being happy our ears perk up but then when you say the “or else” it gets us back to fear.
There’s a huge difference between
“When you become the person you want to be and find happiness and fulfillment alone, it will act as gravity to those around you”
And
“If you fail to change who you are because who you are isn’t enough you will lose them”

Because If you do it you're out of the depression and feeling desperate which your ex doesn't want. If want your ex back you have to force yourself to do this challenge of changing. And when you're at that point of happiness you can also decide if you even want your ex back or not. So when you see your ex you'll be so fresh and new she/he will want you because it's like she/he has never known you because you're a new person. That's what's attractive. Unfortunately this is some bs to go through but it's all part of the plan I just hate how hard it this has to be, wish there was an easier way.

I don't see these types of videos but as you know this type of relationship can be very explosive and intense bc the 2 people were already friends. This type of relationship can be bad bc the old friendship part can get lost in the newly sexual very intense part of the relationship. It can be a emotional rollercoaster as the 2 people already care for each other as long-term friends and running buddies. It can be very happy at times bc the 2 friends already had love for one another. But communication shifts bc now they are not sharing info and always talking like friends they are sharing like lovers.

Well it's all about balance. You can still and should have your own goals and life when you're with someone. The tragic part is when you live your life through that other person and you become so dependent on them that you lose your identity. I've been guilty of that a lot but it's a lesson everyone has to learn. Nothing is more attractive than your significant other who has goals of their own.

I'm a single mum and its difficult to carve out time for these things. How do you pull away when you live together? We dated but didn't date exclusively. Now he's seeing someone else, casually. I pulled back as much as I can with having to talk almost daily about general things that have to do mostly with the logistics of the house since I can't move and I watch his kids.

So my ex and I have "technically" split up for almost a year and a half, shes moving to Hawaii and we're from Oregon. She says she'll be gone 6 months max. Does anyone think I have a chance? Hey Anthony Schliecher, you should feel good about yourself. You're still in the running and you still got this. It sounds like she's coming around after you getting sober. You just need to keep a cool head. You need to exist in this "in between" space for a while - where you two aren't exactly exclusive, but the romance is still going and moving forward. We went to the coast yesterday with her and sadly I had a slip up with my use. i thought plans were getting canceled and that she may have been working on "ghosting" or putting me at a certain distance. And obviously i let it get to me, which i know i shouldn't have butttt unlike everyother time before. I voluntarily was honest and forthcoming, which is a new experience for her ha. Needless to say she was very upset but she remained very calm and we had a good crying heart to heart even though she wanted to take off. It changed her mind about coming over with our dog and spending one last family night together though. She said she needed to process what she was told and exactly how she feels about it which is understandable and I told her I understand and just to get ahold of me if she changes her mind before she leaves.
She ended up wanting to talk and fall asleep together on the phone lol😅 which is better than it could of been right?.

I understand that the guilt is starting to get to you. You are seeing how those actions affected your husband. However, when you accept full responsibility for what you did then that is enough for you. It is not your responsibility for the decision your husband makes. Clear communication is key right now. After giving both of you some time it would be good to write a letter to him understanding the situation and showing him how things will get better. But remember, you are only responsible for you.
