The CS looks great but it's not nearly as fun to drive as a Performance Pack Mustang. It's actually quite a significant difference when you drive them back to back.
I was considering an orange performance pack but the performance pack is too expensive and I'm not gonna be taking it to the track or anything. The performance pack is too common, I love the design and uniqueness of the California special
Looked this one up on Walker's site and at $40,876 its a steal, cant wait to get down to FL and buy one as that one is optioned just as I would want one and the CS edition is a nice bonus.
Three vehicles that I love to death because of the way their modern designs incorporate their heritage are the Jeep Wrangler, Porsche 911 and Ford Mustang
One of the local dealers has a 2019 GT/CS in black for sale. I think this is the best looking new Mustang I’ve seen recently. Looks classic, a little mean, but also a little classy in that black paint. And I love the idea of standing out a little from all the other GTs.
I like the CALI SPECIAL because it looks a bit different. And the interior with the Alcantara and the red stitching is really high class. I have Alcantara carbon package in my GT and I love it - especially the carbon cover on the dash board!!!
My dad had a 2009 GT/CS and a 2016 GT/CS. I like the stripe on the 2016 because they moved it to the bottom of the door and put on on the side of the hood.
Awesome just awesome the way Ford has styled this 1 its menacing and proud to be. 460 ponies is plenty and I love the exterior and interior of this horse. Would love to see a 2020 Ford Explorer ST with a drive 1 day. Thanks Joe.
Beautiful car! I'd prefer a different color though. Black looks good when its clean, but it easily shows up dirt and swirl marks. Don't know how much more the C/S model is over the standard GT, but C/S version is too close to 50g for me. I thought the standard GT was in the low 40's, but I could be wrong. Since the difference is mainly cosmetic, I could make what changes that appealed to me later on, down the road, little by little. Great presentation Joe, as usual. Keep em' comin', thanks!

I love the extra chrome. The 50th anniversary edition had it too. I think you can get it with the Pony Package this year but you have to get some other stuff too.
Sweet ride. C’mon Ford give us Texans a lone star edition. And Joe you see the last front engine corvette sold for 2.7 million? That just blows my mind. Can’t wrap my head around that price.
I'm personally not a fan of the GT/CS but I like it. For all Mustangs (Not including the Eco Boost) they are almost perfect. I would say my personally rating is 9 out of 10. To make it a 10 out of 10 Ford will need to have nation wide Lease programs/incentives on the 5.0 and higher Mustangs. And do something regarding the 5.0 engine tick. Some owners are stilling having the issue.
Low production numbers, is what makes them unique, in 2012 they only made 133 verts in Race Red, and only 46 with 6speed, and only 18 have the Shaker 1000, I've had it for 6 years, il keep it forever, even when I do upgrade.
Another great video. You are close to convincing me to get a Mustang, but probably something with a PP1 and a 10 speed. Will see how much that adds to the tab.

It's a nice looking GT Joe, but I agree with the zonk on the fake side scoops - that's a deal killer for me. The CS and the GT350/500 aren't available in Oz. I'm kinda surprised we even got Bullitts actually, though all the dealers marked them up by around $20k. I'll still be happy when I finally get to pick up my GT though :)
Is there any kind of reason as to why mustang still uses a prop rod instead of the hydraulic struts?Is it a money thing .They should have both.That way if those hood struts happen to go defective you have the prop rod as back up until you replace the struts.Like a spare tire if you will.The red stitching looks real nice.
Question you may or may not have the answer to! I have a 16GT cali special. I love it for the most part, except the dorky lookin hood decals, that fade away black. I like the side ones, but is there a safe way to remove the ones on the hood?
Looked at one of those the other day. Just can’t justify the extra money for a trim package. If I’m dropping that extra dough I’d rather have more go-fast bits. PP2 heading my way soon!
How does the power feel on this one with a manual compared to the pp1 im looking at both cars love them both just curious too know if their is a power difference or if it’s the same thing power wise

The 401A seats is replaced by the CS ones. I heard a lot of good things about 401A seats. Anybody knows which one is better between these two? Thanks!

I’ve met a lot of owners complaining of knocking issues in the engine of this car. Ford knows of this problem but won’t admit.

They made 4100 of these cs over the years .Started making them in 68
