    I wish Sony made the psvr2 a pcvr headset as well. That’s the reason I didn’t buy one even though I had a ps5 is because it only does one thing. At least the quest headsets can do pcvr even if not very well.

    I believe a Headset combined with a Kinect 3.0 would actually be pretty kick ass. if they could also at the same time release at least 2-3 AAA titles for VR at launch with more on the way. VR would explode in way it never has before.

    I was just talking to my friends about this but if xbox does ever make a VR headset I would think they should try to team up with Valve to make one and design it for Xbox and PC (Game pass). I would love to see CoD campaigns redesigned for VR such as MW19 and MW2 campaigns were so good, but theres other games with just as much or more room to test it on such as older assassins creed games such as Unity. Also just subbed, love this video a lot.

I struggle to feel the same about any other type of game though it might be a fun experience to try out once in a while. we need more games or activities that once experienced in vr makes the old way of doing things completely undesireable.

Its a good strategy,because they'll have a serious advantage compared to xbox if that ever happens but they need to push more. Yeah they'll lose money at first but they could gain so much more in the future.

    I think there going to fall behind Sony if they don’t - as the vr headsets become more user friendly then as vr gaming is more immersive and you can even play 2d games in these headsets as well on an even larger screen than what most people have as tv’s and you can also play these 2d games on a tv or monitor as well with the PlayStation 5 or a pc and you don’t need a tv to do this - so why would you want to go Xbox route when your only limited to 2d games ? There’s even a new PlayStation portable handheld you can play PlayStation 5 games on or steam portable being released now when your on the move - so the only reason I can think of are some of the Xbox exclusives but other than that what can they offer ?
    Only way is if the they produce a killer vr headset or some kind of go-between eg holographic route as this may be more suitable for 2d gamers who want more immersion but don’t want the hassle of putting a vr headset. 3D games were great and am not sure today why it all went out (try playing trine on a 3D cinema - wow!- what if they produced a 3D 4K portable projector and allowed there games to have a 3D option ? . I also liked the idea of the ambi- light system Xbox were going to introduce for the Xbox 360 but changed there minds .
    Like I said , Microsoft will need to come up with some innovative ideas if they want to compete with Sony in the future .

    Nice video and interesting theme... I'm not an X-box owner. I think I even never ever played on one. Anyways, why should they make a headset? The costs of developing is stupidly high. But since there are already so many headsets on the market, why don't they make games that can be used in a headset? Why not integrate the possibility to play a game on a console, PC or headset? I have game(s) that can be played both on my headset in VR or on my flatscreen....

    • @RealityBreakVR
      @RealityBreakVR  Год назад +2

      Yea, a few others have had the same sort of opinion, that xbox should focus on producing titles for vr rather than making their own headset in a somewhat saturated market. I actually agree as well, though it would be cool to see how microsoft could push VR hardware!

  • @henkdevriesch
    @henkdevriesch Год назад

    I don't think they should make one, the money isn't made with headsets anyway but with games.
    However they SHOULD support third party headsets. Minecraft for example is one of my most played vr games; it supports openXR without any modding required. I don't really understand why they wouldn't want to bring that to Xbox; the real work is already done and it would be such a cost-effective way to go after PSVR without any real effort or investment...

    Dude, wtf is this video. First of all, XBOX refuses to make a VR headset because they don't want to be called a "Sony clone" and oculus is already the top selling headset, so why would they compete in a competition they will not win in? They don't see this "90% dont use on a monthly basis" crap and think "Oh no! nobody will use it!" Because at the end of the day it doesn't matter how many people use it, they bought it already so who cares what happens with it after. You should've fact checked more in this, but ah well, can't hate on a mans first attempt at RUclips.

    • @RealityBreakVR
      @RealityBreakVR  Год назад

      You make valid points, but, Xbox isn't a primarily hardware based company. Infact, Xbox lose money on consoles. Meaning, software makes up the majority of their profits. So if they started making a VR headset they would definitely want to make sure people spent time and money on software (like games) so that they can actually turn a profit on the headset. And to do that, they need the retention rate to be a lot higher. This isnt my "first" video per say, I have had previous channels in the past :)
