Awesome, subscribe ✌ my little orange tool is arrived ( Lehle P -Split III) and when I see the two amps on stage (he should switch the phase / ground ) I get hungry to play my Marshalls togehter🍻
Considering they've been around since 96 you'd think more people would know who they are, especially being a Gothenburg band. Love Evergrey. Been part of the circle since In Search of Truth. Epically under rated.
Yep. In search of truth and Recreation Day are their peak. Although they've still maintained their dark melodic sound through the years. My favorite band.
@@danyeo Fuck all of those sterile digital modeling amps. They're convenient to use at home as practice amps, but they don't sound like real tube amps do for live performance.
@@TheMetalOG70 Yes.....but, A boss Katana MK Artist ain't bad. Ive been using one a lot, when tweaked it can sound really good. I actually prefer it over playing a modeler though PA or studio monitors. I'd still prefer a Mesa Mark series amp though.
This was awesome! Thanks for sharing. I've seen Evergrey a few times live and Henrik consistently has some of best tone & vibe out there. Love that dude.
I'm a huge fan of Evergrey since Solitude Dominance Solitude. That voice! Oh man! Tom is unique. This theater reminds me of A night to remember DVD, one of my favorites shows in decades! Thx Ola, truly Christmas gift!
I happened upon Evergrey just over 4 years ago when I heard "Passing Through", and for the love of all things in the World I couldnt understand how I didnt discover them before. I never read about them in the magazines I got, never noticed them online. Well, that utterly changed when I bought their entire catalogue and loved it all. Music thats passionate and cinematic that deserves Arena status. I cannot get over how underrated they are. Just bloody Brilliant.
I’ve said it for years, those old Mesa Boogie metal grill cabs are awesome. Gear snobs ignored them because they looked to metal. GE Smith used one for The Wall tour. They’re not just for metal
@@anahowana There was an old photo that Mesa used of Kirk from that era where he's leaning on one. Justice era was the first thing I thought of when I saw them.
Yes Sir that's true ! And almost three decades later I ended up with my first boogie poweramp thanks to Kirk promoting the brand back in AJFA days ! Cheers from Morocco.
Evergrey was the last show in Dallas I went to before Covid started......one of the best shows I've been to!

I first saw Evergrey back in 2004, in Istanbul. I did not know anything about the band, got in love, bought most of their albums after that festival. I hope they remember that show, because there was a huge storm behind the crowd, and Tom kept saying that the view was spectacular. Amazing band, their presence on stage is simply awesome. Thanks for this vlog Ola!
Totally Awesome! So glad for you to have this chance. That would be awesome if Henrik and you could collaborate on a song. I would definitely love to see this! You guys are some of my favorite Players out there.
Man !!! You killed it on stage while playing his rig 👍,perfect vibrato, great feeling, and you let those notes ring. Very well done, the master himself was amazed 👀 ! Keep it up bro ! 🍻
Now those are nice rigs , I bought the same amp and cab some years ago when they did a gear rundown on the Evergrey RUclips channel , that was before Hendrik had the Helios , also that’s about the time I started playing floyd rose bridges , hope to see them live again in the near future . Epic band
Thank you so much Ola! Evergrey & The Haunted are my favorite bands. Any I leave a comment on Henrick’s RUclips channel, he leaves a response. Both of you guys, and Tom are the best guitarist out there, in my opinion.
Caught these guys here in Virginia with Nevermore (the Loomis/Broderick era) in 2005 or so. It was one of those shows I look back at and at the time didn't appreciate what I saw.
Fuck that makes me want to go see them. The only time I did I missed most of their set because dumbass House Of Blues in Hollywood (RIP though...) opened the doors at the same time they went on so by the time I got through the line it was too late.
First VLOG in a while! Don't forget to subscribe to this second channel!

I need an Evergrey-At the gates- the Haunted tour coming to Argentina, please make it possible !!!!! xD
Hmm that bass looks pretty good!
Evergrey is a criminally underrated band. This was awesome!
I could not aggree more, man. They are insane.
I really think they're gonna be no the top in 2 years, they're just giving excellence un the last 2 albums
Never really heard them, but that sounds like it would be the name of a generic 90's band.
Who?
Considering they've been around since 96 you'd think more people would know who they are, especially being a Gothenburg band. Love Evergrey. Been part of the circle since In Search of Truth. Epically under rated.
Evergrey is a fantastic band, and Henrik's tone is insane!!
Been listening to Evergrey since Recreation Day. So cool to see this footage! Great band!!
That record was a MASTERPIECE
2001 for me
Yep. In search of truth and Recreation Day are their peak. Although they've still maintained their dark melodic sound through the years. My favorite band.
Nice to see tube amps and cabs
A digital modeler into the PA will never match the power and balls you feel from a kick ass tube setup on stage.

So glad you guys fired up those Bogners
I have that exact same (1990s) 2x12 vertical Mesa/Boogie cab. My god they sound brutal. Will never let mine go.
Cool man. Are there EV speakers in those cabs?
I have mad respect to Bassists to keep their setups real simple.
It was a great show! I stood 10 m away from you Ola.
Always wanted to try out Henriks rig also so i believe it was a blast! 🤘🏻
Wow! What a great evening to hang out with these legends. Great times. Thanks Ola!
Henrik's Bogners are earthy and throaty sounding with massive amounts of gain. And the master's hands. Sounds wicked when you dig into it.
Hermosoooo!!!! gracias!
Watching bands play out influences most of us!! I’m hungry for the live audience! Can’t wait to get on stage again!

P.S.: I really liked Henrik's boots!
I love Henrik's tone.....sick rig.
You need to get Tom Englund in one of your vlogs. He's a fantastic guitar player.
Is that Ola's brother?
He just did!

OG Boogie cabs. 🤘🏼
That new bass is sick man!
KickAss band for sure! I gotta start going to gigs again.... Fun times 😁
I love the Uber Rev Blue. It sounds so great.
Awesome Video Man! Love how Hendricks is fuckin with the pedals when you're playing and watching over you 😂❤
Holy shhhhhiiiiiitttt, that bass!
HORNS UP \,,/ from the USA! *2 heads and 3 cabs? Kudos for playing in front of Henrik… I’d most likely freeze up and forget even what a guitar is.
Nice vlog, Evergrey Rocks!
I recently bumped into Domkraft, Swedish band and man! Guys are brutal
That tone is GINORMOUS!!!! I bet in person its nauseatingly good.
Fantastic bad. Escape of the Phoenix was one of my favorite albums released this year.
Evergrey is a phenomenal band!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Bad Ass!! I love Evergrey!
Never heard their music before this video.... I like it!!!
haha this massive down pitching with the droptune ! But yeah this rig is sick
Killer vid ola thanks for sharing 🤘🤘
what's the title of the song in 13:59?
This is 'Eternal Nocturnal' from their newest Album Escape of the Phoenix

THE ESSENCE OF CONVICTIOOOOOON
Completely unrelated to the video, I just love that song by them

Love Evergrey!🤘🏻🎸
That was pretty cool!! I’ve had that MXR KFK pedal for about 10 years and I never use it
Is that the red bogner he let you use when you were at the old office ?
Yes!
Good memory Gorf! 🤘
You need that pedalboard with all those vintage pedals now... and send him a cockblocker! Lol
Someone help what song was a playing at 7:03 For the life of me it sounds familiar but I can’t pinpoint what it is

Great guitar tones, but he needs a cable change. I had the same problem, and some custom path cables makes to use no more noise gate.
This was great. I miss my uberschall. If you create an axe 3 patch for the Uber with an IR I will love you forever.
Wow the sound of his amps!!
Evergrey since first album DD, og here! Plus Tom sings in my best friends band REDEMPTION!
Your Apple Watch is kicking off about the volume levels 😃
great Vlog love these and that rig SSSSSSHHHHHHIIIIIIIITTTTTTT

that hum is crazy!
I love your life Henrik 🎸⭐️I’m living vicariously 😂 brothers
I love my bogners! And these guys are an epic band. Did anyone else see Tom using the “clean” Uberschall channel?? Interesting.

That's cool he has glow in dark tape for his drop pedal!!!I thought the green choruses were ts10 screamers at first.
what's the song at 13:58
found it, eternal nocturnal
Putting the string in backwards is actually a little safer......I dont remember the last time I changed strings and didn't end up bleeding.
Can't say I've ever bled when changing strings. 😂
Sounded sick! 🔥 🤘🏻
Just realised Henrik's signature guitar hasn't got a mic switch? How do you switch from the bridge-pickup to the neck-pickup? What am I missing here?
It’s a push push volume control to switch pickups
Wicked tone!
Well that was a sick rig if I ever saw one 😫😳🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Ok that Q zone thing gets you right in there!
