Denzel Washington became Malcolm for that role. I remember my history teacher back in middle school when the movie came out had encouraged us to go see it. Even my teacher said he was impressed by Denzel because he was so spot on with his portrayal of my greatest inspiration and hero.
My own people that I loved and respected had me thinking MX was a Black terrorist, when I was able to think for myself I realized they were so wrong. Denzel performance of Malcolm deserved every award that he was nominated for , there will never be another Malcom nor Martin
@@PHAmily32 💯 Malcolm was too powerful and inspirational to be honoured let's give to an accomplished actor portraying a clownish blind man who inspires one solitary white dude rather a man who inspired millions
I always wondered how Denzel could get so deep inside Malcolm's experience to produce such a masterful interpretation, and you fail to see that Islam is the way.
Watched the film and I bought the autobiography. What's interesting about him is how he carried himself , his speech and and you never hear any of the civil rights leaders of that time use profanity.
Malciom X came alive again when Denzel acted that part so well. I love Malcolm, I love Denzel and Becky and her children and every black person except Louis Farakhan.
There's millions of black people around the world who are far worst than Farrakhan, beginning with the former puppet in chief Obama and continuing with the many puppet leaders we have here on the African continent. Farrakhan can be criticised on many level, first and foremost his role in the assassination of Malcom, but he dedicated his life to a cause, for good and for worst, while many other just sold their souls for a slice if the devil's pie.
The Man who guided the foundation of Muslim mindest and thoughts in US...The great Malcom X...Definitely Islam recognises no colour supremacy...For us, Bilal was the first caller to Islam and he is a leader to us even during the day of judgement...Yes, I wish Denzel, Morgan Freeman, Wil Smith to embrace Islam before death...I love these people, their acting and their way if thinking...
This was Denzel at his best!! No one else even came close to portraying Malcolm, like Denzel did.
Yes truly. Denzel tried but he was not to close to Malcolm's character

And then they give the stupid Oscar to Al Pacino for acting blind
He should've got an Oscar for that role
Il me semble qu'en 1993 ,il a eu un Oscar pour le meilleur acteur.
@@DalilaBenessedik He lost his chance to Al Pacino
not in america
Legendary Denzel Washington was outstanding in the role!❤🙂 He embodied Malcolm X!
It doesn't matter what your color or nationality is. We are all of God's children ❤️🙏
Denzel was robbed
He should have won best actor and best picture.they gave it to him for training day to make up for it but this was his best role
He plays the part so well, you think he was Malcolm. Love Denzel.

Should have won an Oscar instead they gave it to Pacino for his least memorable performance
His receiving the Oscar of 'Training Day's is telling of the message the powers that be are sending to aspiring black actors and actresses

@@dpimpernell4050 Well said.
I Love Denzel in Everything he has acted in. His character offscreen has also proven to be positive. Thank you Denzel!

Protect your family. Know who your enemy is. Come together, know esoterism. Fanatical Heart. Fight. Defend. Protect.
Everyone still thinks he was robbed of a Oscar!!!!!!!!
