This is the EXACT functionality and design as my TFGEAR bivvy. Bought it about 10 years ago, still going strong and was about to £110. Came with two front panels (one see-through one covered) and a groundsheet.
Just ordered my rs150 and skull cap. Fookin expensive, but I’m away fishing for a week at a time on regular basis, so I need good gear. The bit I hate most is setting up and breaking down a bivvy, so the rs is just fantastic and easy.
Really like my 100T, well made and robust. Does what it's meant to. Not too sure I'd go for the knuckle/hinge system though, what's the wear and tear lifespan on them?
Im left wondering how long the pretty fragile looking plastic components are gonna last once you've laid out what is really an alarming amount of money for some Chinese nylon and a few poles 🤔
Love your honest reviews lads this system is class but deffo give it ten years before I’m in that level of angling 😂 Ngt got me while my young ones grow up then I see my Korda life begin…. it’s bait boat and gigantica in my future
I purchased my Sonik axs Bivvy, 3 extractor pro rods and 3 Shimano 10000XT reels and free fox deluxe tt barrow thrown in from TFT and I’m still not near the price of this Bivvy, but it is nice.
Pretty good and very useful to more mobile short stay anglers, although it flies in the face of current carp fishing practices of all these chaps who like to spend enough time in their peg until they have finally managed to bore one out,and not for those who can't be bothered to move all that bait, beer, baitboat, drone, food, bbq, bivvy table, bigbed, guest chair, trouser press etc.
Also, carpology congratulations on having the most amount of adverts in the quickest video. Still absolutely shocking how you keep putting so many of these monetised adverts on every single one of your videos
Nice to see its blacked out material... My 100T lets too much light and heat in during hot months... That's why I ended up getting a Fox Frontier... Best to look at reviews from anglers that have used something for a few months, especially on expensive items like bivvies.... Never known this channel to point out any bad points on anything...When pretty much every product on the market has pros and cons..
@@karldodd2343 you’ll get wet anyway by unpacking it, transporting it to your spot, putting the bedchair in etc etc… so imo those few seconds in regard to the old version ( that i have) is bs
Why does no one ever show how these "quickest bivvies/brollies in the world are to put up" are to put down!!! & don't say it's the reverse of putting it up, as you know that's not the case.
@@FixDylann no I'm not that dense, but cheers Dylann. Yes I saw how it went up from a distance , but since I don't have one I don't know if the ribs lock into place & if they do, how do they unlock.
I’m in the market for a bivvy at the moment, only for day sessions currently, but am thinking summer overnight trips could be on the cards… Might be a good opportunity not to buy cheap and twice!
I just don’t understand how every Bivvy is now getting dramatically bigger with extra height! We don’t all want something that resembles a caravan awning size Bivvy! The whole concept of the Bronny version was to be small, compact, light easy to use quick overnighters, and yet it’s now bigger taller bulkier heavier why? The Tempest air was the perfect size for these quick sessions sessions that you want a brolly style, Tempest for it, just needed a front an infill ! I agree that this new system is absolutely fantastic the ability to put up and collapse it so quickly is definitely a breakthrough for overnight Angling. However let’s keep a normal size bivvy in the range ffs 😂
I must admit I was shocked when noticed this. Don’t quite understand the logic. It’s quite the difference from my 10 year old Tempest which is still like new. However, as the years have gone by I do get a sore back from crouching in my bivvy so the extra height may prove to be an added bonus!
@Frank.van.schaik hi, what improvements on material? From what I know is the same aquatexx as is writed on it. Also when it rains still make those bubbles effect on interior ? Thank you
Fully happy with my 100t with all that additional equipment I got. Not gonna pay hell outta money for a few a seconds saved… who gives a shit bout that?
Warning. Carp tax extreme product. So an RS brolly is £694.97 ( current discounted price ) for the brolly, infill and groundsheet, an RS100 is £799 discounted... . You can get a Fox Frontier X full bivvy system for £479.99 discounted. If you keep on buying Trakker's extreme carp tax products their greed will never stop.. You can expect the 'cheap' Tempest 100T brolly to be removed from sale pretty quickly as it doesn't fit into Trakker's new extreme pricing policy just like the 100T Aquatexx got removed due to it being too cheap. RS bivvies and brolly are a nice product but it's just not worth the money.
Pricewise, everybody knows just to wait 12 months they’ll release a mark two version of the new RS and these will be half price along with every other accessory. Just like what’s happening now with the Tempest aquatexx EV! You can get a full EV brolly system and a wrap for less than 350 quid again this would’ve been close to 650 quid before!! vote with your feet people don’t buy these these new products at stupid RRP prices,
too much money for a bivy peopple!!! i did buy Radical Insist Bivvy 235x300x150cm for 300 buks and i love it 🥰 you peopple go to buy the tempest 200 bivy for 999 hahahhaha you are insane

Ill stick with the prologic slr, may take a few seconds longer to set up but it comes with everything and half the price
Same here
Over £850 for a bivvy and £475 for a brolly! I am so glad I got out of this mugs game.
Then an extra £150 for the front infill panel & another £70 for the groundsheet. Nearly £700 for a biv setup.
Ive got a 100t , honestly these are quality

Avid a bivvy like this too - both I can afford had for young anglers just so expensive- but they look great 👍

like to see the rs 150 set up
does the rs have the same aquatexx material as the tempest aquatexx EV

Nice but those prices are shocking.
Why the storm poles??!
Also the most expensive. Good idea, but the cost is stupid

A bivvy actually worth getting for once 🤣

Genuinely do not understand the need for every shelter to be "rapid" 45secs to put it up, 48hrs to sit under it 😂😂
