Hmmm. Back when riding shirts were a new idea they were a good deal cheaper than both normal riding jackets and armoured undershirts by the likes of Knox. I bought a Knox Urban Pro from UR a couple of summers ago… includes a back protector, and I can now ride with any shirt in my wardrobe, or jumper, or jacket, or t-shirt, or dressing gown. 😂 Not UR’s fault, but the manufacturers are now charging full jackets money.
We will be expecting the RUclips Short of you riding in your dressing gown 😉
Interesting that out of all of the shirts the Oxford is the only one that cares about your motorcycles paint job. (Hidden Bottom buttons).
So Oxford is the winner I see. AAA for that price? Impressive. The other brands should overthink their pricing lol
Man they are expensive
They are considering the market. No way I'd be wearing a AA or AAA jacket/shirt on urban roads.
I'm highly disappointed that only Oxford considers covered buttons to protect the tank from scratches.
We're still waiting for the promised "Top 5 mesh jackets" :)
I'll make it easy for you 😏
Knox action shirt
Knox Urbane Pro MK 2/3
Pando moto Skin UH
I own the Merlin Brody and it's a fantastic shirt. Very comfortable and flexible and I recently rode it in 27C weather and it was nice and cool as well. Can't recommend it enough.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Great review , we see a lot of plad shirt in NA ... nice looking shirts and great review Alain & Yellow
Just buy an armoured base layer, RST even do an airbag one (although no abrasion resistance - dumb), then you can wear whatever shirt (or hoodie etc) you like.
I wear Pando Moto Shell UH with a racing Jersey

Hmm, really looking for Mansion in black L for a while now in the EU but none of the dealers seem to be able to get them from Belstaff the past few months.
Hi, We do have in stock and we ship worldwide! - Iza
good weather?
Which has the best airflow? I’ve been looking at shirts for a while, but nothing is said about breathability. The Merlin appears to be the best looking of the group, but the Belstaff is close.
Hi, for most breathability we would recommend looking at a Mesh jacket, you can find our range here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/jackets/vented.html - Iza
I'd recommend the Merlin Axe for ventilation. The weave of the check fabric is quite open and at anything above 15mph the breeze will go straight through.
It is a few years old now, and I think only comes in check fabric, not like the current crop of plain riding shirts, but I've not found anything else as ventilated short of moving to mesh.
One thing to note, it is only single A rated.
You put out a vid about summer riding shirts and it turns cold and wet.
I'm blaming you, Tim.
Hahah!
Belstaff always the bollocks
Full of microplastics now...bollocks that is. Look it up.

Still chucking it down here in the midlands. Thanks climate change.
