Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. I wish they had given a deeper insight into the Prince's mother. I think it would fill the missing gaps of the story. We would get to know about their relationship and how the Beast is still suffering after his loss.

I would have loved to seen the interaction between Belle and Agathe the bread and jam. It may look like a small gesture, but I think it showed Agathe (The Enchantress) that there are people out there who can see past an outward appearance. I also would have loved to see the cut version of "Days In the Sun" in the movie. Harriet Jones is one of my favorite Christine Daaés from Phantom of the Opera, and I think having that little part of The Beast's mother in the movie would have shown where he got his compassion, kindness and humanity from.
I think you're right, Miranda; even though they're just small moments/changes, they would have made quite a difference if they'd been in the final film. :-)
It also would have explained why Agathe the enchantress also thought that Belle would be the best idea for the Beast if you kind of notice in the film there is almost a magical forcefulness to Belle finding the castle.

I loved these deleted scenes. The scene between belle and agatha would have shown the heart that belle had. I did notice the baguette disappear. It would have shown her caring nature for everyone around her. Giving her some BREAD AND JAM would have breathed more life to the film. I hope I win the book!

Loved Beauty and the Beast which I wasn't expecting to at all. The 'jam and bread' scene with Belle and Agathe should have been left in.
Love the Elegancy of this film, they really did an amazing job on all the characters. The movie was touching and jaw dropping! Belle gives Agathe bread and jam! ❤️
I'm really sad they changed the song "Days in the sun." I felt that that could've been a heat warning moment that had people on there feels and more of a better story line. Belle gave her jam and bread. although this was a amazing movie I'm excited to see my personal favorite Disney move Mulan come to live action !!!

Would have loved to see the Beast's mother as portrayed in the deleted scene. Like you said that would have added more emotion to the scene. I am so excited about The Lion King becoming a live action movie! Thanks for sharing! And Belle gives Agatha bread and jam in the deleted scene.

YES! It's now 2020 and they still have never released that deleted version of where the Prince emerges from the rose petals shirtless. To see that would be priceless. And it must be around somewhere....why not finally include in "deleted" scenes along with all the others?

I love this movie so much! My boyfriend bought both the original animated version and live action for me yesterday. I love the new take on it and how it fixes plot holes and such.

I think the scene with Agatha and Belle should be included. Where Agatha was given the Jam and Bread by Belle. You can really see how kind hearted she is. Also, the scene of little prince with the queen. Just to give us a little bit background. I would love to hear Days in the sun because every song in this movie is fantastic!
Actually, I'm also curious why Cogsworth during the reunion with his wife. She called him Henry, instead of being happy he keeps on saying "turn back to clock". Grey area to me. Like are they in bad terms? He wanted to turn back to a clock? The deleted scene answered my questions haha. They really are in bad terms. Cogsworth, tho cursed still retained his memory yet he fought with his wife hahaha.
To your next question, I would love to see "Brother Bear" the story is so beautiful and made me cry. If not Brother Bear, I think "Aladdin". I just saw a while ago Lea and Brad (the real singing voice of aladdin) singing a whole new world with alan menken after 25years since it was created 🎉 Still magical, It is like older Jasmine and Aladdin singing a whole new world after what they've been through. Thanks again for the deleted scenes 👍🏻

I love the Song "Evermore". I think that this song shows the audience the feelings that the beast is going through when Belle leaves him. Belle gives Agatha Bread and Jam!
Would have liked to have seen more of the Prince's mother, and perhaps more of his father! Agatha is given the baguette and jam by Belle :) I'm looking forward to Cruella though - especially if it's as good as Maleficent!

The deleted scene from clocksworth fighting in the battle was SO needed!!! Why did they cut it out, it was the pay off for all the moment were he wasn't brave enough to do something!
I subscribed and turned on post notifications and i really love how similar, interesting, beautiful and nostalgic the movie was. it was beautifully coordinated with the older version

I absolutely love this movie. Growing up, Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite movie. I wish all the deleted scenes could have been included, but it would have made the movie so much longer, so I can see why they wouldn't have worked. Belle gave Agathe bread and jam.

I wished that the part where Belle gives Agathe the bread and jam would've been in the movie. That makes me love Belle even more! This movie is amazing and one of my favorites! Beautifully done!💜 Oh and she gave Agathe bread and jam... A bagette I believe.

I love watching the deleted scenes and I was sad that the cut but in this day and age you can always still see them on the DVDs

I love the movie, but felt it left me wanting more, and now that I’ve seen the deleted scenes I feel some of them would have added to the movie rather than taking away from it, no matter the running time. Such as the mob breaking through the gates, the princes mother singing to him would have been nice to see, and belle’s interaction with the enchantress in the village.
Thanks for the video, really enjoyed it! Belle gave agatha Bread (baguette) and Jam, and the scene I was most sad to see go was definitely the scene with the Beast's mother, totally agree that they could have just reshot the scene with a different hair colour.

beauty and the beast was so beautiful. i loved alan menken's scores and everyone in the cast as they so perfectly fit their roles (especially their singing). but what i loved the most about live action version is that they stayed true to the original story and added more backstory to the lovable characters. belle gives agitha bread and jam, also her kindness ;) lol

She gives Agatha bread and jam which is so sweet and kind. Belle has always been my favorite Disney Princess and because of that, I was very apprehensive about this movie. But overall, I do enjoy it very much. The new songs are incredible, as are the originals. This film is just wonderful!

I heard somewhere about the change in the scene of Days in the Sun and you just confirmed it ! I would have loved to see the original scene... it gives you more context about the back story of the Beast.

I think Disney absolutely did a great job with the live action version. Before, I was skeptical that they would live up to the first but in the end I think they did just as good or maybe even better than it. Belle gives Agathe bread and jam :)

I really do feel bad about Harriet Jones having her scene almost entirely removed from the film! She must have been devastated. I'm surprised no one had noticed the similarity between the two of them (mother & Agathe) prior to the casting. I definitely think Agathe should have had a larger part in the film. It would have been nice to see Belles interaction with her (baguette + jam). It would have cleared up a few things!

I loved this movie so much and I love how they do this as a live action movie it was so amazing
And i saw the deleted song version of Days in the song, and it also looked like Belle also had sung some different lines that was no in the film version, and even Beast had some lines where in the film he didn't sing at all. The film ended up with a total of 2 hours and 9 minutes, which again is longer then any of the more recent remakes of the Disney live action versions of the animated movies.

I loved the film very much and I think my favourite part was - besides more depth and sophistication and the extension of the characters - that the role of the enchantress was way more integrated into the story as in the animated film. It was great to see more of her, especially in the beginning of the film and when she nurses Maurice after Gaston had left him to die in the forest.

I wish they had, like you said, redone the mother's scene with a dark wig. It pulls at your heart just imagining what it would have been like. It also would have made the scene with the Beast seeing Belle's childhood home more power. Sad that it was dropped. Unlike the other scenes it would have added a lot to the move. Belle gave Agatha a Baguette and a jar of jam.
I first watched the film on Xmas Day 2017 and have watched it so many times since, I know most of the words and tunes, I love the part when Belle and Beast are dancing, the yellow dress is gorgeous. I love beast as the beast. I absolutely love this film
I would have loved for the scene where the Beast is dreaming of his mother singing Days in the Sun, him as a young boy ending the scene singing the song where his mother has died, and then wondering why she left him.
I loved the movie and got it when it came out on DVD and Blu-ray. Belle gives Agathe a baguette and jam.
Bread and Jam that shows her kindness and explains why the bread is missing! I think both the lasses with the pitchforks as well as the saving Lumiere scene should have been kept in. I love books on the making of...I am a retired teacher out on disability and I love and adore how to books and t.v. shows!

Oh, yes, I remember seeing Malese in The Flash! And I think Ritesh had a part in The Jungle Book, which could be good for him as he's already part of the Disney family and they often employ the same actors more than once! :-)

It seems that most of these scenes would have been rather small additions which would have ultimately made the end result just that much better, but I get the time thing. I can understand cutting scenes like with Monsieur Toilette, although I would have liked seeing Stephen Merchant in the film. I hadn't noticed the baguette disappearing, but now that I know, I definitely would have liked to see Belle give Agathe the bread (and jam) as she went about her provincial life. Belle give Agathe a baguette and jam. I love the movie and was so happy it was changed into live action. I loved Evermore as Belle was leaving the castle, it was such a cute moment but it bought a tear to my eye. I would've loved the scene when they are walking to the castle which is symbolic for the beast scaring them away.

Belle gives agathe jam and a baguette. I read the novel and I felt like the belle and agathe scene should have been added in. This is one of my favorite adaptation especially how they paid attention to detail. I love that Mrs. Potts had gold makeup when she is transformed back. It shows that was her makeup for the party but also matches the design of the China. I love in the intro how chip runs in the room to make it seem like he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I also noticed that when the beast takes belle to Paris and she wants to go back, she doesn't say let's go back to the castle, she asked him to take her back home. It shows that Belle is slowly accepting the castle as home. I can't wait to see lion king.
I'd love to have seen all these scene on the final cut, but as it is many people already comment on the movie "dragging its runtime", in the end they did what was best for the movie.

I like the gestures of Belle for the 'poor' Agatha. It makes Belle more over being a outsider but the kindest person in this little town of discourteous people.

The live action remake was so well put together, casting was amazing and the motion capture felt so real I almost forgot it was fake. Such a beautiful movie. Agathe is given Jam and Bread from Belle :) So nice seeing the extra's I wish they kept the original Days In The Sun. It was amazing acting and singing, would have made the scene more emotional than it already was.

Beauty and the Beast was an amazing movie. I really enjoyed how each actor and actress brought there character from a cartoon to a human. I felt that it was a wonderful production from the costumes to the h/m to the magnificent singing. I really felt the connection between the characters and audience and I wanted to actually be part of the movie!!!!

A tremendous job by Dan Stevens, considering the fact he's not a singer, per se. But he continually stretches his talents and this is a gorgeous song sung with great passion.
I really liked the action of the movie and I love how hey made everything feel so real and alive. Belle gives agathe some bread and jam.
I very sad because my sister never got to watch the movie but now she is going to miss so many good parts!. I wished everything was included in the movie.
