You greatly underestimate Diana Shnaider, yesterday’s winner in Bad Homburg (on grass) and Yulia Putintseva, who won a Birmingham tournament on grass, just 8 days ago. You seem to forget, that rankings aren’t playing on the court, real people are playing on the court. Those two are well placed to bring about a big suprise to this tournament.
Hey everybody! I recorded this video prior to Aryna Sabalenka opening up on her shoulder injury. Doesn’t sound good!
In case anyone missed it here’s the article: www.tennis.com/news/articles/aryna-sabalenka-carries-annoying-injury-uncertain-wimbledon-campaign-not-100-percent
Anyway...you funny guy😀
@@omega7419 This whole story with Sabalenka's health worries me because it looks like it may be something more serious. I hope I am a bad prophet for her absence, for a longer time, would be very noticeable. Sabalenka high-class, distinctive style of play and her colorful character, on and off the court, are irreplaceable. I wholeheartedly wish Aryna health and health once again.
Iga faces a difficult task, but it is a chance for us to see Iga fighting with the upper elite of the grass game, almost at every level of the ladder. Even though it's grass, I think that this year Iga will reach the final and win it. For every player who will meet Iga at this year's Wimbledon, it will be Dead End. A street you can't leave without failure. I wouldn't count out Paolini, who can reach high levels, and the joke of heaven this year would be the Iga vs Jasmine final. Koko Gauff is one of my favorites and may surprise us.
Stay tuned for Monday! I have a video coming out on Iga’s road to the a championship and how it can be doable!
@@johnericpoli John, I will definitely watch your program on Monday and I will subscribe to your channel for I can learn a lot from you. For me the hardest and most important match for Iga will be her first with Kenin. This is the only player that can upset Iga early in the tournament.
Honestly I think ostapenko will upset her if the meet she is a big hitter and on grass it suits big hitters and she has confidence. Her matches with iga has not even been competitive
@@clintinb5219 Yes, the records of Iga vs Jelena show that Jelena had, in her style, winning formula with Iga. But due to age difference Iga is getting better and better, visibly noticeable, when Jelena is just maintaining her level of playing great tennis. Today it is hard to say who is number 2 in women tennis, and Ostapenko is far away of taking this position. Even if Iga looses I prefer to see her playing Ostapenko than Rybakina. To this day I am not able to figure out what is the secret of Ostapenko success with Swietek. Maybe you can tell me what makes her so successful with Iga? Thank you for your reply.
Pegula vs Coco in the final...
To win at grass court, Iga should have strong services, easy slapping return balls down the road and easy handling skidding balls.
