  • The 2024 Wimbledon championships start soon the women's draw has many people talking. Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka face early challenges in the draw while Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina have easier paths to the title. Can a former ladies champion like Rybakina or Vondrousova lift the title again? Or will a first-time major winner like Ons Jabeur win the trophy?

    Truly loving the consistent content Christian. I have Sabby winning the tournament if her shoulder is well. If not then I'm betting against all odds and will have Alycia hoisting the Venus Rosewater Dish to become a slam champ for the first time. She has Serena helping her with her mental and playing well on the grass.
    Good luck to all the ladies.

    I think if Rybakina is healthy she’s the winner. I would love to see how far Osaka gets. Hopefully Coco makes it to the second week. The second round will be an improvement, and I’ll take it. Iga’s draw is a rough one for her. Unfortunately, I don’t see her making it to the second week, but I would love it if she proves me wrong. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication for these videos .

    The top half of the draw is really tough. The draw system is based on the wta rankings rather than the surface record.

    I’m loving this #2 for Coco! She’ll remain number 2 unless Saba gets to the finals. As far as Rybakina goes, I just don’t see the fire in her right now. Something off the court is happening preventing her from playing her best. I don’t see her being able to get past that so soon and take Wimbledon. She has not been performing well in Slams. I do think Ons will go far, possibly semis. Iga will be gone by 3rd round. I think Coco will the last big seed.

    • @trommelbiel
      @trommelbiel 7 дней назад +1

      I don't see Ons making it anywhere close to the finals. Her spirit may be willing but the flesh is clearly weak. There are many younger players who can easily beat her. Coco's performance especially against her American compatriots can be shakey at best.

      Gauff got to second place thanks to the weakness of Sabalenka and Rybakina. Unlike Gauff, Świątek has the ability to develop her way of playing.

    I'm sticking with Sabalenka as my pick just because she's been the most reliable of all the favorites as far as making it to the final rounds in majors over the last couple years. The injury situation does concern me, but I'm just gonna hope for the best. I made the mistake of sleeping on Carlos and Jannik at RG because of their injuries lol
