0:15 You know what? That really bothers me. It wasn't a dull season. We got a lot of incredible racing, and great battles all over the field. Just because someone ran away from the title doesn't mean the season was dull
Title fight was literally non existent. That is the first step to having a good overall season. There’s always been great battles in the midfield but they are shown a lot more when a driver is winning 19 out of 22 Grand Prix and getting 10 wins in a row. That’s the whole point of this championship, to highlight the midfield.
@Kinggrave It wasn’t just midfield. It was also on top. Yes, Verstappen escaped with the wins, but the second place changed every other weekend. Three drivers finished within 1 point of each other for fourth, and Sainz was only six points further back. Aston went from 2nd in Cosbtructors to fifth, McLaren went from last to fourth, and Ferrari and Mercedes went to the very wire. 11 drivers scored a podium, and, courtesy of Pérez, almost every driver in the top 9 got a second place. We also got really good races, like Canada, Britain, Zandvoort, Italy, Vegas, and Brazil. It was a great season, and not having a title fight doesn't take that away from it.
@LeonardoAldana43 maybe I’ve got high expectations but this wasn’t a great year. It was an alright year devoid of any title fight where 1 driver won 19/22 races and 1 team won all but 1 race. Stories were good yes, midfield fight was good yes (hence why this points system made it so good) but every season has great races. 2019 was a pretty shit year but it had hockenheim and Brazil to carry its reputation. 2020 was a shit year and was decided before it even begun but we still got some banging races. I could name great races from every season so just because 2023 had some does not make it a great year. Maybe it was your first and if so, welcome, we do not discriminate. But look forward to the next few seasons because years like 2023 don’t come around very often in terms of their dominance(last times were probably 2013 and 2004)
@Kinggrave I see the problem here. You are focusing too much on a title fight. Not every season is 1982. Sometimes, a single driver and a single team run away. That doesn't make a season boring. You just admitted 2020 was a shit fight, but had good races. It's the same with 2023. There was no title fight, but the racing was good, and the battles were good. It was the most bunched up field since 2012, and even 2nd place was up for grabs. Just a piece of advice for you: stop focusing so much on fights for wins. Yeah, they're good and all, but it deprives the view of the whole panorama, and the awesome fights and battles not even two positions behind
@LeonardoAldana43 @LeonardoAldana43 well done you just confirmed my point. Shit year but good races. Like I said before, every season has great races and every year has great midfield fights. But guess what, the midfield isn’t what makes people remember these seasons. There’s a reason 2012 is legendary, there’s a reason 2021 is arguably the greatest season of all time. Because there was a title fight PLUS all these incredible fights in the midfield. What I’m saying is every season has great midfield fights (the whole point of this series) but that doesn’t mean it’s a good year. If we’re talking about who came 2nd more than who came first and if we’re seeing more of alpine in 10th place than the person in 1st, it’s not a good year, sorry to burst your bubble. 2024 was an amazing year. Yes the title fight was a bit far fetched but 7 drivers won MULTIPLE races. 7?! That’s what you call a great year, not one where we knew who would win every race, not one where 1 driver lead every lap, won every race by 30 seconds, won the title in May and only 2 other drivers won a single race. Just drop it man, 2023 was an average year for f1
Inconsistency 😂 Occasionally they’re good and sometimes they’re bad. It also helps that they see the worst out of the top 4 teams and so would always score points no matter how high or low which is what wins championships in this points system
@@Kinggrave Vettel: 37 points. Stroll: 18 points. In that garbage of an aston.. plus being 2nd year in the back of midfield surely makes you go slower because you just don't enjoy it...
@steveb_ exactly and Vettel was definitely showing his age and passion. Like the screenshot I showed in the video, stroll beat Vettel over their 2 seasons 23-19.
@Kinggrave if you weaken your passion it doesn't means you are washed... You see, Hamilton this season was also much less passionate and was vocal about it.. I would argue he is still very much there
Very interesting to see Mercs points being only 28 off of their real points tally in the normal 23 season. This points system would be very interesting to see on many other years!
Not really, in both scoring system 5-6th place is almost worth the same, so if the team consistently finished 5-6th, their points taly would be identical in both systems
But that’s the thing no team finishes 5th and 6th every race. They vary from high positions to low ones constantly. Mercedes won because Hamilton consistently finished races and was pretty low in them
As a Alpine and Mercedes fan I don't know if I did to be happy or not? I'm happy because a 1-2 still a 1-2 but It means Alpine and Mecedes are mid field teams
Alpine are and have always been a midfield team. More surprising for Mercedes tbh. I’d be more worried about them especially with antonelli being unproven
Btw mate have you done Mitsubishi in f1 24 or f1 manager yet as they are a really good Japanese car manufacturer who are co owned by Renault and Nissan.
im depressed now that Gasly binned it from 1st in the championship to 5th :(
I mean that technically means he wasn’t finishing in tenth which if your above tenth that’s kinda good for him
It is sad but like the other commenter said, it shows that he was driving pretty well
Suffering from success
RedBull, with those steady 10th places every weekend.
Consistently getting 1 point per race 😎
Dont forget checo destroying max with constant podiums
Unironically Checo might be near the top of the reverse place grid in 2024
Especially when Checo is set to leave Red Bull after the Abu Dhabi GP
You would be very correct. Look out for that video very soon
he keeps finishing out of points so i dont think he would make top 10 here in this list
@prakharsingh8746 👀👀
its lewis 💀💀
6th place in the constructors for a team with 20 wins
Perez tax
Keep these videos coming! I like how you recap what actually happens in the races and highlight the battles
Thank you man I love making them as well so I’ll be sure to keep going

How is Ferrari competing at the front and bottom of the field at the same time 😭😭

Great Video mate, road to 10k!
Thank you mate I can’t wait for it
"Reverse F1 point system champion you'll never sing that" 🗣️
😂😂😂
What a video mate! Underrated channel fr
Thank you so much man I really appreciate it 💜💜
@Kinggrave Keep it up man you gained a subscriber :)
@stojekk will do. Thank you mate :)
2024 is 100% perez the champion
👀👀
with how good this video is, im confident that u can get that 7.5k subs :)
It’s gonna be pretty hard and it is a pretty outlandish goal, but I appreciate that 💜 Glad you liked the video as well
Let's go one of my favorite F1 youtubers uploaded
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It’s crazy that 2nd to 5th were the same teams in both championships, just in a different order
That is pretty surprising icl
Amazing video
Thank you mate xx
i love these types of vids
Love to hear it because I love making them
"Washed Vettel" kinda disgrace
Not really. When you’re getting beaten by stroll it shows you have slowed down and Vettel had unfortunately slipped into father time

Verstappen p10 merchant
Facts I don’t know what the fuss is about

Mate I'm sorry for not commenting sooner 😭 but another interesting way to look at things!
All good and glad you liked it!
After the current 2024 season ends, you should do this again with it
I have already got it prepared and ready to go. Might even come out on the day of Abu Dhabi or maybe the day afyer
Cant wait for perez to win in 2024

Can we get a 2024 version mate, the record breaker could have even more wild stuff in reverse points.
It is on the way. I’m trying to release it tomorrow
Btw mate have you done Mitsubishi in f1 24 or f1 manager yet as they are a really good Japanese car manufacturer who are co owned by Renault and Nissan.
@crispybacon8078 maybe in the future but I’ll probably be doing less 10 years sims in the future so I can’t guarantee it, sorry
Minecraft music again. This is the music that used to play during the mini games like the glide and battle mini games back in the day
Oh man the good times 🥲
This points system definitely benefits Perez over max lol
Yo where’s a 2024 version this is awesome
It’s in the works and will be out very soon
2022? You did 2021, 2023, 2024
Yep we are working on that. The order is messed up because I had to use a banging season like 2021 as the tester to see if people liked the concept
What video will u be posting next vid? I really wanna know (btw I like how you did this video)
Thank you. My next video will be the 2024 season with this points format
Alpine mutiple reserve point sistem WDC and WCc
bro called vettel washed
He was literally retiring and getting beaten by stroll. That’s quite possibly the definition of washed
The 2023 F1 season will be a season to forget because Verstappen was a dictator and dominated the championship like he ruled the world.
Couldn’t have said it better myself 😂
The formula midfield championship 😅
And over take bottass in 6th in the alfa Romario how? 1:20
2024 hulk v alonso yeahhh
Gonna be a great fight 👀
The Minecraft music 😭😭
It’s good though isn’t it 😂
So Alpine was the best ''mid team'' this season ?? XD
As they are in most years, yes 😂
how shit was sainz in 2023
Ferrari weren’t great tbf
Slowest lap point?
No. Too much work 😂
What a pointless and meaningless video
Yeah, because Verstappen's 2023 domination is a complete joke.
