- We have all seen what happened in 2021. Max v Lewis, TeamLH vs the Verstappen Shaggers on Twitter (that war reduced by brain cells from 3 to 1). Silverstone, Monza, Abu Dhabi and all of the Michael Masi scandals. But what if we eliminated this from the title fight by focusing on the rest of the grid. And I don't mean 20th placed Nikita Mazepin, I mean the drivers in the midfield actually fighting for crucial points. So what if we made it that 10th place gave 25 points, 9th gave 18 and so on. How much of an effect would it have? Would it be as close as the fight in real life was? Well that is for you to find out. Spoilers: It was just as close.

Welcome to another F1 24 Simulation video. This time we probably simulated 10 seasons in the game with or without a new random team added in like lotus or porsche or any car brand to be honest. I hope you enjoy this one though because there was probably some crazy cool moves such as max verstappen going to mercedes or hamilton going to ferrari or norris going to red bull. Something like that idk its completely random. Subscribe if you like it though because we are building something great here :)
Even in this weird points system, Alonso just misses out on a championship.

If it gives you someone to look forward to as an Alonso fan (apart from newey going to Aston Martin) I’ll tell you that in 2024’s version of points alonso is currently sitting 2nd, just 10 points behind 1st after Singapore. It will be a great video when I make it at the end of the season

Alpine basically re-enacting McLaren 2007 AGAINST McLaren is the funniest thing ever
It was always gonna happen seeing as much ocon and Alonso hate each other
This is the funniest alternate reality for the finale
Leclerc in the lead, Ocon in 2nd, Alonso in 3rd, Norris in 4th
Norris can see the two Alpines ahead of him, and he needed to make sure he was directly behind Alonso
All Alpine had to do was swap the 2 cars, for second, not even for the win, but Ocon refuses because he was still technically in title contention himself
The two Alpines cross the line in that order, they win the constructors, Norris wins the title, and Alonso and Ocon finish 2nd and 3rd
Cue the utter meltdown

Yeah those types of videos have been done in the past but I haven’t seen one where the order of points was reversed. I don’t know if I should change the title a little bit

what if you used a system where the most points are for p10, but then they taper off at the same pace going forward and backward, so that both p1 and p19 are worth 1 point, while both p9 and p11 are worth 18. that'd mean the only place with no points is 20th, and it would allow you to estabilish who was the most mid driver in the pack
So I’ll tell you something. When I came up with this idea it was originally gonna be every season from 2010-now in one video and we would find out who finished 10th the most. When I’ve gone through each of the seasons I will do a video at the end where I add up all the 10ths to truly find the most mid driver of all time. Your idea isn’t bad but i feel like it’s a bit too much

I’ve also done one of these using racing league tools to make the standings and race results, and I did 2021 without Red Bull or Mercedes. It’s very interesting, you should do it as well
Pretty much what I do is. Let’s say the top 4 was Hamilton, Verstappen, Bottas, and Perez. And Leclerc came 5th and Sainz came 6th. If we remove rb and Merc then Leclerc and Sainz inherit the win so it’s a Ferrari 1-2. And whoever came 7th, let’s say Norris would come 3rd.
I probably will end up doing loads of different scenarios. Probably more on this current year though. 20th getting max points, reversed points, the champjonship without the top 4 teams. Gonna be interesting but only if there’s demand for it

You should've had 10th, 9th and 8th score points in the sprint
This was 2021 where only 1st 2nd and 3rd scored points. It’s reversed points, therefore if the points only go to 8th then 8th will get the max points.

Yeah the issue with them is that you need to actually get into the top 10 to be in with a chance of getting points. They were both pretty shit at doing that

There’s 1 point in it and also I think I might have fucked up by not giving lando some points earlier in the season :/ But good observation
I think we need a slight recount. The sums of the McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull drivers don’t add up to the points you have given them in the constructors.
Ok:
mclaren = 346 instead of 378 (how tf did I get that number)
Ferrari = 368 instead of 362 (so close noooo)
Red bull = 167.5 instead of 155.5
Bruh I don’t know how I messed up so badly but thanks for letting me know. I’ll be extra careful in my next one of these
On your list Norris + Ricciardo = 346 whereas McLaren is 378
Leclerc + Sainz = 368 whereas Ferrari is 362
Verstappen + Perez = 167.5 whereas Red Bull is 155.5
I don’t think it makes a difference for Red Bull, but whichever count is correct decides whether McLaren or Ferrari finish 2nd in the championship.
I mean at least it didn’t change the champion but yeah like I said above I’ll be extra careful in the next one I do of these so as to not miscount

This is realy cool, could you try the normal points system, but its shifted back 1 place, so its basically first place getting disqualified
for example
1st = 0
2nd = 25
3rd = 18
4th = 15
5th = 12
6th = 10
7th = 8
8th =6
9th = 4
10th = 2
11th = 1
12th - 20th = 0
