I don’t know what’s more mad, covers of this behemoth dropping seemingly monthly all around RUclips, or this take possibly being the take to end all takes. It’s phenomenally ott-as dancing mad as it gets!
Thank you! That was certainly the intent (to be as OTT as the clown God himself).
"The entry of gladiators" in the Purgatory track is pure genius
Thank you! I’ve been wanting to do that mash up for decades.
@@TrashPandaMusicYT Awesome, just wondering if you've sneak in some waltz on some orchestras that you remixed.
Oh, so that’s what that tune is called.
Purgatory is a masterpiece
7:35 That March Entry of the Gladiators, also known as the classic Circus music.
That part was awesome and a fitting movement to what is going on in this part of the Final Boss Battle.
Agreed! It’s certainly how I felt playing that phase of the boss. 😂
I can only imagine how that applies to FFXIV's Kefka (Savage) as well when the raid was current... 😂
(I'm only familiar with tail-end of ShB and then the entirety of EW, sorry)
I'm not only impressed with the music, but whoever was playing FF6 and able to win with a team at such low levels took some skill.
My favorite way to beat Kefka was with a team of Imps. Boy that was fun!
And this remix has further proven why I think Dancing Mad, the original or any rendition of it, is truly the best of any final boss music I've heard. Each tier with the same amount work put into it, all connecting together by a thread carefully woven to stitch them to form a glorious piece. Fantastic work, I hope this gains more recognition, you rightfully deserve it.
Agreed. OWA gets all the publicity and love, but Dancing Mad is just had so many more creative layers. Truly an outstanding work of art -- only limited by the hardware medium of its day.
@@johntsui OWA is overrated; the only reason it ever got any form of excitement was because it had lyrics in it, despite the fact that the lyrics don't really describe what is going on very well.
This is the best arrangement of Dancing Mad I've listened to yet along with that one very popular symphonic arrangement that is 7 years old. Both have a different interpretation of the piece, and yours legitimately tries to offer something more than a simple cover. Excellent job!
Splendid! The hard power chords that slam in, sustain, and abruptly chop off, combined with the church organ, create something really new & unique that also works astonishingly well. Will have to ponder that.
Beyond awesome man, Im sure Uematsu would approve 👏👏
VERY GOOD, now I have to add it in my dancing mad playlist
Magnificent! Your transitions and the ending are just amazing. You really bring the guitar in but keep balance... This things needs more likes!
I'm only 4min into the song and It sounds incredible!!!!!.Leaving my like already.
This is absolutely beautiful, enthralling, and mindblowing delectable for us old school FF6 fans. I got goosebumps listening to it. I've listened to many other renditions of this Uematsu's masterpiece and yours is by far the best. The only other one I can compare it to on quality level is the Grissini Project's version, and that one has a very different sensibility; both deserve to be enjoyed separately. Congratulations and thank you.
I’m glad you enjoyed it so much! Comments like these make all the effort that went into it worthwhile.
This is gold. One of my top favorites.
Really glad to hear that! Thank you for listening.
this deserves more view, well done guys.
The algorithm has blessed you. And deservedly so.
THIS IS A REALLY F*CKING GOOD COVER OF THIS SONG!!!!! 1:10 - 1:32 is one of the most metal, and gothic chord progressions ever composed. Change my mind. Better yet, fyte me. Edit: I get a MAJOR prog metal sorta Opeth sound on the movement starting @ 12:42 - this interpretation does a great job of preserving and embellishing upon that feel from the original,
Thank you! I am a huge Opeth fan (before they went prog rock) so that’s quite a compliment. I feel like Mikael would have come up with more complex guitar riffs instead of letting the orchestra, drums and bass carry the show though. He’d probably have a sick Kefka laugh-growl too. 😂
I thought I’d commented on this before, but it seems I forgot to. Just wanted to say, this is amazing work and thank you for making it!
Thank you so much!
One of the best renditions of Dancing Mad I've ever listened to!
Thank you! It was a huge undertaking, so these comments make my day. :)
I cannot believe such a masterpiece can actually exist.
I'm speechless. I've listened to countless "remixes", "remasters" and "covers" of this song before, but this is the absolute ONLY case where I can say someone actually surpassed the original piece. Astonishing. Congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for the high praise! I don’t know if the original piece can be topped, but I appreciate it all the same!
I just want to make sure, but are you downplaying other remixes, remasters, and covers of Dancing Mad that other people made by putting those words in quotes?
@@obot321sucks4
No, I am not 👌
@@MrAnsatsuken Ah. Thank goodness that I misunderstood.
idk, FalKKonE's remix is pretty good...
The GOATed remix, I even listened to it many times.
Haha! I’m thrilled you like it so much. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
This was tremendous!!
This track is 🔥
Keep it up fr.
Speechless and in love!!!
Amazing cover!
すごく好き!
Cool!
I still can't believe you had the audacity to pull this off, you madman. Great work Trash Panda!
The music is very well done, and that final and the quiet pace while Kefka reminisces… all a great work indeed!
But i will only hear this music from now on, because my internal gamer is screaming at the poor choice of equipment and party you used. xD
Thank you for the kind words about the music! The game footage is from another channel. His poor party makeup is the reason I had enough footage to last the whole song. 🤣
@@TrashPandaMusicYT well, when you put it that way… thanks for the guy whose bad tactics provided several minutes of material for this awesome song 🤣👍
@@johnsalvador2358 shameless self promotion: if you enjoyed this one, you’ll likely enjoy the FF6 Battle cover I did too. 😉

That movement 4.
It's actually really hard to find a good cover of dancing mad! No one seems to really be able ro do it justice and I ends up just sounding like noise.
This however, is really good. The best cover I've heard by far!
HOLY S%#@! So cool! New subscriber!
great
My favourite ff villain
Damn you for forcing me to headbang at 10:40.
😂
7:35 最高。デタラメなほど強い攻撃仕掛けてきた時この曲が流れたらダイナミックだろうなー
distracted by the bizarre combat choices. curing an uninjured party immediately? robbing the god of magic? using an earthquake summon on a flying foe?
Couldn’t explain a one of those. I’m guessing the guy playing was tired and just trying to power through to the end. 🤣
Kefka was more powerful than sephiroth. Sephiroth only took 3 people to kill him. Kefka took 3 teams of 4 people.
Actually Kefka killed my Painting Chick.
So it was a 3v1 for me

@@TheLyre3 yup
Hell, Purgatory, and finally Heaven. Hmph sorry Kefka, but you’re no Dante Alighieri
Goddamn...
kino
Dude Sabin is the most op characters in ff6 cause of his dblows that cost 0mp
My party consist of
Terra, Sabin, shadow and that kid that every time she draw it become a skill (forgot the name of the kid sorry) and I defeated kefka in just a 12 minutes or so........
妖星乱舞ってDancing Madって英題なのか
Yes.
In this video we can see how easy and weak the final boss is. Being defeated by that low level, weak party... but nice job. Great Dancing Mad version.
What is even that? Most of the track is Clipped...
Sorry, what do you mean?
@@TrashPandaMusicYT Clipping is is a form of waveform distortion. Read about it on wikipedia.
@@Hato1992 the track is not clipping. It was limited to -1.0 dB true peak and -14 LUFS-I.
@@TrashPandaMusicYT I see, sounds like one for me.
Не дожал. Некоторые патерны лишние и только создают наляпистость. Но за труды дизлайк я ставить не буду.
sorta lost its sense of impressiveness when the circus music started playing
To each their own. Thank you for listening! :)
Wow,wow,WOW! Well done @TrashPanda. regards kgdrum
