Every person only has so much space for memories. This arrangement will forever be in mine. The only reason that this doesn't have more views is because it's so long. More Final Fantasy fans need to be made aware of this memorable piece.
Just discovered this today. This is legit the best symphonic rendition I've ever seen of this piece along with the 8 years old symphonic arrange, which is saying a LOT. This is amazing!
@@thewardenofoz3324 I gotta agree with you, there are multiple other glaring issues with the mix, the instrument quality, the harmonization choices, like it's not god-awful by any means but certainly not THE BEST, and _CERTAINLY_ not better than Distant Worlds.
For someone who is simply a passionate hobbies, this is pretty damn good. I don’t think there are “glaring” issues with it at all. Is it perfect? No, but it is a fuck ton better than a lot of other fan versions of this song and has a ton of creative passion behind it. Even if his changes didn’t always land all of the time, the fact he tried to put his own spin on the song made it a wonderful and worthwhile listen.
Remember: When fighting the god magic, pack enough supplies for 4 forms, avoid elemental magics, and have an escape plans as its domain crumbles to dust. Also, amazing mix. Needs more views.
Just perfection ! Bought your arrangement on BandCamp ! The only missing bit is that the BandCamp version is the 5 movements, so 5 files, but not one file that include all the movement at all. An all in-one version can be great for someone like me that may listen in the car during driving BUT having a shuffle mode activated. As having the movement split in 5 different file may just mix one part with another part or another music depending how you listen music to your phone through your playlist. For my part, I juste created my own version from your ALAC files with Foobar2000 in order to merge everything without quality loss in one file, for my phone. For differenciating it, I just called it: "D-Pad Fanfare - Saltatio Calamitosae- Final Fantasy VI Dancing Mad - 00 Mv. 0 - Alpha and Omega (The Beginning and the End)"
Yeah usually the second movement has that annoying half organ super throaty "ooo" sound in it and ruins it. Like mario from nintendo is attempting opera with only one sound.
16:47 I was not expecting that, this part sounds amazing! I love the original Dancing Mad, but it always came weird to me how the song slows down in this part. Your interpretation of Movement 4 was very good, i love how it sounds when the whole track keeps the same speed and energy without slowing down! You have made something very special indeed
That’s essentially my biggest gripe with the original, and my reasoning to move it to five parts instead of the usual four. So I decided to kept the tempo the same, double time the drums, and make it the most energetic (and eventually my favorite) change to the song!
If you live in LA right now and aren't taking the opportunity to dance up and down the streets to the second movement of this song, as fire consumes everything around you, what do you even live for?
16:48 OH MY GOD! 👏👏👏👏
I really like this cover and I've listened to many. It has a great progression.

I LOVE the hints of Kefka’s theme inserted in part 2. First with the plucked strings, then the one right before the frantic finale!

Agreed. Even better than the distant worlds version.
Hard disagree. Synth vocals, an edgy 4th, and a long-drawn 5th brought it down.

Also, mind the Moogle's hair...
Wonderful movements from start to finish.
Each version of Dancing Mad reminds me to stay calm even if the world is falling all around you.

Phenomenal in its own right, fantastic work!
30 years, and I've only now noticed the sublte hints of machinery embedded in the gods...
Almost as insane as this mix is awesome.
Oh my God, a Dancing Mad arrangement that has an actually engaging Tier 2! This is awesome!

Falkkone and Zy have both had versions of Tier 2 that I love.

Easily one of the best Dancing Mad arrangements on this site. Phenomenal work!
This is probably the most impressive rendition of that theme. Spectacular!!!
This is art, and it deserves way more views and likes than it has.

Absolutely stellar arrangement, this had me in absolute awe from beginning to end.

Lore of Saltatio Calamitosae: Dancing Mad (Full Symphony) momentum 100
You took the song, made it longer and practically made it better! 🔥🔥🔥
This is a gem and not many know it.
Noice.
Comment for algorithm.
Was this made by God himself!? This is such absolutely extraordinary variation of dancing mad put together! 👏
This is absolutely amazing, holy shit
Those title names For The segments bellissimo.
are those official?
Nope! Movement names I thought of when I was working on it. I made sure they were really good!
This sounds wonderful!
There it is! Thanks!
this is awesome
It‘s… perfekt!
Oh my goodness 😮
Wow, this is better than the original in my opinion. You have complemented it. I want to see the behind the scenes of making this.
Sadly, I wish I could peel the curtain back and show footage of its creation, but maybe I can do something else…

Amazing !!!
Sublime!!!
If you were to put this to be the final fantasy 6 remake
Moviment IV shouldn't it be "Ira Improbi Angeli? Also, i prefer this version of the distant worlds one, that's saying alot.
Thanks for the kind words! And you may be right about the Latin. Good ol’ Google Translate was used there. So….. yeah…
You spelt "Dance" as "Dane" in the chapter and description.
Thanks! Fixed!
With all due respect to One Winged Angel...
Good but the 4. Part I don't like the e-guitar instead of the moving chorus destroys for me the 4. Parz%movement
