Hell yeah FINALLY
I will say this dancing mad from final fantasy 6 and serpent eating the horizon from bravely default. Are about equal in how terrifying they sound with full orchestras. Boss wise I think both would be friends.
YESSSSSSSS FINALLLY
Make Terra's theme song please
FalKKonE Praise it!
The madman, he did the whole theme
it's always "all or nothing" gamble ;)
Haha, love your covers, continue to be intense af please ! ^^

*_HE’S TOO DANGEROUS TO BE LEFT ALIVE_*
one might even say it could only be done by a............ *dancing madman*
People always talk about Sephiroth when they talk about Final Fantasy villains. But this guy here? He's the Joker in anime form: Seemingly silly, but in reality the most cold blooded murder in the entire series. He literally became a god and unleashed an apocalypse, ruining most of the world just for giggles and lols, then literally just sat on top of a mountain and laughed at everyone else's misfortune all day, every day, until the heroes finally came to defeat him.
Still think Sephiroth is the much better character as he actually has depth and dimension (and of course, style), but I'm glad to see a Kefka fan actually describe him accurately for once instead of "Hurr he blew up teh wurld, der was no secund half of teh gaem! Cid and Shadow died an dat wuz de onle outcom!"
If I'm being 100% objective, easily the best FF villain is Kuja. He's not as funny, but is otherwise Kefka on steroids except three-dimensional in terms of character.
Glad to see an objective fan in youtube comments for a change. Also this song is amazing.
He slaughtered everyone in Doma except Cyan , god damn the guy is a maniac
@@YamishiMizuandDracus
Sephiroth´s motive is kinda stupid, Kefka is much better.
@@no.402 Kefka's entire motive was that he gets off on blowing shit up and seeing people die.
Sephiroth's motive was that he was lied to his entire life, went insane upon learning the horrifying truth of what he really was, decided he was going to wipe out human life and start over, creating a shining utopia full of genetically engineered beautiful Jenova babies with himself as their heroic founder due to his warped perception of justice after he went crazy at Nibelheim.
@@bigdaddynasty69 Sephiroth's massacre of Nibelheim kinda parallels Kefka's Doma. Except one simply poisoned a well where the other set the whole town on fire, picked up his sword and started slicing. But the real champion of mass-murder here is easily Kuja. Pretty much did what Kefka did but to literally every civilization on the planet, and then actually destroyed a planet, not like Kefka just leaving the world in a post-apocalyptic state and just waiting for you to come kill him. Kuja actually reduced an entire world to dust.
Kefka, one of two villains I can think of in any media to have truly achieved his goal in a long while. He deserves a round of applause.
And Ganon is the other :¶
Except he did not. His goal was endless destruction, not ruining a world and ruling it. Kefka wanted to kick away every "sandcastle" that would ever be tried to be built so nobody would even try it anymore.
@@Cetra29
After Kefka died, magic ceased to exist and the world was left in ruin. He won and had the last laugh.
Ardyn succeeded in everything he set out to do, though it was more a mandate of the gods.
@@Cetra29 the majoras mask effect, we got a taste of what he would do but he didn't fully succeed.
Heed the first movement, remember the destruction of the world.
Now, behold the destruction of life, dreams, hope; it is the fate of all things.
Heed the second movement, and stand in awe.
Now, behold your former vain attempts at stopping the inevitable.
Heed the third movement, this is the power you oppose.
Now, behold your savior and god; there is no salvation, prayers fall on deaf ears.
Heed the fourth movement, the skies are tearing apart.
Now, behold the wild dance of a charming star.
This gives me the same vibes as P is for perfect
final fantasy 6's final boss was truly the best in the entire series, you had to use like 4 parties filled with different characters to fight each segment and part of the boss, you utilized almost all the characters to fight the boss, something you never do in all the newer games, truly the first game with a raid boss as its final boss, very well done boss and a good fight if you aren't extremely over leveled.
i feel like this is how final fantasy final bosses should be, a combined effort of all of the characters to bring them down and not just one single party with the others sitting in the background, having all of the characters you went through the game with, all their stories meeting up at the same end point of a final battle with all of them engaging in, that is how it should be, that is the most bad ass kind of final boss and story sequence.
You are a visionary(sorry the bad english)
"something you never do in all the newer games"
FFVIII kinda did that too.
And non-FF games that do that are still coming out as I'm writing this.
@@MuradBeybalaev And very much FFX.
Sadly (?) I had everyone at lvl 80 (at least) for the final fight, so I ended up beating him with only one party and an extra character bc Mog was beaten almost at the end of the 3rd phase
LEGIIIIIIIIT!!! And the SYMBOLISM!!!
Final Fantasy 1: A warrior who got bored of being a hero and decided he was even better at being a villain.
Final Fantasy 2: A narcissistic emperor who got himself killed just so he could conquer the entire afterlife, and then destroy the world so he could rule over everyone in death.
Final Fantasy 3: A personification of darkness you didn't even know about till the end.
Final Fantasy 4: A mind-controlled warrior.
Final Fantasy 5: A void-obsessed knight who's actually an evil tree.
Final Fantasy 6: THE GOD WHO LAUGHS.
Final Fantasy 7: An angry abuse victim who has some serious mommy issues. (with an alien who isn't even his real mother)
Final Fantasy 8: A timebending witch who got so high she nearly unwound reality.
Final Fantasy 9: A fruity narcissist who can't stand the idea of the world existing without him...oh dammit, that ass-pull personification of darkness thing is back.
Final Fantasy 10: An extremely manly sports star serving as a giant space whale's unwilling living battery.
Why does 9 sound so familiar? “ I am the best FF villain of all time. Many people say the greatest. I know all the best spells. Believe me.”
The idea of Ultimecia smoking a fatty and just going, "Hey man... you wanna see something really COOL???" before screwing all of space and time actually made me lol
@Your Local Commenter Final Fantasy XI: A Twilight God consumes a vast amount of darkness to become a dragon and slaughters all but one of the residents of the world of Abyssea (This is the best interpretation I could come up with since the wiki was poorly constructed).
Final Fantasy XII: An Imperial Consul seizes power, both political and supernatural, to free Ivalice from the iron grasp of godly figures with the assistance of a renegade godly figure.
Final Fantasy XIII: Godly overseer plots to use the party to sacrifice millions of people to call back the patron deity of Cocoon, cause child misses parent, I guess.
Final Fantasy XIII-2: Dark Guardian plots to kill the Goddess of Death to destroy the timeline, end his mistresses' eternal reincarnation cycle, and to end his solitary immortal existence.
Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII: The God of Light wants to destroy the world that he spent the entire game creating to purge not just the souls of the dead from it, but the memories of the dead as well.
Final Fantasy XIV: The Legatus of the Seveth Legion of the Garlean Empire plots to cast Meteor to bring down one of the planet's moons "to purify Eorzea of it's sins".
Final Fantasy XV: Forgotten Scion of the the Ruling Family of Imsomnia plots to not only destroy the world, but to eradicate his own family line in quest for revenge.
Final Fantast XVI: TBA.
Correction: the nihilistic God that doesn't give a damn about the world or its inhabitants that laughs
ok i get your trying to make the other bosses seem bad in comparison with kefa but you literally made kefa sound like one of the worser bosses

Ya like jazz?
Suck it Trollz World Tour!
Finally, a version that does the chanting justice. Almost every cover of Dancing Mad I've heard massively undersells the intensity of the chanting & the choir.
4:52 that transition is godly
Most JRPG villains have one of two goals
1: Destroy the world
2: Become a God
Kefka did both...
Suck it Sephiroth!
Kefka didn't exactly destroy the world, more scarred it. Mateus became a god before Kefka did, Exdeath destroyed the world (temporarily) before Kefka did. Kuja straight up glassed an entire planet and then destroyed the source of all life, then more or less decided to undo what he'd done. Caius is arguably the first to successfully accomplish both; destroying a world (technically) and being a god.
Didn't sephiroth destroy an entire solar system?
Kefka is to Void termina...
As sephiroth is to galacta knight.....
If Kefka Actually Destroyed The World, The Entire Planet Would Be Lifeless & It Would Explode... Which Didn't Happened (Thank Naga) & In The Ending, The World Is Being Rebuilt... Somewhat...
You gotta change #1 to Rule the world. That is what Kefka did.
Why do people insist on creating things that will inevitably be destroyed? Why do people cling to life, knowing that they must someday die? ...Knowing that none of it will have meant anything once they do?
Kefka Palazzo
Well, Hes not wrong.
I mean we're here, why not do something with it. What's the alternative?
Meaning is arbitrary
Some say things have meaning because they will be destroyed
I say We give things meaning due to various reasons
Eh. I don't think it's particularly deep tbh. What is meaning in itself? Once you answer this you got your answer to all of those questions.
meaning is a concept created by humans, to help them understand things
and it got nothing to do with human's mortality.
knowing that yourself in particular and humanity in general will die anyway, the best way to go now is just focus on your life, and make it meaningful, at least to yourself.
it doesn't matter what will become of us; what's matter is how we are living our life
Final Fantasy VII was amazing.
Final Fantasy VI was a masterpiece.
How could you say something so controversial yet so brave!
@@jessewilhelm948 fact tho
6 has like a very personal business of each character towards the main villain, everyone is really personal about going for Kefka's throat
As for 7 the really personal one was only Cloud, the rest were just like tag along or got drag into the business unintentionally
So in term of villain 6 is over 7
But in term of story telling both are kinda match up pretty well
@@welennelew9866 I'm aware this a highly subjective matter, but I feel like FFVII story is uselessly "complicated" in the second part of the game while FFVI storyline is clear from start to end eventhough it's really detailed. Like a real classic should be. On the other hand you could say FFVII is the real premises for all the modern Final Fantasys in term of setting. Again this is just a passionate yet modest opinion.
@@lordgogo2686 if that's how you evaluate a story or plot then I would also like to say 9 is also kinda better than 7
7 lore has gotten too deep for its own good, while 6 and 9 are clear cut about what they were going to tell and finished it where and when it should be
7's plot has gotten kinda convoluted after all these years with those prequels, sequels, and spinoffs

Gotta say, even in the remix my favorite parts are the first and final movements. The raw anger and that brief emotional break in the first phase set the tone of "this is the final battle - everything you know and love rests on this. No pressure." while the final fight switches between outright *insane* anger, lashing out indiscriminately before switching to a tone that pities the final boss even after all the crap that set you through, as if he realizes exactly what he's done and knows how screwed he is and there's nothing he can do to stop it aside from returning to that indiscriminate rage.

I love when final boss themes change throughout the fight, it keeps you on your toes and makes you get into it
Damn, this is good! It's good to see people still make covers/remasters/reorchestrations of this song. And hear one so good.
Yep, I’m remembering how intimidated I was against Kefka.
Jesse Yuri22 He was scarier as a clown
I have no idea what to change my name to But Kefka became a Clown God which really made me lose my wits. 😅
And that's actually one of the scarier things about him... he actually WON. He became a god, reshaped the world, and bested the heroes trying to stop him, breaking their spirits and scattering them across the world! If Celes hadn't managed to drum up the courage to drag the other heroes back into the fight, Kefka might have ruled forever. O.o
And Kefka was the first Antagonist to ever conquer and ruin the world, not once, but twice.
Kefka actually wanted to die by the time Celes's party got to him. He would have found another way.

PART FOUR. OH MY GOD. GOOSEBUMPS.
If I may be so bold as to make a casual criticism on this: Phases 1 - 2 and 4 all hit their marks of what this piece should sound like. However, phase 3 sounds off in the tone that the fight is supposed to represent; which also sadly effects the tone of phase 4 following after. Phase 3 when Kefka dawns the angelic form and the sound fades to simple chorus and organ, he is supposed to be boasting of how divine he is. Of how his way is supposed to be that of the correct path. That though he embodies the overwhelming demonic power from phase 1 and the thoughts of all humanity incarnated with mockery in phase 2, this was supposed to be looking down at his foes telling them that they stand no chance. That they are pathetic for trying to fight someone of a higher plane. That they cannot comprehend him and he is above all others. Meanwhile, your phase 3 has more of a heroic victory kind of tone: the heroes are winning and Kefka is slowly falling down. While your rendition sounds great and is very pleasing to the ear, it is so filled with hype that you miss the mark of how that piece's tone is. Which - sadly - downgrades the fourth piece. Instead of Kefka coming down saying "Now we shall end this, one way or another. I am not holding back anymore." where he will accept defeat gracefully in silence, yours makes it sound like Kefka is dawning a more stressful form. A last resort that he had no intentions or understanding of ever going into. Instead of dawning what should be that of a Godly aura, your third phase makes it seem like a panic move. Which when it comes to the end, he isn't falling down in silence but you would possibly hear him screaming - wrything - and angerly unnacepting his defeat. Which doesn't fit Kefka's identity. It could just be me, and I could just be over annalizing; but that is I hear it. Be it unintentional on your part, I am sure. If I was making a metal symphony, I would probably not do any better. If I was in your shoes it would be the same thing I would have done. It all sounds great, but that is possibly the one gripe I could give this piece. You do amazing work, and this is no exception. It is fantastic. I just wanted to speak up a little bit on how I interpret that third phase and what it does to the meaning of the final phase.
k
I have to disagree with your analysis of the time for the third phase. Kefka's still playing with you during the third phase, you've yet to reach his pinnacle, and during this time, you are having more of his almost childlike demeanor from the early portions of the game. He was explosive, and aggressive. Then, you find out all along he's been doing nothing but toying with you, the entire time. I think the aggressive tones that give way to the heavenly chorus that paid just before you face the final phase is the embodiment of Kefka.
Dayuummmmmm you KILLED IT!!!!! NEEDS millions more likes and i wanna see more fire music like this!!!
