I prefer to have the foots on the Terra, but yea, it does not match well with rock. It would be nice to have the whole opera scene done in one arrage.

Also if they don't get in your way. I just love it when they comply completely and you get to see the look of fear in their eyes as you stab them in the back. I don't care who you are that's hilarious.
SPOILERS for those who don't know who Kefka is: Kefka was an evil genius. Then, his mind was warped as he was infused with magicite by the Emperor's experiments. Pure evil and pure madness make quite the interesting combination, especially when you're still smart and powerful enough to successfully overthrow the world governments and become a literal god. Of course, with a twisted mind, Kefka got bored of being a god, and decided to destroy the world. Before he did that though, he wanted to have one last laugh, and finally fully kill the party who had tried to stop him before, and failed.
Yay! KEFKA!!! I freakin' love this guy! He's one of the few villains who actually won. THERE IS SAND IN MY BOOTS!!!

Harry Guidotti Depends on how you feel about Marche, who destroyed an entire world and got away with it afterward.
Theres also Kuja who fullfilled every evil plan he had. Including destroying a world as well.
Kefka was still the first, though.
@@charroboo But Kuja's goal was to prove his power and superiority, and everything he wants and fights for is ultimately defeated by his own mortality. Kefka's goal is utter destruction and chaos, and he certainly takes it to a point no other FF villain does.
Nothing can beat the music of hundreds of voices screaming in unison!
I know it's never said in game, but: What about the music of thousands of voices?
Those are the screams of the poisoned people of Doma that's the first F-uped thing he did but his theme slaps
What's so amazing about Kefka is his arc. At the start of the story he's more of a cartoon villain that's kinda annoying but really doesn't present himself as the much of a threat. The heroes run from or chase him away but don't really make the sacrifices to kill him because at that point he's not presenting himself as the world ending threat he ends up being. By the end of it they're lining up on a potential suicide mission just to stop him.
And this song carries his character. It shoots straight in the middle, able to present the man as both a jester and an evil overlord.
Best FF villain. Period. With a kick was song to boot. Well done

I will say Uoroboros from Bravely Default is a close second.
Barry Bend True, but the point of BD is to not be a Final Fantasy.
But how can it not be considered a final fantasy game. Tell me what game revived the classic final fantasy style game. Plus only Uoroboros is the only square made boss to equal Kefka eat your heart out large whale from FF 10.
Uoroboros has a long intense boss fight with amazing music but overall i wouldn't call him that good of a villain. Plot wise at least.
The only Final Fantasy villain who ever actually succeeded in bring the world to ruin. Seph has alot to learn from Kefka

You do realize that sephiroth doesn't want to destroy Gaia right? He wants to claim it, and later on use it as a vessel to journey onto another world for him to conquer.

I can honestly see Kefka postponing the blowing up the world plan just to headbang to this. This song has never sounded this good. Well freaking done on this one.
I can see him going full Sorcerer's Apprentice with the three statues to this as he sets the world ablaze.
I mean, he was only going to blow up the world because he was bored of being an omnipotent god, so makes sense he'd delay it for a little fun.
He might even literally put on this cover to make destroying the world fun before he annihilates the world.
This song makes me SUPER HAPPY... Need to play more of 6...
There is a certain destructive elegance to this song that I really love, couple that with a sadistic, psycopathic jester and a demonic, unforgettable laugh...
And you just created a legend that leaves fear and awe in the hearts of anyone who hears the name Kefka Palazzo!

This is awesome, the quality of your covers seems to have drastically improved. The melodies are now much more at the forefront of the songs and aren't getting lost so much in the mixing. Great work, I look forward to hearing what you cover next, and especially down the road if you do anything from MH World. That is of course assuming World will have music that's worthy of covering. I'm really hoping the composer, or composers, don't just make all the battle themes ambient environment-based background tracks... I'm not a huge fan of what I've heard so far... I mean the music isn't bad, but it sounds generic and seems to lack the personality of the other themes in the series.

This is a damn fine cover, no doubt about it, but I when I listened to it, I felt there was a missed opportunity. It would've been interesting if the instruments and tempo changed: slower tempo with pianos, violins, and the like, then a slight shift to the normal/slightly faster tempo as drums & guitar riffs change the pace and tone of the song in a way that exudes violence. Go back & forth between the two when appropriate, and then maybe end with a fusion of both at the end.
