Really good editing, really good story telling and film content, all the way down to sharing your breakfast with us….and thats what makes a watchable sailing channel, good people included. Cheers and best, 🤗
Well, you were right. This week was rockier than the last. And you got a beautiful haircut in really rough seas (cute). Next week sounds intriguing. See you then.
Some exciting sailing but are you crazy! No life jacket, going on deck at night! No harness Megan ! Can’t imagine what the kids would do if just one of you slipped and went overboard! Please , no matter how confident you feel , don’t be foolish cos we all want you around for a long time yet! Safe sailing, Nick
Thank you Nick! Megan was harnessed in at the mast. The week before I was probably a bit irresponsible with how I retrieved the sail. We are trying to stick around for a while yet. 😉
Good job sailing through the Coral Sea and Torres Strait. We sailed from Fiji to Saumlaki Indonesia and only used the main for the Torres Strait. Plenty wind for just the Genoa on our boat. We did anchor behind a couple islands in the Strait so we could do that stretch in daylight. Glad you didn't have any serious issues to deal with.
Eily did a very good job. She’s gonna be a great partner for some very lucky man in the future. In Patrick O’Brien’s Aubrey-Maturin novels, he repeatedly warns about the perils of a lee shore. I would think if you can see the lighthouse on the lee shore, you’re too close!
We were too close a number of times, but the nature of the Strait is that you don’t have a lot of sea room in any direction. It was some uncomfortable sailing to be sure!
(Dedicated to my good friend Britney S.) I love Torres Strait! Don't who's Torres but he's a cool guy, baby! I love Torres Strait! Come and drown with me! Glad you're... okay?

All’s well that ends well. There were a few nervous moments.
a great aventure. Keiran must have avoided the camera this week.
He’s a bit off and on with that these days. More off, which we respect.
