I'm often one of the first to dive into your weekly episodes, and they're always crafted with such skill and care. The overhead drone shots of Scout alongside the pilot whales were a breathtaking addition to this episode. You have a remarkable talent for capturing the true essence of your journey-the challenges faced and conquered seamlessly blending with those extraordinary moments. Your ability to handle each situation with grace, without a hint of complaint, is truly inspiring. The cherished memories you're weaving with your family tug at the heartstrings, and I encourage you to keep embracing and sharing your incredible adventures. Everyone should subscribe and binge watch this channel.
What amazing footage of the pilot whales! That must have been an incredible experience. As always, we enjoy your family's positive attitudes about sailing and life in general. Hope you're enjoying Australia!!
What an awesome video!! The footage of the Pilot whales literally brought tears 2 my eyes! I'll say it again, ur beautiful babies are sooo fortunate the Lord blessed u with them!! Waiting 4 the next adventure in Darwin! God bless n stay safe!!!❤🙏😎👍👍👍
Thanks Pitman! The whales might well have been our most magical wildlife experience yet. They stayed with us for quite a while! Thanks for watching and we’ll see you next week!
What you see afloat is indeed sand. Throughout Indonesia and especially the Malacca strait you find heavy floating sand. Which can give problems when running an engine with a low water intake. We had 2-3 kn less speed in areas with floating sand.. what you showed in this video is just a very small bit.
What a great video! Several frames of your drone video of the Pilot whales are Nat Geo photos-I've never seen that before. This has been an epic sail to Darwin. Like every week, I look forward to next week and some dry land for you all. Take care.
Do you ever get tired of seeing anything but water. We thought of selling our RV and buying a sale boat then realized what we would miss in our travels and that is seeing things and looking at nothing but water plus being limited to where we could visit once we arrive. we agreed not seeing anything but water would drive us crazy and what is funny is we own two boats but they are for our time we come off the road for six months of the year to destress and spend time with family since our grandsons have now started school and cant travel with us. maybe one day we will do the sail boat travel so watching those who do to learn as much as we can about the real life we would be living and what problems we would face to see which method of travel we would enjoy the most. starting to get burnt out on RV life too
I think you don’t really know until you’re out here. Some folks hate being out of sight of land and some love it. Fortunately that’s something we’re all comfortable with, for long stretches. I like knowing some new and exciting destinations waits on the other end but the journey alone is worth it for me, anyway.
North America, South America and Oceania. We technically reached Oceania all the way back in French Polynesia but Australia certainly feels like it should be its own continent.

Thanks Carl! Growth seems to be slow and steady rather than explosive but that’s ok. We really do appreciate the well wishes, keep them coming!

Congratulations guys, nicely sailed! 😊. SV Zia
Thank you very much! This sail wasn’t exactly as we imagined it, but we got there in the end!

Thanks so much! The whales stayed with us for quite a while, hence the ability to get the drone out. Thanks for journeying along with us!

The pilot whales looked to be enjoying the attention. That was awesome.
Yes! We were SO close!

Interesting, I saw online somewhere it was a coral spawn. I’ll look out for it as we head out again. Thanks for watching!
Great drone shots of the pilot whales! It really shows how big they are.
Thank you! We’re lucky they stayed with us for so long to be able to get the drone up! Thanks for watching!

Which 3 continents?
North America, South America and Oceania. We technically reached Oceania all the way back in French Polynesia but Australia certainly feels like it should be its own continent.
If any channel deserves pilot whales instead of dolphins it's y'all!
🥰
Nate, Did you read the email I sent about last week’s video? Dad
I did - thanks!
